Food was lovely, as always, but unfortunately a portion of chips were missing from the order! :-(

We had a takeaway. Good quality and good service. It's a little pricey, but it's the sign of the times

Terrible Service again from a young female server As I walked in the was empty apart from one person. I stood at the counter for 4 minute until i got acknowledged by the young girl. As i was waiting she was slagging a different customer off to the owner in ref to an order. She then said what do you want, i said cod and chips and mushy peas. At this point she went around the back of the shop as she picked up a box from inside the warmer that another customer had left I overheard her say cam we give him this one. He said yes. Just as they wanted me to have this that someone had left. I replied I want my money back and it was refunded. The young workers are not good for the business and the training they have must not be good.

Came here only because they advertise "breakfast" , did not want to cook breakfast so ordered something else. Food is very fat,feel discomfort on my stomach. That menu book look horrible. Only good thing is - they accept card payment . I feel sad for that worker girl,she have to work so fast 🥲

I ordered two large haddock. One was large and the second was half the size and mostly batter. The chips and curry sauce were nice though. The service was painful. The girls were really good but it was as off they were only allowed to cook one portion of chips at any one time and with a lot of people waiting already, the wait was painful...... I know you don't want waste but common sense should prevail and if you've got 6 people waiting and delivery orders and pick ups coming in then have a reasonable amount ready to serve so people don't have to wait 20 minutes for you to cook

Good never came no tracking do not order form here waited a hour for it to not come

Over an hour late. No apology, refused partial refund. Generally couldn't have cared less. Food barely warm after being driven around for over 30 minutes.

Been ordering from Oceans for quite a while and have left good reviews in the past. However service and quality have been deteriorating. This time, the order was delivered over an hour after initial estimate. I called to request a refund literally a moment before the driver eventually arrived. The shop called back and left a message merely saying “you asked for a refund but accepted delivery”. No apology. Customer service non-existent. Food unremarkable. Such a shame. Quick update … response from restaurant … “The restaurant isn't going to give you any money back for your delayed order. They say: "We're really sorry your order wasn't delivered on time. The driver was stuck in heavy traffic, sorry." “Heavy traffic” between Epworth and our village that’s beyond unbelievably ridiculous!!!

Delivery was later than originally scheduled by 1:10. Several updates to time thru app. Don’t understand why this could not have been handled better and more accurately estimated. No apologies for the driver.

Prices are a bit high in my opinion, £1 for a single egg, 50p for ketchup seems a bit excessive. Overall breakfast items were ok, bread a bit dry but wrap was lovely and soft.

The food we ordered was absolutely delicious and piping hot ,first class service.

Late delivery which can’t always be helped but the food arrived an hour and 20 minutes later than the time we chose for delivery. Food wasn’t quite hot. Kebab meat wasn’t the best, fish okay and chips were slightly rubbery. Overall and for £21.00 with delivery, not really happy.

Meaty, flaky cod and fantastic crispy batter. Highly recommended.

Just to say it was nice and hot and fresh I really enjoyed it and I will be ordering again the only one thing is I wasn't impressed with is the driver he wasn't polite at all today it was a bit down in the dumps it would be nice even if he's down in the dumps that he was nice to the customer

Ordered food last night over an hour late dripping with grease and cold. Throwing up this morning so looks like food poisoning aswell dirty place need shutting down. I cant add a reply so I will on the end of here WE WERE ILL AFTER EATING YOUR DIRTY FOOD MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL NEVER EAT AT YOUR RAT INFESTED DUMP AGAIN DISGUSTING

Just to say that jacket potato I had for my tea with baked beans and cheese were absolutely lovely and hot and our son had double cheeseburger he enjoyed It too, we both enjoyed the chocolate cake and really enjoyable the driver is polite ,Pleasant, smiley and friendly and always gets the delivery on time.

Spot on! I last ordered from here about 6 months ago and the food was amazing. Clearly this wasn't a 1 time miracle, yet another order this busy weekend made me truly believe this is the best chippy on the isle shown by their achievement of the 'Prestige Award 2022 South Yorkshire'. Fish was absolute perfection, light and crispy batter and suculent cod in the centre. The young staff were very polite and friendly even at the busiest times. Oceans 52 can count on my business for years to come.

Amazing chippy, I’ve been to many all over north Lincolnshire and I have never been to one where I have enjoyed the food so much, my partner and I ordered online to collect and when arrived our food had already been prepared and was ready for us, it just needed bagging which was perfect to say they looked busy when we arrived. Great food served by helpful cheerful staff! Lovely, lovely food, will definitely be ordering again. Well done to you all x

Amazing stuff! Lots of variety on the menu- tried the chicken curry and mossala goujons from the Indian selection and the flavour and spices were spot on.

Brilliant food and service! I ordered food from here for delivery on Saturday evening and although they were extremely busy, my food was clearly very fresh and amazing as ever. My food was delivered within the delivery time frame and the driver was very friendly like usual. I will definitely be coming here for years to come.

I had chicken and chips with gravy and it was very nice and i will be ordering again from there cause it was nice and fresh, our son had chips and sausage with gravy and enjoyed it. Just to say that the driver is very friendly and fall of smile.

