Well cooked and presented haddock and chips. Good value for money. Service very Friendly and helpful. Large portion, buttered roll and tea £17.

As retired Grimsby fish merchants we are always looking for a good place for fish and chips. These were excellent, the best we have had in a very long time and we try alot of places. On top of that the young man, who has been there for 20 years, who cooked and served us was so friendly and delightful and helped my husband who is now disabled. As we discussed it's not enough to have a good fish supplier (which we know he has) if the fish (and chips) aren't cooked correctly. I cant praise them enough, such a wonderful experience.

Called into Scalinis,for lunch, had small fish & chips & peas,pot of tea! Was cooked fresh whilst I waited & was really delicious! Very nice welcome & service.Will definitly call again. Thank you.

Popped into Scalini Brigg on market day, was a miserable damp day however our Fish and Chips plus coffee brightened our day. Absolutely fabulous, cooked from scratch and service was superb. Thankyou so much and we will call again plus recommend you guys to our friends and neighbours.

We’re in the area again and as most places are closed on Tuesday we made a bee line for Scalini’s. We’d had Gluten- free fish and chips here on a previous visit and they did not disappoint. They were exceptional. Beautifully moist and tender fish inside the lightest and tastiest batter and chips which were soft inside and sealed and just the right amount of crispness on the outside ; whether it’s gluten free or normal. The care taken in preparing the fish and chips for us was exquisite; engendering absolute confidence. For someone who HAS to eat gluten free- that’s essential and I appreciate it fully. My husband doesn’t need to eat GF but he commented that these were the best fish and chips ( and for him, mushy peas) he had eaten for a long time. Thank you very much Scallini family. We will be back in the area and again we will visit you for the best fish and chips.

Was working in cleethorpes working late but had to go to hibaldstow to pick some tools I bough off market place my wife has to drive me as I have a brain tumour so on the way back we stopped in Brigg and tried 2 bags chips and one large curry everything was spot on chips very fresh lol far to many curry was lovely and in my option an honest guy trying to make a living well worth a visit ps the owner is a people person happy to have a conversation but in my option can tell when someone just needs to get on very happy customer

My first time trying the food from Scallini's. The lady serving, who I assume is the owner, was lovely. The food is cooked to order so took a few minutes which is absolutely fine. Whilst waiting we were chatting, a genuinely friendly lady. It was obvious that my custom was appreciated and I felt valued as a customer. I enjoyed my haddock and chips very much, perfectly cooked and a huge portion. I'll definitely be back, I highly recommend 😊

when we arrived we told to eat only in the downstairs cafe, I asked if possible to eat upstairs in the restraunt but was informed that it would benefit the business if we could eat downstairs where the friers are. Should have walked then. It was very noisy and there was the usual football on the telly. Smell of hot fat etc. After the meal which I found dry, I went upstairs to the toilet and noticed that there was a waiter up there reading a paper and no customers. I believe this excersice was only to make the place look fuller. PS been going there for a few years and everytime I order fish and chips and no peas I always get peas. When I pointed this out she said would I like curry or gravy, I said no just fish and chips. My wife is not happy with my review but does agree with me about being forced to sit downstairs, as I said to her if I dont say anything nothing will get done. We got fish and chips peas and my uncle from Scotland was very impressed with the quality of the food. It was fresh crispy and delicious. It is always clean and tidy so excellent premises. It was so good that my uncle went back to get fish and peas the next night.

Without a doubt Scalinis Wrawby Street Brigg the best local chippy. Fish lightly battered, lovely and crisp. Chips, mushy peas and curry sauce just perfect.Anthy and Stavros are the perfect hosts for fish N chips in a spotlessly clean setting.

We found this super little fish and chip shop take away cum cafe/ restaurant just by chance when searching google maps. The reviews were excellent so we thought we’d give it a try and we were not disappointed.

What a treat!! I phoned to ask if they could offer gluten free food and they explained exactly how they made sure they was no contamination.

From the sea food platter, to the large haddock special: we tried it all (well a wide selection anyway). Sitting in the upper floor of the restaurant was pleasant, having a nice decor and comfortable seats. The table was large enough for the number of seats around it, meaning that I wasn't rubbing elbows with the people next to me.

What a fabulous and friendly restaurant, the staff are so welcoming. The shop was spotless and clean. Their food is outstanding, I thoroughly recommend the Seafood Platter, it has to be the best calamari I have ever tasted, the batter was cooked to perfection. We were there to celebrate my mum's birthday and they brought her out a piece of cake with a candle on it. We were all moved by their generosity. If you're looking for somewhere to eat, look no further than Scalini's.

We had fish and chips here today on the 12th July 2019 they took a bit of time to be cooked but it was worth the wait, the cod was very hot and plenty of it and the batter was lovely and as for the chips they were very nice . The best fish and chips yet , I forgot to take a picture as I had just done the walk along the river and was hungry .

This is the second time we have visited here and the food is of the highest quality the staff are friendly and the service is excellent, there is not much more to say but you wont be disappointed !!!!

Rather than eat at the place where I was staying (see other review, coming soon.. ) I opted for here after viewing Tripadvisor. I wasn’t disappointed, friendly welcome from owners and freshly cooked Haddock to order. It was the end of the day but there was still chat to be had from owners and fresh cooked fish to order.

I visit Scalini's often but just recently they have done a lot of work to renovate and improve. Best in Brigg by far.

Scalini's has been closed for 3 months because of a fire. I decided to try it again as I had been some time ago.

Went for lunch with family, food was very good especially homemade fishcakes and sausages. Very accommodating for my disabled nana. Staff and service was excellent and very clean place.

We found this restaurant completely by chance and feel really lucky to have done so.The staff were phenomenal,courteous friendly without familiarity and helpful.The restaurant had gone through a recent update and was a pleasant place to be.The food was very good, freshly cooked,hot [unlike so many other fish restaurants I have sampled] and the portions were ample.To top it off on leaving the young man who cooked our food escorted me from my seat and opened the door for me and exchanged pleasantries.Needless to say we will return
