Hands down THE best sandwich shop in Leeds run by excellent welcoming staff. When the ques run outside the shop that tells a story!

Whenever I’m in Leeds for work, going here is always a treat! I love going to get a salad - a medium box is more than enough as they are really generous with portion!

Halal chicken, which is perfect when working in central Leeds. I got the Thursday special (there's a queue system for the specials, you just give your initials and pay), and within 10 ish mins, I had a hot chicken schnitzel sandwich! £7.90 when you choose to add cheese, hot juicy chicken, and it's kept me full all day, (had a decent amount of salad in too). My colleague visited the Sesame salad bar opposite and demolished her salad too. Highly recommend for a healthy, easy and balanced lunch.

Easily the best falafel hands down in Leeds or that I’ve ever eaten. Great service, always friendly and polite. I can’t recommend it enough especially for £3 a portion with mango sauce, even better on special day too 🤤🤤 Sincerely Mr Falafel

Me and a family member went here just for a quick take out drink around 10:30 to 11:00 am and it was absolutely empty at least no queues but I was expecting something more. I had ordered a mocha and my dad had ordered a cappuccino, first of all the woman serving us got our orders mixed up so I drank half my dad's cappuccino thinking it was a mocha and that it tasted funny. Even though we switched my mocha still tasted bitter and not right. Secondly, when I was in the restraunt both doors were wide open and this was in November so it was FREEZING inside the café and they had obviously let flies in and they were buzzing around all the food and there was cheese and butter just left open with a dirty knife on top that bugs were getting to. It made me gag and wonder how my drink was made if those were the standards. Would not recommend. Just to let you know if you have a disabled badge around park square I'm not sure in other places but you can park for free if you have a disabled badge.

This was was absolutely buzzing for their daily special. Once you have placed your order expect to wait for a while. You get to watch them freshly make and compile 100s of specials which seems a well oiled machine. After tasting the sandwich you can understand why it's so busy. 10/10, crispy juicy snitzel and full of flavour. Tasty and great value for money.

Nice food but I have noticed some inequality in the salad bar as the server pile high the food when serving men but give less portion sizes when serving woman, and one server gives more especially if you are vegan. Also one server gives more than the other server so you may come away with a medium box that has a low portion in but still charge the same price. very unfair and off-putting. it is woman serving as-well so this is not a comments on male humans.

Bad customer service - Learn to treat people better. The smug and rude man who i presume to be the owner couldn't even wait to eat his Tesco's meal deal while he spoke to me which says alot about the quality food. Wont be back

Usually an amazing chicken wrap which is why so many people line up to purchase. It seems recently that in an effort to serve people faster they're prepping ahead of time and reheating the whole thing, resulting in warm salad and a soggy wrap. I'd prefer to queue a bit longer to get the wrap fresh.

Absolutely fantastic healthy food with plenty options to choose from!And so tasty oh my god! Even the broc is better cooked than how i cook it. The ladies were helpful and very friendly which is much appreciated as i walked in there for the first time today!

Great sandwich shop with lots of choices of sandwiches. It's on the expensive side, but that's pretty usual at the moment. They do good specials during the week. The falafel wrap is a winner!

Big sandwiches with lovely fillings. Vegan and vegetarian food options. Can get busy but quieter in-between the hours.

OMG. THIS PLACE IS OUT OF IMAGINATION. Fresh food, so many options, healthy and tasty salad. I can't say this is only salad, this is a healthy full and whole meal. I really ador it. lovely friendly staff who are knowledgeable and help you with portions/calories. Couldn’t fault it. If you’re looking for delicious healthy food this is your spot. Persian hot buffet is super yummy yummy . Will definitely be returning. Super highly recommended.

Wow what fresh food serve here.i was referred by a friend..Daily special sandwiches and variety Of fresh salad bar. You can create your own salas with meat toppings, dips and humus with falafel. Highly recommended

Sesame has a great mix of food, the salad bar is amazing and plentiful, great value, my colleagues have been converted to the sandwich/wrap of the day and often leave their homemade food in favour of Sesame food! The Daily soup is my absolute favourite, it is divine!!! Thankyou everyone, always a smile and great food!

Wonderful, happy welcome, fabulously fresh foods, presented beautifully, we both had a great time! The best eating out experience i've had in Leeds and i have lived here 40+ years!

I was desperate to go here as it has rave reviews. When I arrived outside of the property it was completely closed down. I think this may be a temporary close for refurb but there were no signs stating this and it was a total disappointment. If it does open, however, I will definitely try again when I am back in Leeds.

