The best restaurants in Reeth and Arkengarthdale Richmondshire Yorkshire and The Humber

We had the White House recommended by some local people Lovely place, food and very friendly service, can’t fault anything whatsoever here!

First time visiting, we wish we’d been here before, what a place! Fantastic breakfasts, top quality ingredients and really friendly service. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately very little was available. Couldn't order simple scrambled egg on toast as past breakfast time. Instead had to order fried egg in a bap as that was on the menu. Only white bap available which was soft and unappetising - no redeeming salad so very disappointing. On the up side staff very pleasant . .

We have used Hurst Tiger regularly ever since it opened. The quality has always been high and it is consistent from take out to take out. Always our curry house of choice. They started delivery after a while which means we don't look anywhere else.

Rooms basic, decor tired. For dinner we ordered Burger and Fish. Fish was good; Burger was terrible...patty a frozen one defrosted on site. No care. Good luck to them

This is the ideal place to come to if you want a perfect lunch, that's appetising, well presented, delicious to eat and filling.

This is my go to Restaurant in the Dales , the restaurant is decorated lovely , the ambiance is superb . We took out two dogs in the bar and they were made a fuss of by the waiting staff , We had the lunch menu , I had the Ox Cheek and it was the best meal of the holiday . Will always come back to this restaurant whenever we come back to the dales

Excellent food and top service. Would strongly recommend. Always great to find a pub that makes eating and drinking out so easy.

A mid week lunch visit saw us choosing the sandwich and cup of soup options. Superb choice of fillings; the goats cheese was scrumptious. We were served by Richard who was welcoming, friendly and very efficient. We have been served by him previously at the sister pub, the Punchbowl and he always is first class. A credit to both pubs.

Decided to go here having missed out on lunch earlier and it was very nearly closing time. The food and drinks were were great, the owners/staff were friendly and welcoming and it’s a fabulous setting, especially at the outside tables. Good value too
