Taste, quality, quantity, not a fan of hot stuff .... but it was absolutely morish, will definitely come here again

¡Qué fabuloso café / comedor! Estuve una vez antes (no viven en el lugar desafortunadamente) y visitamos de nuevo la semana pasada. Comida de nuevo muy bien cocinada, porciones tan sabrosas y generosas. ¡Setas verdaderamente elevadas en las tostadas a otro nivel! Hermosos pasteles nos tentaron también y de nuevo no nos decepcionó. Servicio cálido y amable y PS muy asequible; no soy vegetariano o vegano, pero realmente desearía que este gran restaurante estuviera en mi puerta.

As my birthday was approaching my dad who suffers with dementia offered to take me out for birthday lunch. We wanted something a little nicer than a pub lunch so visited M&C in Horsforth. I honestly wish we hadn’t. When we arrived it took a good 5/10 minutes for anyone to come seat us, my dad actually asked if it was even open, I began ringing the number online but then someone appeared to seat us. We ordered & to say there were only 3 tables in the restaurant we waited a very long time before our food arrived but I was anticipating it would be worth the wait. Both steaks were smaller than what you’d get elsewhere & both tasteless, the chips had been fried several times to the point some were so hard they were inedible, the onion were absolutely awful it had the texture of plastic - I honestly think the onion had been left out on the worktop for a few days, it really wasn’t nice & absolutely not fresh. The blue cheese sauce tasted nothing like blue cheese. The mayonnaise was absolutely awful, tasted so cheap. I can’t believe a “steak house” can serve food like this, I’ve honestly had better steaks from pubs. Such a shame because I’ve visited other M&C’s & they’ve been spot on. Huge let down, I don’t think I’d even return for free!

The king is dead… This used to be the place for pizza, we’ve been a few times in the last few years and it looks to have changed hands. This last visit will be the last we come to. Poor food and poor service

We visited on a Saturday mid afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food we had for starters: Calamari - Lovely and looked impressive. Halloumi - Nice but 2 pieces seems small. Mussels- Large in size and tasted ok. Mains: Lamb cutlets - the lamb was 'meh' on its own but the demi-glaze sauce was delicious. (I could have ate that as a soup!) Pizza - This was nice Steak - Cooked medium rare. Great. Meat Platter - Nice enough, but some of the meats not very flavoursome. Moussaka- This was nice, ordered a side of chips to go with it doesn't come with any. This place sounded like a bargain for £21.95 for a 2 course, but after adding on all the additional £2/£5 for different dishes on the menu it doesn't always work out that price! Nice cosy place and a good little place for a family catch up.

I cannot recommend Woodside more. They have by far the best chips in West Yorkshire. The steak pie is a must, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Truly my favourite chippy in Leeds!

Sin duda los peores huevos revueltos que he comido nunca fue más como un bulto sólido hecho en un microondas, tenía mucho mejor en un vuelo económico entonces tristemente el café estaba quemado y amargo - en general no es bueno

Food, service atmosphere was spot on with family, by yourself or with friends, it is a place you can enjoy your food, really liked everything and enjoyed dining out there, if you drink alcohol you can take your own drinks with you and have a good time, they cater to everyone's needs therfore thankyou for a really nice service and food.

The fish was lovely along with the curry sauce. However, the breadcake had clearly been left out to dry up, the mushy peas were very runny and the chips weren’t the best. Delivery kept being pushed back but I think that was due to locating a driver rather than the shop itself. Very average overall.

A brilliant selection of tapas , the quality of some of their dishes was excellent. The service was quick and very friendly. The menu is unlimited tapas, so both my partner and I were absolutely stuffed, trying many of the dishes available (we were too full to taste everything), so we'll definitely be back in the near future!

Nice friendly pub. Got some decent comfy seating. A darts board. Great outdoor area that gets the sun in the summer. Do nice food. Good selection of drinks.
