Just moved to rothwell 5 weeks ago and we’ve tried every Chinese in the area and this is the best Chinese in Rothwell

Great unappreciated gem of Rothwell. Absolutely brilliant all round! Called up to order on a Friday night. The young guy on the phone was absolutely brilliant and very efficient in taking the order and informed me of how much it would be and the wait time which was 20 minutes. We showed up to collect on the dot 20 minutes later and it was ready to go. It was really well priced compared to others and ready in half the time others quote on a Friday! The food and portions were great value for money and it was soooo tasty. Will definitely order from there again.

Nice service, food is a good standard, price although a little high is ok considering the generous portions. One main and two rice or noodles is plenty for two people.

One a week experience, the food has got better than a few years ago, certainly meaty, good selection, recommend the special curry

Tasty clean Chinese food. But terrible customer service. 2 times in a row have been sent the wrong order. No apology from the woman on the phone and wanted the Inorrect item sending back! (Is this to re sell?) Arguing that I'd made the mistake. So disappointed and won't be recommending or ordering again.

Rated 1 star by mistake,only had special chow mien from here second time it was forced on me(time constraint)a spesh chow should consist of slithers of carrot,bean sprouts.water chestnuts mushrooms,onions,baby corn etc,or a combination of items (some are not on this list) RIP OFF to get 85% noddles topped with meat. If u have 2 use it ask what ingredients r before u pay,

Worst Chinese I've ever had it dosnt even deserve the time for a review the only star was for the delivery driver that delivered it quickly I will NOT be ever ordering again a pot noodle would of been more satisfying Awful food 🤢🤮 waste of money and dearer than other Chineses I only ordered as read sum good reviews there obviously on the payroll or never had a nice Chinese This is an honest review

I used these once a week till they got my order wrong and when I phoned them to tell them they was snotty a rude and didn't sort my problem out

I went in to get couple of soups as a snack and both was really nice. As waiting, I noticed there was a few very big orders been collected by customers and their drivers. The fact that there's multiple very big orders been collected one after other ( roughly £50+) I thought that was a good sign.

Il be honest never gave this chinese a chance!. But by heck exceeded my expectations. Food was clean flavoursome and bang on what you'd expect from a Chinese experience. Keep up the good work

a lot of chinese takeaways are no longer good but here the food is fresh tasty and delivered quickly and hot

Best chinese u can get from ls26 postcode! Proper prawn crackers! And decent soring rolls! Meat is always good quality. Staff absolutely lovely. We always order from here.

just ordered roast chicken and asked them not to over cook it pls like last time. when i arrived to pick up the young lad on counter said i should have told them last time and it wasnt his fault. i agreed and thats why i requested it didnt happen again this time. He told me that i was really aggressive and they will under cook it but it might be undercooked. i said i just want it cooked normal not under or over cooked. no customer service skills and the same happened again with the meal. i won't be eating here again. the last time i visited the young girl on the counter was actually very nice. shame.

Easily the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Customer service / the lady who answers the order phone calls is always polite and helpful. I only wish they accepted card payments. Regardless of this the food and customer service is 5/5.

I telephoned a takeaway order for my 86 year old mother, which consisted of prawn curry, fried rice and bean sprouts. The bean sprouts were inedible and complained the next day, when she found the number. The owners response was rude and unsympathetic, saying: should have phoned straight away, we don't sell food like that and we can't replace them because we're busy with orders. Then slammed the phone down! Don't reckon much to their customer service and won't be using them again.

*FOOD POISONING* Disgusting food. Ordered food, it was here within 20 mins of me phoning which I thought was rather TOO quick for the amount I ordered. The chicken was tough and tasted like it had been re heated. Sauce was very sticky, very cold and tasted different to normal.. rice felt like bullets. Ended up getting food poisoning. Avoid!!

butiful chicken curry n chips..

Ordered from here multiple times which has been fine until today, guessing there is a new employee unaware of the menu. As I received a wrong order. I then called to change my order and instead of understanding and dealing with the issue I was met with an argument and multiple replies of “I don’t understand” eventually after 15 minutes of arguing I was told that I must pay extra for my meal which is fine I agreed upon doing so I would have done so in the first place if that’s what must to receive what I ordered. But they are also taking the wrong order back which makes me believe that it will probably be resold. I would be careful when ordering

Order regularly and food always excellent love the sweet & sour Chicken Hong Kong style my daughter likes the carrots which are cut into different shapes fried rice tasty . Salt and pepper chips delicious . Delivery always reliable with a smile .

Lucky not to get poisoned. I wish there was a great local Chinese/Cantonese takeaway, but I've yet to find it.

The prawn crackers are spot on - thick and crispy - unlike some of the stale tasting/ soft/ greasy ones I have experienced at other nearby takeaways! Like the fact they use plenty of fresh vegetables in the dishes and not too much msg as measured but not feeling like I have a hangover/dehydration compared to some other takeaways. Iv eaten here at least 3-4 times. The only thing I would say is the beef blackbean is a little too spicy, as it contains green chillies.

The food is super good, the staff are very kind and the service couldn't be better! Only thing i wish they had is bubble tea...

Great chicken and sweetcorn soup

First time order, very pleasant over the phone and friendly on collection. Food was ready at time stated and piping hot. All dishes were very good, particularly liked the ribs and skewers. Enjoyed hot & sour soup, Peking ribs, chicken satay skewers, sweet & sour (HK) chicken, egg fried rice and (free) prawn crackers. Will definitely be calling again. Lots of free parking nearby too.

Bland and dry for the deep fried dishes and for the Singapore vermicelli it's not spicy at all. Disappointing. The salt and pepper squid has too much batter. The deep fried pork was sliced too thinly and fried for so long it became too tough to eat.

My mum and I always use this place, spring rolls, ok sauce and rice LOVELY and I mean LOVELY. 1st class highly recommended and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will not go anywhere else.

Delicious, we spent years trying others around the whole area, this place is by far the best. Always hot and good portions, never have the "hungry feeling" later either. Converted all our friends. X recommend everything, especially the chicken with cashew in yellow bean. Yummy

I could say it is one of the best in Rothwell. Amazing food quality at a good and reasonable price. Would definitely be coming back.

My experiance of the food was poor. I would say you can find better Chinese takeaway that is better than this quite easily. I will not use them again.
