As usual, early delivery and good food.

Don’t wanna sound awful but that was possibly the worst Chinese I’ve ever had, salt and pepper chicken and chips was just onion and salt, no pepper in them, and all the food and sauce was just pure salt and MSG, no other flavour to the food at all, it was that unbearably salty all the food got binned in the end, and I love salty food usually but this was just overbearing, definitely won’t be ordering again from here

Very disappointed Ordered the special chow mein. Overcooked noodles and veg coated in thick black sludge. Soggy pancake roll. The only nice thing was the curry sauce and prawn crackers

This restaurant needs to dismiss whatever female was manning the phones in 30/12/2024 at 8pm. Her customer service skills are atrocious. We phoned to complain that we had waited over an hour and a half for food, for it all to arrive stone cold. She didn't even apologise and just said "what do you want me to do about it?". Complete disgrace. Food was awful. All had to be shoved in a microwave, a ready meal would be more sufficient then ordering from this state of a 'takeaway'.

Shocking delivery. Over two hours from order to door. Lack of drivers were the takeaways response. Comes to no surprise that the food was stone cold. Suffice to say we will not be using these again. Don’t waste your money, or your time.

Unfortunately the food was not the quality expected. The chicken said fried on the menu but was boiled processed meat with no taste and the satay sauce was so runny it was like watery green pepper & onion and chilli soup with a hint of nut! Prawn toast was thick and rubbery but the rice was fine. Very disappointed 😞

Food was 2hrs then sum missing so had to wait another 45 mins wait poor service wnt order from u again

Absolutely love this place, alway early alway piping hot and full of flavour, if you haven’t already try the gravy I’m obsessed

Only recently started ordering food from here but wouldn't go back to my previous takeaway. The food is delicious and not greasy at all and the delivery driver was very polite and friendly.

Had a menu popped through the Door so me and the Mrs had one last night We went for Sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style Beef chow ming Chicken foo young Bbq spare ribs Egg fried rice and chippo's Was delivered super quick and we both really enjoyed it This will now be our go-to chinese 🫡👍

Incredible place, lovely food, staff are so kind and talkative also quick with service. Our allergy dietary requirements were accommodated perfectly. Such a welcoming atmosphere.

Ordered for years but today was the worst .. chips came black and dried out. The dishes was below average and beleive me were not fussy . It wasn’t nice at all, things was very dry or overcooked. Shame as this used to be the best. Last order wasn’t the best but I thought maybe a one off. I hope it is just a case of a busy day and things maybe was rushed , as I’ve never had an issue till late.. is it the same owners

Over the years since 2002 I've had food from here. Food had always been top class until orianal owners left and passed over to other owners. Was deffo 10 out of 10 for food quality and flavour not recommended by me now. Disappointed as was best in area

This is the worst takeaway I have ever had. Thought we would try it after getting a menu through our door. It took over an hour to arrive ( on a Monday, evening) chips were advertised as fresh and in a large tray, what we really got was a small bag of sweets, cold overcooked chips. My mixed starter was squashed into one brown paper bag, theprawn toast was so thin ( very cheap bread) and cut into 4 quarters, dripping in grease. We had to play hunt the tiny shreds of chicken in the chew mein. The only positive was the friendly driver that apologised for the wait.

First time using this Chinese, very disappointed to say the least, ordered roast pork chow mein, tub consisted of watery bean sprouts and 5 bits of pork laid on top, tub only half full, a small bag of chips and 2 tubs of watery barbecue sauce, one of which had half spilt all over the bag and it's contents! Wasn't very hot either, won't be using again, absolutely shocking!

Wow must be the worst Chinese meal i'v had the main portion of Roast pork chow main in a small tub only 3 quarters full, the whole meal was cold on delivery, the chips were terrible soggy little things, an absolute joke of a Chinese meal, if I I'd give them no star rating, waste of money.

The atmosphere at chins garden was better than that of a football away end, however the food felt like a hate crime against my tastebuds. I ordered prawn crackers and received dismembered prawns inside cream crackers, when the food arrived (the next morning) the delivery driver told me sorry for the wait i got a flat tire so walked the rest of the journey. when i opened up the packaging the delivery driver had scoffed my food on his pilgrimage to my house, not happy but will be ordering again! 3/5

we had a meal missing, it's new year's eve so obviously busy, I contacted the restaurant and they sent me a replacement straight away. tasty Chinese too

Honestly I never believe reviews as my freind said its really nice it came the bag was open on top was chips carton open and curry not sealed all in bottom of bag I honestly think it had been gone at before it arrived all in the bin

Really disappointed with our meal. Delivered before time but definitely not worth the price. Paid over £40 for 5 dishes and some chips. The Szechwan beef was anaemic looking and lacked any flavour. It should be spicy but was definitely missing the chilli. Same as the salt and pepper ribs. Think the chilli was missing from the dish. We were recommended here but definitely will not be returning.

The chicken in our Kung Po Chicken was pink. Did not risk eating. Overall the food was luke warm on arrival. Wouldn't recommend.

It was late, not the main problem. It was also not very hot. Had to heat it up in the microwave. Not had this problem b4. Didn't think it would be so busy on Wednesday. I will order again, as food is usually great.

Food arrived a little cold. The soup in particular. The food was nice and good portions, just a shame as I would have expected it to be hot not luke warm at best.

Had a mixed grill for my birthday the other day and when I received it didn't look appealing at all. The gravy looked too dark and was poured all over my meat and the chips was small and hard. I didn't enjoy it at all. Won't be having anything from them again and it was the first time.

One of the best Chinese I've had. And I'm picky! Delicious chowmein, big crispy pancake roll and fantastic chips and the best curry sauce ever! Can't recommend enough!

I had to go and collect my food myself and was still charged delivery. Absolutely shocking. Had to ring and speak to someone that actually helped. But still had to go pick my own order up that I paid for delivery

I don’t usually write reviews or even believe when I read them, but for those that do, I ordered on Saturday night as my usual place wasn’t taking orders, and I must say farewell to my old place, this order was far more superior to the one I’d been having and I’m quite fussy with takeaway. Absolutely no complaints with the food, it was delivered half an hour earlier than the time in the app. All in all I am very impressed on this first occasion. Thankyou to the chef!

This was the first time we have ordered from here. The delivery on a Saturday evening took 2 hours in total and was half an hour late. The food tasted devine, the Kung Po King Prawn was fresh and delicious. The curry and Barbeque sauce were excellent. Would recommend ordering early if you have young mouths to feed. The take away is clearly popular. 5 star review for food 🙂 we will be returning customers.

Where do I start…firstly when the driver wasn’t sure of the location he called instead of driving round aimlessly making the food cold. The delivery was about 30 earlier then it said. Now to the food. I don’t say this lightly, but China garden may have the best chicken balls in the county…maybe even the world. All the food was hot & cooked to perfection. I’m now contemplating moving to the area just so I can have china garden more often. 10/10 doesn’t do China garden justice. All hail China gard
