Good food served. Squid starter was so tasty. Portions are large. Decent range of Indian food with a Goan twist. Large range of starters with vegan/veggie optiuons.

We had a very good meal here. Food was delicious, service very good and all in all a very good experience. We would definitely recommend.

We went to De Baga in Chapel Allerton for dinner. It was fantastic! The staff are friendly and very helpful when ordering. We loved all our dishes and the cocktails were excellent. Will definitely be going back!

At last a place in Leeds with original Indian flavors. Spot on taste and flavors. They take time to cook food but than good food always take time. Charlotte was our bartender and she was unreal she made us feel so welcome and was so kind, she talked us through the cocktail menu and suggested a goa cocktail what was so unreal!, she made me want to come again, the food was amazing!.

Ate at the chapel allerton branch recently, starters were lovely, main dishes had lots of flavour and a lot of sauce to dip your naan bread in but really lacked substance. Appreciate ingredients prices and costs have gone up but 5 small bite size pieces of chicken for £15 is a bit much. Did ask while there I'd thus was normal, tge response was "that's the dish".

Visited with my family and mother and father in law for the first time... my wife and I had had 3 deliveries prior and were keen to impress my wife's parents! De Baga did not disappoint! The lamb curry is so tender and the intense deep flavours of spices and aromatics... wow! The staff were brilliant and let me try the ales on draft and tailored my eldest daughters food to make it not so spicy. My youngest was pleased to have nuggets! We can't wait to visit again!

I have eaten at Baga on other occasions and was not disappointed. I went on my own on this occasion and felt perfectly comfortable. The staff really looked after me and were knowledgeable about the menu. There were plenty of vegetarian dishes available and the flavours were wonderful and appetising. Not an extensive menu, but still good choice. Food was excellent- and so was the service. Smallish place with friendly and warm vibe.Prices a little higher than some might expect, however you are getting good quality.

We came early (5.30) on Saturday night as we had a show booked for 8 in Leeds City centre. The starters came swiftly but then we waited almost an hour for our main. The food its self was nice and we took what we couldn't eat home (as we had to leave to go to the show)

Lady with the blonde hair was absolutely amazing, it was our 1 year anniversary and while she served us it was brilliant. One of her co workers later served us and was quite rude not welcoming at all. When the food came it was mild and extremely bland,I had a chicken biryani( which is one of my favourite dishes I have tried it many times at other places) it had no spice at all and tasted the exact same to my partners dish makhan Mergi. That dish was also underwhelming my partner had it the week before and it tasted completely different this week no trace of honey and tasted like a rogan josh. Quite disappointed as it was a special day.

This was probably the best curry I’ve ever eaten. Not the usual curry house menu - much more select and bespoke. Great staff. Cosy venue. Highly recommended. Ate before the rugby on Saturday evening so at least one bit of the evening started and finished well!

Staying locally we booked an early evening meal. What a find! A very attractive restaurant with charming staff and a welcoming ambience. The food was fantastic. Tasty prawn and squid starters and three different lamb curries with rice and sweet naan. The flavours were intense and fragrant and the food was piping hot and attractively served. A wonderful meal and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Absolutely delicious food and made such a nice change from the usual Indian restaurants. Portions were huge (but they were kind enough to give us the rest to takeaway!) and very reasonably priced. Excellent service with the owner even stopping for quite a lengthy chat despite the restaurant being very busy. I can see why it was so busy even on a school night! Will definitely be back when we are next in Leeds.
