Low and behold my food arrived shortly after the slot time Too marks 💯 The food was as lovely as everyone said who recommended I try this place If you haven’t already, give this place a try. I travel from Bradford every Saturday for the wonderful food! The young team here is very polite and passionate about both food and customer service. First and last time. £40 for 3 mains, 2 rice's and 1 naan, we were charged delivery even though we live in Allerton Bywater. It does say free delivery over 12 pound and 5 mile radius. I decided to give this a try, I wish I'd have stayed with the one we usually use. Far too much sauce with my curry, balti tikka massala and not very tasty.Chicken korma very bland. Tinned potatoes in our aloo pilau rice. The only good thing was the speed of delivery.

We received a menu for bengal cottage the other day and decided to give it a go and place an (first time)order. Well the service was very good when ordering, staff were very helpful and friendly meals were adapted for dietary needs, all food was lovely and hot when received and all the family really enjoyed their food. I phoned back to compliment them to share my appreciation of their food. We will be placing an order again at some point most definitely.

Fantastic food every time we order. Even on Friday/Saturday nights when it is very busy, the food is always spot on. Yes occasionally there is a bit of a wait, but that is only due to how busy they are which in my eyes shows how good they are! Portions are always plentiful too, strongly recommend the mixed kebab! First time order from Bengal Cottage. We has order Doner kebab. And it's really disappointing. Garlic sauce does not taste like garlic. The fries were soaked in fat and were hard. We only has taste this food and it is disappointing how such simple food was prepared so poorly.

I’ve ordered from Bengal cottage on many occasions and usually have no issues at all. I actually ordered a few days ago (mixed tikka kebab) and it was fresh, hot and a decent portion for £8. I ordered the same tonight but unfortunately the food was cold, the chips were very soggy and I was given next to no meat. My partners burger was wet through and had the sauce missing, overall an extremely disappointing takeaway and terrible value for money, think we’ll be sticking to Garforth for our takeaways in the future ————— In response to Mo, and to address a few things. 1. The food was sat waiting on the side when I walked in, not packed in front of me, I arrived within the time frame given to me over the phone, I went straight home and live round the corner. 2. I didn’t ask for extra sauces, online it says you can have a maximum of 2 sauces on the kebab, I asked for two chilli, any extra sauce was your staffs choice, so why would I be charged? The burger is described as having mayonnaise but there was no sauce on the burger 3. The food was soggy and below the usual quality, but rather than apologise for this and take the feedback, you question the honesty of my review, it shows as an owner you accept no responsibility and push blame back to paying customers. 4. Comments regarding the can? I never mentioned an issue with the can of pop. Poor quality of food and owners who refuse to accept responsibility and instead imply customers are lying, tells you everything you need to know.

I overpaid for my meal, instead of paying £12 it went through as £120 - the restaurant instantly rectified this for me and we're incredibly helpful and polite throughout. We ordered the mix starter it came with 1 x salad for 2 people when should come with 2 x salads. This may seem small to re send another salad out but we have noticed this happens alot. The food at this place is very nice but I was disappointed having called the resteraunt and was told we will deliver it next time. They checked with the kitchen whilst i was on the phone and he confirmed kitchen sent 1 salad, this was disappointing as we've had 2 x salads sent in the past. There was not 2 x lots of salads on one dish like the owners replied, it was barely enough salad for 1 person tbh. We are not liars, I have read the reply from the takeaway and it isn't true. I have redone your star rating to be fair you and your takeaway, all I ask is that this be addressed when ordering a mixed starter and that the kitchen issues out 2 x salads or enough salad for 2 x people because they didn't. Your response is total and utterly lies, you were never spoken to rudely whatsoever and you have no integrity. Shame on you.
