A really lovely building nicely decorated with plenty of space and different eating areas. Breakfast was great - particularly the fruit eigh yoghurt and the vegetarian fry up. Very friendly staff contributed to a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

The waiters and bar staff were very rude to us at the bar and the manager that we asked for didn't come for 15 mins at least until we finally called one over which she argued back on giving us a refund for a difference of a carling and a pepsi.

Use this pub regularly drinks at good price food reasonable for this type of pub. Comfortable surroundings, not the best weatherspoons compared to many others. Come here regularly could do with more staff.

What can I say about weatherspoons? It's weatherspoons. Cheap booze, cheap food. We were in need of some food after a long drive, so went in there. Table we sat at was quite dirty sticky.Near to us there were 2 tables occupied by youngsters being very roudy. Of course they're going to be, that's what teenagers are like, so not blaming them. They're language was a bit colourful & disrespectful to other customers. We would have moved tables but not a lot more choice.

Good pub food a little disappointed i ordered something else for a change to my usual meal but overall still happy will go again 😀

Just a few drinks here. It was quite busy but we managed to get a seat upstairs. There seems to be toilets upstairs and downstairs, which is a mirror a Wetherspoons 🤣

£4.99 for a pint of punk and half a bud light was good value for money. Nice venue and was pretty busy for a Tuesday afternoon

Great food at reasonable price. I had the curry on curry night, with a drink. Fantastic value. I used the app and although it was busy, my drink was there almost right away. Food didn't take long either. Friendly staff. I was on my own but didn't feel anxious about dining on my own.

Food wasn't the best iv had at a wetherspoons I usually love wetherspoons food. Tasted like an unclean grill. It was really really busy though so could have just been a bad day. Staff lovely and grateful atmosphere

Probably the worst wetherspoons I've ever been , miserable staff slam down your drink like it's an effort to do their job. Menu and food quality has definitely dropped at all spoons lately but this one is winning. Always out of beer . Every nice beer we order has ran out or gets half a pint so you have to be 3 beers ahead with prep . Fair enough this happens sometimes but here it happens every visit. Really tried to like this place sorry spoons

Decent stop while waiting for the train, despite the fact that it is a megachain of a pub with generic drinks, food, BUT there is atmosphere and they have a LOT of drinks to offer.

Great pub with good seating. Very rowdy crowds seem to come here and staff don’t seem to care so would advise a corner seat or upstairs seating.

Visited on a Friday night and the place was heaving. Luckily 2 floors so found a table. App service was very quick. Staff friendly

As a fan of spoonys generally I can't fault them, however I can safely say that the fish n chips at this one were the worst I've ever had in my entire life, they were dire, shan't be using this one again

Wetherspoon pub as good as ever

Cheap beer. However sat next to a bloke who had obviously peed himself several times and stank to high heaven, sat on a fabric chair and was STILL getting served put us off going there ever again.

Good standard spoons in the centre of Scarborough- no issue getting a table for breakfast but was a issue Saturday afternoon as was very busy.

The Best and Most Affordable restaurant in Scarborough. Very old, big and classic pub ambience. Fast service via app. Helpful staff. Very tasty and delicious food, amazing portion size and very affordable rates for beverages starting from £1.7 for a beer pint. Many offers. Only problem someone can have is noise as this pub/restaurant has literally hundreds of tables!

El personal es amable y tienen la gama habitual de cervezas hasta ahora muy bueno. ¡No pidas la comida! Por alguna razón, Wetherspoon considera sacar su comida rápidamente por encima de servirla caliente. Otra comida aquí estropeada por Luke caliente papas fritas empapadas, básicamente no comestible. Horrible comida, no puedo culpar al chef porque Wetherspoon's parece dictar que deben sacar la comida rápidamente a toda costa. Estoy seguro de que podrían servir una comida caliente si lo intentaran.

The staff are friendly and they have the usual range of beers so far so good. Just don't order the food! For some reason Wetherspoon's regards getting their food out quickly above serving it hot. Another meal here spoilt by luke warm soggy chips, basically inedible. Horrible food, can't blame the chef because Wetherspoon's seems to dictate that they must get the food out quickly at all costs. I'm sure they could serve a hot meal if they tried.

On the busy road so there is a lot of passing trade, but the food is good and staff are friendly although they were busy on the lunchtime when we visited. It was a nice way to finish the day before catching the bus back, as the bus station is not far away.

The foods amazing, in fact delicious, but their is so many drunk people their and chavs, also the service is good the food comes out very quickly would recommend in morning just not late because it's noisy and lots of drunk people.

