The best restaurants in Brigg and Wolds North Lincolnshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Booked a near by restaurant for a friends 40th and an hour before the booking they cancelled it . Ended up messaging yellow belly’s who booked us in and we went and had loads of different pizzas and cocktails and they were honestly amazing . Staff were great and prices even better . 1 niggle was they’d only just opened so the place was freezing but I’m sure it soon warms up . Will defo be back . Thank you for a better evening than we had planned .

Lovely food. We eat them regularly. Food is always ready when we collect it, warm, big portions and VERY, VERY tasty. My favourite take away in Bridgend.

Having only lived in Brigg for 3 months ,I can be forgiven for not knowing about Siam Smile. What a wonderful discovery! Went on Thursday lunchtime with a friend. The place is a typical, old fashioned pub, but the food is very definitely NOT pub food. It is amazingly authentic Thai food, cooked freshly to order . Amazing value at £10 for 2 courses plus a bottle of beer. The English food looked equally delicious. Will definitely be returning.

First time ordering a takeaway and we will definitely be coming back. The food was very well packed with salad and sauces separate. The lamb and chicken were beautifully cooked and served with great flatbreads. The pizza was really tasty. Fabulous takeaway!

Spot on breakfast this morning. Hot, quality produce and good value for money. What more do you want? Will definitely return.

Came upon this little gem last Saturday could not recommend this place enough the welcome was warm and friendly the food was freshly cooked and of a high quality and served on warm plates the home made puddings/cakes which you can take out were second to none I cannot recommend this cafe enough the best breakfast I have eaten out Wayne of Hessle

We came for food, the place we were going to go was closed so we came here on a whim. Food was really delicious and well priced. Will definitely come back!

Have been many times and always had a great meal. Decided to try it for Christmas Day Lunch. Came away feeling a bit disappointed and rushed. We were seated quickly and at a nice table. We were hoping that favourites such as Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken would be available but it was Chicken or Lamb, Mild, Medium or Hot. We chose a mild and hot chicken dish and a medium lamb dish. As soon as we placed our mains order the starter arrived, no choice, everyone got the same. It was pretty good to be fair but at this point it seemed clear that the restaurant’s priority was getting people through quickly as opposed to letting them have a relaxing Christmas Day lunch. We were not asked if we wanted poppadums, which seemed odd. For us this is a huge part of an Indian meal. We looked around and saw that only one table had them. We asked and received some. We did say we wanted them before our mains arrived but everything came together. Again, it just seemed that a decision had been made in advance not to offer poppadums so that they could speed up the time everyone would take for lunch. They clearly had more bookings arriving and tables were being relaid. The mains were bang average to be honest. The mild chicken dish and medium lamb dish were both bland. The hot chicken dish had a kick but overall it was not great. They were all just meat in a clear gravy. Something in a nice creamy sauce would have been appreciated. Dessert was ok, bought in cheesecake, profiteroles etc. There was an Indian fruit salad, the name of which I forget. The first 2 members of staff we asked did not know what was in it so someone had to go and ask in the kitchen. You would think this would have been briefed to the team before service. I asked if they did Flat White coffee and was assured they did. I received a coffee with milk. We went along expecting to be there for 2 hours plus, enjoying a few different courses and a good selection of Indian classics. We were back in the car within 90 minutes, feeling underwhelmed. At just less than £180 in total this was not an insignificant cost. I’m sure we’ll go back but not for Christmas Day Lunch, unless they rethink their approach away from rushing people through to ensuring everyone can relax and enjoy a few tried and tested favourite dishes.

I recently visited this beautiful coffee shop whilst visiting a friend. What a suprise when i went inside. It has been designed with loads of tasteful querky pieces. The food is fantastic all cooked fresh and the cakes WOW..clearly home made with lots of love....

A lovely cup of tea and a slice of Bakewell. The first of my annual challenge of 52 new tea rooms/coffee shops to visit in 2025. I live locally but had never been here. I will be back!

I drive up to Brigg regularly to visit Parents. I have tried various Fish & Chips shops in and around Brigg, I can honestly say this little "GEM" of a takeaway and sit down restaurant is by far the best around. I have Haddock,chips, peas and curry sauce. Fantastic. Portion size is very good. Crispiest battery I've had in a long time.Staff are very nice too. I would highly recommend to anyone if in the area. Be aware it is cash only or pre-book on the App.

Great place for light bites or just coffee.
