New China in North East Lincolnshire

Very rude on reception, when we asked for a delivery meal and told them where it is they said they don't do delivery there and we are less than 3 miles away

Excellent food great variety of food. Very helpful and obliging, we have had many meals delivered quality is always superb well done

Good food - quick collection time - staff polite and will visit again - nicely packaged up and food was still warm when I got it home

Second time I have orded from here and either I have food missed off the order or wrong order they need to have better people taking the calls who are listening to your order. Won't be going again.

The beef in tomato sauce was beef in soup, the beef chowmain was dreary, the special fried rice was anything but special and they left an egg fried rice of the order...I never leave reviews and this was so bad that I felt it was time to do so, all in all, this was probably the worst Chinese food that I have ever experienced. Never again and it cost £46 for the experience.

Food is lovely but both the young girls that work behind the counter could do with a lesson or several in how to be polite. Been in mutiple times and everytime the same attitude.

Trying to ring to order. Waste of time. Need food for 8 + obviously not interested will look elsewhere.

The food was lovely and hot this time sometimes food can be cold on this occasion it was hot and the food was lovely will definitely order again.

Placed my order but the woman taking the order was so rude I asked for my money back and went for fish and chips.

We were staying on the Beachcomber site and decided on Chinese for tea. The New China takeaway is less than a 5 minute drive. The meals that we ordered were delicious. We unanimously decided that these were the nicest Chinese meals that we have eaten. Very highly recommended.

meal for 3 delivered to thorpe park last night. took 13 minutes from call to delivery so definetly not cooked fresh. all meals were awfull barely no chicken in any of them was all sauce peas an onions. foo yung i had was tasteless the egg. have had meals b4 when staying at thorpe park from here an was ok but not last night all was bad. would get no points if was possible.

Excellent food, one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had. They need to get rid of the girl that was working behind the counter taking the orders. Miserable face, zero personality. No good for a customer facing job. Would’ve been 5 stars if wasn’t for her!

This place was 5 minutes in a car outside of Haven. Food was absolutely amazing...

Food ok, nothing spectacular,chow mein noodles were very dry and rubbery, special curry was decent with entry of meat in it,rice was fine, chicken and sweetcorn soup was very thin and watery with very little chicken in it,nothing like the soup should be.very quick device,which could be the reason why the chow mein was rubbery,not cooked enough.

Only moved to Humberston 4 week ago but have now used New China several times and have to say it is the best Chinese takeaway food I have ever had. Had several things from the menu and every one of them were superb

Ordered crispy duck. There was hardly any duck - it was supposed to be a third of a duck - it didn't even fill 4 pancakes. Don't waste your money.

We ordered for collection whilst staying at Thorpe Park. We didn’t get anything fancy, just chicken balls, rice, chips and chow mein. I don’t have sauces and found my meal to be delicious - especially the chips 😋 Everyone else doused their plates in sauces and instantly regretted it when they realised they were more like congealed jelly than sauce... I also wouldn’t bother with the prawn crackers 😁 Would order from here again, though.

Great Chinese takeaway , the soups are not too salty and the food was great and there was lots of it for the money.... We had a chicken curry which was great large bits of chicken in a nice rich spicy sauce...we also had a couple of chow mein's both were superb ..some of the best I've had and very filling ..and I'm a fat bloke who likes good food...we ordered and took our food in person so can't comment on the delivery service ...I'd go back without hesitation.

Best Chinese I've ever had! Ordered beef curry, chicken curry, salt n pepper chicken and a chow mein and everyone agreed they were all brilliant. Being from Scotland it was a bit weird seeing peas in the curries, but apparently it's a normal thing down here in englandshire. 10/10 from this bear

My usual takeaway was closed.. so a great excuse to be 'not loyal' for once! No online menu.. so had to describe roughly what we wanted! But the lady on the phone was really helpful! Sweet and sour chicken/prawn balls. Crispy, fully cooked batter, tender insides and the sauce was really tasty. Not at all greasy.. despite being fried. Excellent. Not brightly coloured like some.. and a good thick consistency. Shreaded beef in a hot and sweet sauce was amazing! Spicy and sweet. The more you ate.. the more your tastebuds came alive! Quite an after-kick! Chicken fried rice was quite a plain dish in comparison.. but still had a good, clean and fresh taste. Usual few peas scattered amongst the rice and generous amounts of sliced chicken. Vegetable curry was our final main. Stir fried charred flavour, with a good range of veg. Curry sauce mild flavour and not too salty. Perfect. Side of chips.. great.. cooked to perfection. Outside crisp.. inside soft and fluffy. (They are the usual frozen variety though.) Good to see they weren't pre salted. Many places now do that which isn't great. Had a vegetable/spring roll as an extra treat. It was one of those huge ones! The filo outside was thin and crunchy - as expected! And also non greasy. The inside was simply lots and lots of bean sprouts. Nothing else. Wasn't the most exciting or tasty of rolls! But mixed with the various dishes before.. it was fine. Free prawn crackers included. They were nice and light, and like the rest of the food.. not greasy! Fab. Delivery was fast. Unfortunately the driver had used up their change on a previous customer.. so they got a healthy £3+ tip! (Mind you.. would have given a couple of quid anyway!) The delivery lady was really friendly.. very pleasant manner.. great service from the initial phone call to delivery. The food was clean, freshly made and included many veg. Carrot, onion, green peppars to name but a few. I will order again... and must call in to pick up a menu!

Had a delivery to Thorp Park and the food was delivered speedily and was absolutely first rate. We will definitely be using this place again!

Bought two takeaway meals as in a rush, meals were of acceptable quality. The Kung Po Chicken was not as spicy as other versions and the Mushroom Chow Mein was as expected.

Great takeaway. Curries are lovely, in fact all good. Have tried most on the menu. maybe a bit dearer than other places but worth paying that little extra. Delivery to Thorpe park / Beachcomber, not a problem.

OK not the cheapest Chinese Takeaway but food is good and above the cheaper ones around. Delivery is fast too and food always arrives hot. If fact my last order only took about 25 minutes to come to door. Have been using this particular takeaway now for well over 7 yrs and thought it time I gave a review in here as well as I did on yell ages ago..

Visit it this venue 3-4 times per month always satisfied with the food, staff are very friendly always clean and they deliver thank you well done.

Saturday night rang a order for 5persons , delivered on time and food was excellent we commented how good and fresh the meal was , we all enjoyed our meals and all chose differently , 5 excellent meals and free prawn crackers all freshly done and very tasty , very good rice and delicious ribs

We have not had a takeaway for years, so, when the need arose we came across this outlet. We were not disappointed.

I visit this venue nearly every week so feel i need to say the latest dish i am trying is the curry chicken, excellent thank you will call again tonight - this venue is well worth trying i have nothing bad to say.

Always good quality and service here in fact I will be going again tonight, what I do is have 2-3 dishes mix them up and save the left overs for the next day well worth will keep going thank you

Good chinese takeaway with each order cooked fresh. You can see the cook / chef cooking your food if you stand at the counter. This place gets very busy so that should speak volumes.

came here after a previous lovely visit last year but staff were obnoxious and didn't care partner asked for what he clearly wanted and she continued to ask the list of questions of what sauce he wanted (hed just told her) she was just blank and hadn't bothered trying to serve him at first either went round the back for a chat came out and said oh you want serving then. not impressed wont be coming back.

I have used this take away for several years and always impressed by the quality and high standards, I thought on this basis I would introduce them to trip advisor because they are good I visit the premises weekly sometimes daily thank you and well done for being always obliging.
