The best restaurants in undefined Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

I am a bit biased by going here for over 41 years and not been let down yet. Has a lovely atmosphere. Now a sports bar with tv's visible throughout the 4 rooms. Car park to rear of building and for warmer weather a beer garden and children's play area. Good range of beers, spirits, wines and cocktails. Has new menu in place with range of meals. Literalmente tropecé con este lugar y el aroma que provenía de él nos hizo detenernos y pedir algunos sándwiches de desayuno. El menú tenía tanta variedad y los precios eran muy razonables. La señora que nos atendió fue muy amable e hizo nuestro sándwich exactamente como lo queríamos. Muy satisfecho con nuestro pedido y definitivamente regresaremos!

Weather was good so we were able to sit in the beer garden. Early doors on a Saturday evening, there was a good atmosphere with music playing (unless that was coming from the place higher up). Service was somewhat slow, didnt have time to drink a bottle of prosecco once it was our turn to get served. Not a bad half of Guinness though.

Best Chinese around with friendly staff, I have moved and still travel 30 mins to collect as I’ve never had a Chinese takeaway up and down the country that beats it. My personal recommendations would be chicken curry, roast pork and beansprouts, Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken, chicken and noodle soup, ribs and salt and pepper chicken/chips :)

Decent little pub. Was quite busy and the burger was good if not a little pricey. 👍

Had a takeaway, really easy to order online and was ready at the arranged time. Delicious food, plenty of meat free choices.

Visitamos antes y es un restaurante popular, pero después de nuestra comida familiar no volveremos a sintonizar. Mesa reservada para un cierto tiempo, sin embargo, tuvo que permanecer fuera de 20 minutos esperando debido a que no hay espacio dentro para esperar y muy estrecha. Muy ocupado y la comida que teníamos estaba... bien, pero un poco más caro para porciones pequeñas. Sentarse está muy cerca se siente como si estuviera compartiendo su comida con la mesa de al lado. Nuestra comida fue arruinada por la máquina de aire acondicionado constantemente soplando partículas de suciedad en nuestra mesa. Mencionamos al camarero que no parecía preocupado que acababa de regresar y apagarlo. En ese momento es posible que hayamos consumido arena con nuestras comidas y no hayamos terminado nuestras bebidas ya que había trozos flotando en los vasos. Señalamos esto y mostramos al camarero. ¡Nos hizo preguntarnos qué tan limpio estaba el restaurante, ya que también pisé un tenedor debajo de la mesa que no era nuestro! Decepcionante, lo único positivo que puedo decir es que la decoración es preciosa. Lamentablemente no volveremos.

Excellent service from Hannah, Izzy, Atul and Owen. They were all very pleasant, welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable too. We were made to feel special. The food was truly delicious and well presented. Would go again, without a doubt.

Service was excellent, loved the train .. but let down by the food, the 5 bean portion for breakfast, accompanied the smallest mushrooms ever, tasteless sausages and dry bacon…nothing like the photographs….quite why beans were so rationed, was beyond us, as the photograph showed a fair portion of beans.

First time I've ever used this takeaway and it will definitely be the last. How anybody can say its nice food is absolutely mental. Order to be told would be 45/50 mins 1hour later had to call to ask how long to be told its leaving now and hung up when the delivery woman not even a sorry that's it was late. Then asked for cheese on chips and curly fries as son doesn't like cheese on his chips and low and behold cheese on both chips and not on the curly fries. Food was not up to scratch for the 40 quid I paid honestly well annoyed

Best takeaway in Rothwell! delicious food and great staff, especially the young lad with the tattoos.

Why do you advertise being ‘open’ when you are closed? You advertise on your menus and social media platforms as open on Monday evenings but you are invariably closed? We had planned a dinner with friends this Monday only to find you closed. This is not the first time this has happened with you lot. Other takeaways in the area are accurate with their advertising….perhaps you should be too….?

This place is has the best fish and chips. Staff are friendly, what more could you ask for?
