The best restaurants in Castle Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

If you’re into modern country music this is the bar to go to in Scarborough! Went in early doors and it was country music all the way( ok there was a little bit of Irish folk in between but that’s almost country). Great to see a bar catching onto the fastest growing genre of music in the uk. Brilliant!

I have been to subway over the past 2 days.On the first day I went at four o,clock and ordered a sandwich.The sandwich I ordered was lovely.it tasted amazing but it would of been better if I could of chosen my own bread.The man behind the counter didn't ask what bread I wanted and just took a bread out of the heater.but the funny thing is that they were advertising 5 different breads and only had one.Another bad thing is that when I went to pay the lady behind the counter took ages to put my order in because she was to busy chatting to her co worker because he wanted to have a break.The prices are also ridiculous I order a 6 inch sandwich with 5 ingredients and it coated £5.09.On day 2 i left swimming and walked to subway i got there 25 minutes before closing time but they were shut.There was a man behind the glass I knocked on the glass and he shook his head.I told him the time and he said everything has been put away because not many people were coming.Which is fare enough but they should of stayed open until five.I told him that I walked all the way from everyone active but he didn't care.Good food but not easy to get because of the terrible service.Would not recommend it as it is too unpredictable.

Use this pub regularly drinks at good price food reasonable for this type of pub. Comfortable surroundings, not the best weatherspoons compared to many others. Come here regularly could do with more staff.

Food was cold no seats but there a, upstairs but was closed

Not a very good visit, the heating was off and the chicken looked over cooked,

The cat's pyjamas? Dog's dinner more like. After initially nearly leaving due to the horrible atmosphere we settled and ordered a breakfast and avocado and halloumi on toast with two coffees. Our drinks arrived quickly but the food mustve taken about 45 minutes to come, with no acknowledgement of the long wait. It wasnt particularly busy. When the food arrived it was awful. The breakfast was greasy and badly cooked and I couldnt finish it. The avocado and halloumi on toast was literally a few slices of avocado and overcooked halloumi, on the side of some burnt toast. Dont bother, there are far nicer places in Scarborough.

Burger overcooked, dry and chewy, the cheesy fries had obviously been microwaved which had made them like rubber, fudge cake still frozen, wont be using again, would rather have Jam on toast

Went here a while back meat good quality asked me to take some of the dog food for a trial unfortunately couldn't give any feedback as I don't know where he moved to dog enjoyed all the homemade dog food especially the one with gravy

Great food, good service. Not really the kind of music I’d be playing if you wanted to attract customers. The tables were a bit sticky and off putting

Only found out about this place due to working at the cash n carry that supplies the establishment, they always order top quality ingredients and it shows, the triple cheese fries are to die for (I had 3 portions tonight 🤣) my partner ordered the nacho cheese burger and was too big for her to finish but she loved it, 100% my go to place now, my 7 kids love the food too and they are picky eaters, great food, great staff, fantastic service, I Highly recommend...Thanks guys

Ivy by the sea cafe,is a fabulous spot to stop,and have lunch.Staff are very friendly,and the food is fantastic,lovely view across the bay.Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars from this family.

Lovely fish and chips so tasty will definitely return here again.see you soon

Had this fantastic breakfast at scar excellent quantity and produce would def visit again £8.95 with free tea or coffee refiles
