The best restaurants in Haverstoe North East Lincolnshire Yorkshire and The Humber

This Restaurant Deli, is for the healthy eater. It hasn't been open long, so it is new on the Cleethorpes eating scene. It is part of a large complex, featuring the Cinema, Gym and the usual fast food outlets. The beach is quite close. The menu consists of, Breakfast options, Build your own, were you can mix and match, and a Set Menu. All Menu items are sub-divided into, Protein - Carbs - Fats - Toppings. The Menu tells you the exact amounts you are consuming of the above, so you know exactly what you are putting into your body. So if you are on a slimming plan or a fitness regime, this is really great for you. But..... I am none of the above, i visited with my wife and son. My son is on a healthy eating program. I found the food delicious, cooked perfectly and reasonably priced. I had a steak burger, baked potato, green beans and a delicious topping. I followed the meal with the most tasty, High Protein based Smoothie, Raspberry and white chocolate, It was the best smoothie I have ever had. I noticed that a family with a small child and they appeared to enjoy the menu as well. No chips, but sweet potato slices, my wife loved them. I don't like sweet potato's, but i tried one and to my surprise i liked it. We had our meal outside, but there is tables inside. I parked my car in the huge Cinema car park, nearby. The owner is a really great lad and could not do enough for you. He is also a trainer at a gym, next door. The restaurant Deli, has 5 stars on face book, with nearly 4,000 reviews, at the time of writing this. I think i need to say that i am 71 years old, with a healthy appetite. I left feeling that i had, had enough to eat, without feeling stuffed. The Restaurant Deli, does takeaway and delivery service. This Restaurant Deli is different and i will be visiting again.

Superb chippy! We had a family over & decided to have fish & chips before Christmas, all well enjoyed. The curry & gravy was soo delicious as well!

Christmas lunch at the Kingsway with three generations of the family . Quite a challenge to satisfy all tastes but this was achieved with no complaints . Warmly greeted on arrival with a most imaginative menu to suit all tastes including those who want more than traditional fare . The food and service were excellent . It was particularly noticeable that most of the staff were regulars which helped the service go like a well oiled machine . Clearly considerable thought went into the planning of the day , with the objective of ensuring all guests enjoyed the occasion . A most successful , memorable day , and for that ALL the Kingsway staff involved should be congratulated . Well done and thank you !

Had a great meal from this takeaway. Large Portions and very good value. Would recommend especially Crispy Beef , Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Fried Rice.

Danny, Andy & Will a great new team, we haven’t been for a while & it did not disappoint. Very tasty carvery & lovely staff. As a family we have enjoyed our food & the kids cleared their plates.

Food was great, it was cooked very well and service was quick. The waitress I had called Evie was splendid and did everything she could to make it as enjoyable as possible. Overall a great experience, would recommend

WOW JUST WOW 😀 I never leave reviews but after tonight I am going to if places treat us like this. From walking in the staff was sooo friendly. My daughter was eager to see Santa and we ended being the first ones there. The got colouring for my daughter, gave a letter to fill in and post to Santa the elf's came over and talked to her and did some colouring with my daughter. She played games and the present from Santa was awesome to top it of she got an ice cream afterwards. We had to leave early because we was on to our next Christmas event of the evening. But I would like to say the helm is a fantastic place, great food and definitely family friendly. I just want to say thank you all for a great night we definitely will be back

Tasty mix kebab with all the trimmings doner meat is nice and tasty as well. Also get a vegetarian pizza which is very tasty as well

Having walked from the pier to the far end of the sea walk we were coming back around lunch time and this seemed a good place to stop. They were doing all sorts of hot snacks which sited well. We were able to sit inside out of the cold too.

This place is so good for going if you’re needing to stop for something to eat ! There is this really really nice man called Jogger I think it is he’s Indian and I’m not sure if that was his name , but he was a really really nice man ! He had a nice conversation with us and we had a great time talking to him, he deserves a promotion or something he’s the kindest man we had ever been served by at the fish shop ! They did good hiring him !

On arrival the place looks very appealing and an extensive menu ( not cheap ) Unfortunately the quality of the food is not the best , which would not reflect the prices as its not the cheapest. Bread was cheap , eggs were watery The staff are not the friendliest either. We had a sickness bug the same night and I wasn't sure if it came from the same place ( I visited with my sister and 18 month old ) Anyway a week later I returned with my partner and dog just had a cake and drink. The same night and day after we both had a dodgy stomach and I'm wondering if it's from the same cafe ? I'm not 100% sure but I won't visit again now
