Been using this little coffee shop for over 2 years now and I can honestly say it's amazing. The coffee is great the cakes are always fresh and the service is wonderful. Keep it up girls 😁

Myself and my husband went this evening for a meal . The service was excellent the waitress was very friendly and we didn't have to wait for anything.. The food was wonderful all very fresh and cooked to order with no real wait between courses. We would recommend the Antipasta to share as a starter ! Not expensive very reasonable. However...we both felt the restaurant was missing something...maybe a few pictures , parlour palms ( plants in general) it lacked ambience, quite bare internally . The lovely fire should have been lit not for heat but for the warmth of the atmosphere . ??? No coziness.?

We stopped here as a wanted to try the desserts and we were not disappointed. We ordered donuts, waffles and cookie dough. All 3 were freshly prepared and came with a side of ice cream. No pictures as got covered in sauce and toppings quickly! But worth a sugar overload! And the staff were friendly and worked like troopers while we were there.

We had a lovely evening at Lucia - cocktails especially were delicious. Thank you to Will who was incredibly friendly and welcoming

Delicious food, will definitely return

Enjoyed a fantastic family meal on Saturday night with a variety of dishes (chicken alla crema, lasagne, pasta, pizza, garlic bread, swordfish) all delicious and flavoursome, and large portions with little room for pudding! A lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. It’s my third visit and best so far highly recommend- thank you 😊

Everything was dry , tasted chalky, soggy naan bread and 2 prawns in the whole dish , wouldn’t waste my money again , all went in the bin

Just had a few pints and had the great oldy traditional pub feeling. Didn't sample the food but menu looks reasonable.

Cannot fault the food, other than the hairs in my egg and the rude old lady behind the counter. Wouldn’t accept it didn’t wear a hair net! Didn’t offer an apology.

Phoned last minute and fitted 6 people in no problem .Service and food was fantastic, good atmosphere and reasonable prices . Will definitely be back next time we visit pocklington

Had the most amazing dining experience at Sumo Restaurant! The food was absolutely fantastic – every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. From start to finish, the service was top-notch – the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was lovely too – warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed night out or a special occasion. What truly made the evening extra special was the surprise birthday cake they brought out – such a thoughtful and generous touch that made the celebration unforgettable. Thank you, Sumo, for an incredible evening – we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Went here on Good Friday as Papas in willerby was closed. Pleased it was as they were superb fish and chips and slightly cheaper than papas! Really good.