Amazing place! Walked past on my way in to town and was drawn in by the lovely smell and my family and i said we’d go in on our way back to the car. So glad we did! The service was fantastic - my little boy was given little freebies by the female owner (I assume) and me, my mum and sister were all treated to a taste of their absolutely delicious falafels, which I then bought some of. I got a chicken wrap and it’s the best thing I’ve ever eaten. A beautiful toasted flatbread with crispy chicken pieces inside with cabbage and onions and a fantastic spicy, garlicky yoghurt sauce. I’m sorely tempted to return again tomorrow. They do salad items and sandwiches too, as well as a great selection of cold refreshments. Would highly recommend

I've seen colleagues with items from here and been somewhat envious so gave it a try today. I opted for the £5.50, 750ml "medium" salad bowl with a bit of everything (but not rocket, never rocket). I can't say anything negative about anything I tried, each component was fresh, packed with flavour and complimented each other really well. The falafel was the best I've had in a long time. Efficient service, incredibly friendly staff and in a handy location, thanks!

Absolutely 💯% excellent, The Staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, all with smiling faces. A range of teas, coffees, and soft drinks, i had cappuccino with cinnamon, a first but fabulous. Falafel , this has got to be the best ever, i have tasted. An inspirational Salad bar, i had 2 surprises I've not had before haha, no am not saying, go and try them yourselves lol. Everyday a different "Special" i had chicken schnitzel, wow amazing. The chocolate Brownie i had a small piece of, my daughter ate the rest ).lol Fresh food at its best. Healthy and wonderful. Sesame i hope you go from strength to strength, you deserve an award . Very easy to find this hidden gem as the delicious fragrant fresh foods guide you by the nose right to the door! Immediately you are over the threshold you are greeted by warm and welcoming smiles and fabulous smells and vibrant dishes being served. Everything is fresh, well balanced and delicious! From the coffee, to the amazing choice of salads, the schnitzel and falafel, the raspberry and chocolate brownies are irresistible. The portion sizes are generous and the staff cannot do enough to make you feel valued and welcome. A pleasure from start to finish. The big surprise with Sesame is the prices, extremely reasonable! A coffee for £2.20 and a filling lunch from £3.50. Sesame wins our vote! We are both well travelled foodies, eating out frequently, rarely do you find this kind of quality! Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu! 20/10!

Absolutely excellent venue that never fails to impress. The food is fresh with a wide range to choose from. The staff are also brilliant, especially Natalia who is a breath of fresh air!

This place is amazing! I keep ‘forgetting’ to bring my lunch to work so that I have to go to Sesame! Amazing food for breakfast and lunch, I could never get bored of their salad bar! Sesame also went above and beyond when I asked them for catering for 10 in the office one day, the service was second to none and they couldn’t have done any more for us! The owners are such kind and welcoming people and you are always greeted with a smile from every staff member!

The system inside is very hectic and confusing, and it’s so loud and hard to hear the staff but they’re very friendly and the food is delicious! Prices are fair too! I am making my way through their extensive vegetarian sandwich selection but the salad bar looks amazing too!

Best place in Leeds for lunch! I work all over Leeds and go out of my way to have lunch at Sesame. Ali, Natalia, Vicky and the team are very welcoming. Their food is superb, falafels are amazing and the salad bar has got to be the best in Leeds.

Would advise anyone to try food from this place. Everything is just so fresh and tasty, Staff are amazing, and the special menu changes everyday. Would highly recommend trying their lasagne... the portions is very big and half a tub can fill you up. Well deserved five stars from me.

First time eating from Sesame and it won't be the last. I couldn't resist the aroma as I headed out looking for lunch with a difference. The queue was long so I decided that it must be worth the wait and it was. I ordered a large salad which consisted of rocket, spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, noodles, olives, falafel, hummus, chickpea, new potatoes and tuna. All marinated beautifully to provide me with a very tasty lunch for £5.90. There are lots of other food items to add to your salad, the choice is yours. They also have a huge selection of sandwiches to choose from all freshly made and a little different from your Tesco cheese and tomato. Oh... And the staff are so friendly 😊 I definitely recommend this place.

Excellent! Asked about the vegan options and the lovely lady at the counter said it was limited today but she'd put a bit of everything in a salad box for me. I WAS NOT DISSAPPOINTED!! The box was brimming with potato salad, cous cous, noodles, falafel, veggies, olives toy name it!! I can't wait to go back on a day when they have the normal selection on. A medium tub was just under a £5, brilliant value for money, I got so much food!!

My whole office gets lunch here. Salad range is great and they know which salads are vegan. The falafel is amazing. It would be good if you could re-use your plastic containers. They normally just get binned in our office because they're non-recyclable.