Estuve dos noches corriendo. La primera noche ambos tomaron hamburguesas y una copa. Perfectamente sabroso, aunque todavía no se puede obtener una pinta decente a menos que tenga Guinness. La segunda noche tomé un jalfrezi de pollo con poppadoms y un naan, mientras que mi esposa tomó pollo coreano con arroz de coco pegajoso; que vino en un tazón de ramen negro ovalado y parecía muy tentador. Tomamos una variedad de bebidas. Me encantaría poder hacer pedidos a través de la aplicación, pero sería mucho más fácil, si algunos no hubieran premiado la mitad de los números de sus recesos. El servicio es rápido, hay un montón de opciones y algunas buenas ofertas que se pueden tener. En el lado negativo, la mayor parte de los asientos son incómodos y no importa dónde te sientes; todavía obtendrás el olor a humo, de fumar desconsideradamente fuera de las puertas, a pesar de las señales en contrario.

Stopped in for some food before getting train home. Had their 3 small plate offer to share between 2 of us. Food was good but they brought 1 incorrectly ordered dip with one of the 3 plates which neither of us enjoyed but did not distract from thek main food. Good value and beer prices excellent 4/12/24 Stopped for a drink before getting the train back to Hull. Excellent pint (2) of my fave brew Hobgoblin Ruby on draught. Great prices as always.

Didn't eat, had a few pints on my birthday in front of a real roaring fire. Half the price of everywhere else and great beer. Full of normal people. They didnt seem to mind that I was there ;)

Had breakfast this morning at Wetherspoon in Scarbourgh. Service was excellent and breakfast was great and the atmosphere was really good.

Been here a few times, most recently for breakfast. Food was decent, very good value ,hot and I didn't have a long wait. The staff are very attentive, hard working and friendly. Big shout out to Ben, who saw that I had left my phone if the table he was clearing and came running after me! Great service 😊

Ordered food which came quickly but no cutlery we mentioned it straight away and still no cutlery we tried to eat with our fingers but the melted cheese was hot on our fingers. We went over to bar area again, the manager came out and said the cutlery comes out with the food I told him it hadn't he came to our table to look at the lack of cutlery as if he didn't believe us. He then said something ridiculous he said you have to get your own I said where is it kept he said back of house (Kitchen) which only staff are allowed. Finally we were given cutlery with no apology I visit Weatherspoons 3 times a week local to me and this one is the worst I have been in

We were on holiday with our family so 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We struggled to find a seat and as we were walking out we found 1. The menu were great you could order 3 things from a wide selection of different foods like chicken, chips, vegetarian dishes too for £15.66. Placed our order and within 30-45 mins we all had our food. Wow the 3 dishes were very filling me and my daughter shared the cheesey chios then she had the chicken bites which were nuggets and I had the chicken strips. The cheesey chips were the nicest I have ever had. The food were spot on thank you for the great service and food highly recommended

Been in this establishment many times when on holiday in Scarborough. It's a JD Witherspoon pub so Beers and Lager are exceptional value for money. Always a busy pub and as a result not that comfortable. Food a bit hit and miss, but good value for your money.

Went there yesterday with my older brother we had curry and San Miguel and a 🍷 for my birthday 👍

It's exactly what you'd expect from a Wetherspoons. We nipped in for a drink and cookie dough desserts while waiting for the numer 12 coastal bus that only runs 1 an hour. The drinks are reasonably priced. Staff were very nice but we had to wait at the bar to be served both times and the tables were dirty when we arrived. They were not the only tables that needed cleaning as well. Like I said though - exactly what you expect from a Spoons so we didn't go in there expecting anything else. You know what you are getting and you always get the same.

Very large pub with an upstairs floor, a lot of wood decor. Bar was busy and had to wait a little to be served. Prices are very good on drinks, never ordered any food, staff friendly!

Íbamos a SJT en Scarborough, y esperábamos cenar en el teatro. Nos ofrecieron 5. 15 . Así que fue Weatherspoons. Un gran edificio precioso, muy ocupado, pero logramos conseguir una mesa, que estaba limpia. Pedí Burger y yo teníamos Curry. Muy agradable camarero trajo comida en 8 minutos. La hamburguesa era excelente, Curry era muy bueno, el pollo definitivamente era pollo. El pan Nam había visto días mejores, PERO esto no es una casa de Curry. La gente que se queja debe recordar, esto es esencialmente un pub con comida. Gran cerveza y gran valor. Sin duda volveremos a visitar

I'm always surprised at value of the bar prices and quality of the meals.

What I particularly like about the Lord Roseberry is that it is open for an hour later as I prefer to eat my food later. I ordered my meal at 22:45 and it arrived within 10 mins. The staff were pleasant and accommodating and the venue is worth a visit.
