Lovely chippy plenty of choice lovely pleasant staff the pies are amazing fresh from the butchers no processed rubbish. A good proper old fashioned chippy with proper chippy food not one that does everything under one roof. A chippy as chippies used to be. Only thing they were missing was newspaper. Amazing tasting food

Has to be the worst fish and chips in Scunthorpe. Place needs a good clean and redecoration. Cooking quality is poor. Needs new owners....

Hoping for a good chippy but quite disappointed. Fish batter very greasy and a very small portion (didn’t ask for small) chips dry and some were hollow as though reheated. Really sorry but it’s an honest review.

Passed through Keadby on our boat on a Friday. Gotta have fish and chips on a Friday and these were very tasty. Cooked to order so piping hot. Great chippy.

What a chippy! Like chips used to be when I was a kid. Only working in the area unfortunately. I would say they should set up a franchise but that would ruin a small great village chip shop.

Traditional looking fish and chip shop inside. Nice staff. Breaded fishcake well cooked and crispy on the outside, not soft of flabby. Perfectly cooked chips and mushy peas. Great value. Would recommend. 7.5/10 according to my rating system (anything 7+ is good)

Pleasant staff, fish cooked while u wait, how I like it, but masks need to be imposed, too many people saying exempt! Ask them where Dr's note is!!!

Go to the country music club here every Wednesday, MALC and Karen run the country club and are lovely people

I used to live in this area and McDonald's was a favourite. The old couple that ran it really did know how to use the fryer and made excellent fish and chips. On return to the area I hankered after the taste from memory and popped in. Mr & Mrs McDonald must have retired (well earned I would guess). In place were a young man and lady who were pleasant enough. However, what I was served was a real disappointment. I should have twigged when asking for Haddock I was told they only had some without the skin! The batter and chips were had muddy brown tinge - suggesting the oil in the fryer needed changing and sure enough the chips had the bitter after taste of old oil. The fish had another problem on top. Discarding the batter the fish looked OK and the colour and texture appeared fine. The taste however was really odd. It wasn't 'off', just weird. I have been trying to think of a word to describe it and the nearest I can come up with is 'soapy'. I couldn't eat it at all. And in the end I threw away most of the chips too. Overall, a real disappointment and a sad testament to the original owners. I have no desire to return. Any fryer that continues to use oil which is plainly and visibly in need to replacement really doesn't care enough to deserve my custom.

This is chippy is on our doorstep so is very convenient, the staff are really very nice! I love the chips and portion sizes, my only negative is I’m not keen on the batter or how it’s cooked? I’m not sure....it’s just different to what we’re used to however we still eat it so it’s not that bad 😁 seriously, we enjoy our treats from here and will continue to return.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it has honestly not changed much, I mean, at all! The food has always been decent but never superb, but it is always cooked fresh and served in a timely manner as you would expect. I usually have a pie and chips with gravy but I have had the fish and have no complaints at all.

Have used this fish and chip shop on a few occasions when working late on a Friday night in the village. Staff always chatty, polite and friendly. The orders have always been cooked fresh and have been lovely and tasty

Not worth bothering again, poor service and quality, much better to travel a few miles for far better! Wont be bothering again