It was nice and hot on time fresh enjoyable I would order there again the fish and chips our son had some chips and that was lovely too and hot.

The haddock was cocked to perfection it was nice and moist and the delivery was bang on time Would highly recommend

Just to say it was lovely and hot and it nice and fresh, the fish i was out standing cause i have not had a fish not lot of better on it. Our son enjoyed his chickens nuggets, chip and pea . The driver was nice,friendly and out go person.

I will not be ordering from here again after trying three times. The first 2 orders were average food and the drinks were missed off both visits. This time my order was not prepared or even noticed for my pick up time despite ordering a good hour before. The food was then rushed and the kebab wrap I received was disgusting, cold and stale/hard, the dog ended up eating it. I hope a good quality takeaway food outlet opens in Epworth for lunch times soon.

Staff confused and overwhelmed. Food being kept warm too long, whilst I was waiting in the shop, barely edible by the time it was handed to me.

Came in this Friday and it was rather busy but the young staff managed really well and I just wanted to say that you are all doing amazing especially on such busy days, I’ve been ordering from here for the past year now and I have never had a bad meal from here, from burgers, to the fish/ homemade fishcakes and the scampi wraps which are all my personal favourites everything I’ve ever ordered from oceans has been beautifully cooked and all fresh to order, so nothing is sat waiting for a customer to claim. Well done to the team, I will see you next Friday . Lovely food always

Absolutely amazing! I have now been coming to this chippy for years and they never disappoint. Not only do they serve the best fish and chips around, they offer a huge variety of different items including Indian dishes which are all homemade and delicious. And to top it off, the staff are very friendly and helpful even at the busiest times, including the owner who is always open to questions.

Just been. Very lovely tasting chips. And helpful when I asked about Gluton free products. Food taste great. Service very good, second time we have been. Will come again From scunthorpe. Well worth it Karin & Harry

A proper gem this one, called in one tea time cos my son told me there was a chippy in Epworth which I hadn’t realised and the amount of time I’ve passed through this place! Anyway had fish chips and curry sauce for my tea sat in car and had them what can I say fresh hot and fantastic quality being honest I’m a bit of a chippy expert and this one as gone right in my top 10 for sure, proof of the pudding was consistency, stopped for my lunch I think yesterday had the same my favourite fish chips and curry again first class could not fault it, I’m a Manchester lad so know me chippies and what a good one looks like, for sure absolutely deserving of my glowing review, I shall absolutely be a regular now, these guys deserve all the success they can muster first class products first class quality first class service that’s it they’ve cracked it Paul C

If Carling cooked these fish and chips, they would still be second best.Trust me, once you get the still piping hot chips, the well cooked, moist fish and anything else you might order, you will never order your food from anywhere else. 10/10 oh and the delivery guy is always smiling and has a few words to say.

Wow, wow and thrice wow! Is there a more superior Fish & Chip outlet anywhere at all in our region? I very much doubt it. The order arrived piping hot. The fish was cooked to perfection, the chips were real chips, cooked with enough attention to have them slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.My last review bemoaned the delay in getting my order - that was my only complaint. This time I simply cannot fault anything and Ocean 52 can rely on my patronage on a regular basis from now on. 10/10 and thank you to all involved.

First time ordering from Oceans 52 and I will best describe it as a polarised experience! Pre ordered @5.40 this evening for delivery @ 7 p.m. - our food arrived @7.55 p.m.but driver offered apology due to Oceans 52 being very busy! That was the bad side. However, oh my, was the wait worth it. Everything tasted fantastic, the chips were chunky, the mushy peas, er mushy but the Cod was as well cooked as I can ever remember a cod being. The batter was crisp and the cod moist and trust me, that takes some doing. If the order had arrived on time, or even a few minutes late I would have said 10/10 - but 9/10 it is ;-)

I will never use this chip shop again, they are absolutely useless, they have terrible staff that don’t know what they are doing, they never have anything ready and they take your money and do not fulfill the order. I have lived in Epworth for years and used this chip shop but when it burned down and was re done and sold it was obviously sold to people who have no idea how to run a business or a chip shop. We now travel to Misterton to get our fish and chips.

It was okay, ordered it cause I was craving it, however the chips were abit funny looking/tasting and the sausage was pale, the fishcake was okay but layered?, not mashed together which I found abit strange, can’t fault the gravy tho, absolutely love the stuff!

Ordered £30 worth of food at 6.30pm as much as the app kept updating… just eat… we received our order at9pm,ridiculous when we live in Belton. Family ordered from here a few times,no complaints… just poured absolutely freezing cold curry sauce over my food,not impressed,totally ruined and another guest said it was the worst mixed meat,sauce and chips they’d ever consumed… Belton better. Disappointed isn’t the word and won’t be ordering or recommending again… thanks but No thanks.

Our third time coming here in a year or two. As with every previous experience, the service was terrible. Good mediocre.

Even though it was nearly an hour late, the food was still good quality. The delivery driver explained that due to an event in Epworth, the chip shop was more busy than a usual Saturday night.

Have ordered from here once before and once again the food was outstanding. I also received a courtesy call regarding my order whereupon I received exceptional customer service.
