The Fleece in Leeds

This is a lovely pub. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was cosy and upbeat, great drinks selection and they are dog friendly too. Didn't have anything to eat this time but the menu looked good so I will be back to try that.

Food was ok, pie was burnt on the bottom, so difficult to eat as very hard. No desserts, overall ok

I have not been in the fleece for years and years, visited tonight, we will definitely be going back, such a lovely pub, great friendly staff with a great atmosphere, 100% you need to visit.

Place was so welcoming. First time coming in and the staff are lovely. Ordered the roast dinner and I haven’t had such a lovely meal in a long time! The roast was so flavourful and so much on the plate! Will deffo be going again!

Really nice pub, especially after fruit picking not the busiest day but that's good for us. The pie was tasty and plenty on draft oh and the onion rings were tasty too.

We visited today for lunch, I would highly recommend this place. The pizzas are amazing, compliments to the chef! 👌the young man at the bar gave us a 10/10 service, so friendly and welcoming and finally the atmosphere is lovely and cosy. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcomed, we will definitely be visiting again! 😊

This pub has changed for the better in the last couple of years. Gets busy now and outside seating proves to be very popular when the weather is good. I've heard the pizza are good too..... I'll be trying them soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to The Fleece. Dog friendly, helpful and friendly staff, quick service, lovely locals to chat to and amazing food. We had the pizzas and they did not disappoint! We will be returning very soon! Also impressed with the reasonable prices, cheaper than anywhere else locally!

Great small pub with lots of atmosphere and loads of people to talk to. Real locals feel and even had a commemorative book for Her majesty beer was good and people friendly.

Good local pub with good beers and reasonable price

The wine was excellent, it ends there. Ordering 3 Burgers and chips, one without salt, caused much confusion. Served on Paper plates with wooden cutlery, chips plonked on the table in polystyrene containers. Won't be going back.

We came here to try the famous slap and pickle burgers and they didn't disappoint at all. Absolutely amazing cheese burger, so juicy and tasty. I also tried the vegan duck fries which were lush. Everyone loved their burgers and we will definitely return. We also ordered a large fries which turned out to be the biggest tray of fries I've ever seen! Highly recommend for a delicious feast!

Super cute bar in Horsforth with a decent range of beers. Love the outside area in the evening and the food (Slap and Pickle) have great vegan options. 🌱

Great pub, friendly staff. Beer garden is fantastic not as big a fan of the inside but nice enough. Good beer selection. The food is the slap and pickle burgers which are amazing.

Was here for a funeral wake, lovely pint friendly staff. The burgers that were being served looked and sounded amazing, will be back to sample one soon hopefully.

Fantastic food that defeated us in the end but was taken away in boxes to finish off later. Great pub with acoustic night on a Wednesday creating a great atmosphere Will definitely be back more frequently going forward

It was our 1st visit after the refurbishment outside/inside we visited with friends all was good with great service in nice surroundings looking forward to our return.

No nonsense pub with switched on staff and well kept beer. Covid managed well without being in your face. All age groups use it which makes this a great local.

Very Friendly Pub. Prefered Timothy Taylors to The John Smiths. We got told off .(very polietly) For Standing UP. PLENTY OF TABLES. Bit on the Low side for Those with Two Metal Hips. But We Managed. Will Be Back.

Not the pubs fault but app wasnt working as it should be so we thought we had ordered but it hadn't gone through, waiter came and explained and took our order, food was nice but expensive for what we got.

Great to see The Fleece renovated to a high standard, much more appealing to all audiences. It’s a chilled environment and has fantastic friendly staff, would definitely recommend calling in here for a drink. They have a brilliant range of Gins too!

Sunday lunch was recommended, so booked 16th November for Sunday 17th November. Will not serve drop-in customers who have not Pre-booked! My husband ordered the Sunday Roast, I ordered smaller portion. The pub had no Pinot Grigio so had Chardonnay. In a word "disgusting", as was the meal. All vegetables from frozen. Roast potatoes from frozen. The beef had a disgusting smoked taste -again not fresh. Probably from pre-packed prepared meat. In short my dogs ended up with the meat. Ambiance in the pub - despite re-reurb - frankly poor. Would not return, complete appauling dining experience.
