Best chippy in Leeds for me. I drive past a few others just to get here for the real deal. Simon and Gail have never let me down, cannot be beaten for taste and quality, and the shop is always sparkling clean. Fish is the freshest and as lightly battered as you’ll find anywhere, chips are always sweetly fried to perfection. Friendly folks that know exactly what they’re doing, it’s five stars from me!

I have visited many fish and chip shops across the UK, from Aberdeen to Southend via Blackpool and many places in between. Fish Out serve just about the best fish and chips I have ever had. The chips were cooked to perfection. The fish was wonderfully fresh and coated in an excellent light batter. Service was great, the two guys running the place were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and will certainly visit again when next in the area.

Our 1st takeaway from Bengal Cottage whilst visiting friends who live locally. Good choice on menu. Can highly recommend the set meal for 2. Food quality & quantity were spot on. Not too long to wait from ordering to ready to collect. Piping hot, fresh and great value for the money. Will definitely return when back in area vising our friends. Teníamos el pollo al curry de Baga y el curry NH 66 Mutton con arroz azafrán. ¡Tanto los platos como el arroz eran deliciosos y sin gluten! También tenía la cervecería Kirstall Virtuous gluten free ale (debo tener) estará de vuelta.

Good scampi and chips, friendly staff, what more can you ask for?

Went for dinner. Brilliant food, amazing flatbread and duck eclair. The chicken and potatoes were top notch. They also have great cocktails and good selection of wines by the glass. Downstairs is lovely, small but not cramped. They do have 2 sittings but the meal did not feel hurried. Loved it.

Food is absolutely amazing, when it's actually open. The store is supposed to shut at 7pm, but my husband and I have frequently gone earlier and earlier and everytime they are cleaning up to pack away (we last arrived at 5pm, the service station was busy and they were shutting). You should consider updating your opening times to reflect when you are actually open, to save people travelling only to be told they can't purchase what they wanted and leave disappointed.

Staff were so friendly. It is definitely the best Italian meal I have ever had. The kids menu has an excellent choice, very reasonably priced and good portion sizes. We can absolutely recommend the Tiramisu.

First time here today stumbled upon this gem of a shop. It's now going to be my go to sandwich shop. Such amazing value and quality is on point. Fast fresh and fantastic!
