Nice pub, probably best in Hedon. Food not amazing but ok. Lager is well kept. Always clean. Nice beer garden

A charming pub, with a very warm, friendly welcome, and dog friendly too. Lovely outdoor area for when the weather is better. Nice choice of ales, and a menu with plenty to choose from. The food was delicious and served quickly, would recommend the Sunday roast and the burger, and will try something else off the menu next time Highly recommend a visit, we will be back.

My family and I had our Mother's day lunch here. There was 10 of us, a mixture of adults and children, and all our food arrived together! It was delicious! The open fire was burning which just added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean, the food was yummy and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!

Had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with chips and crispy bacon, 😋 was delicious and it's become mu regular wednesday feast, good value for money. Good atmosphere, laughing and joking with the staff and other punters. Will definitely be a regular visit.

Visited Thursday just gone as I was meeting a friend for lunch as she was off work for the week and I have no complaints whatsoever. My friend had this taco thing (so sorry I don’t remember specific title of dish) and I had the mini fish and chips which tasted excellent. The girl who served us our drinks and food was so kind and couldn’t have done anymore for us. Apologies to the same girl who at the same time as serving me my glass of J20 I walked away from the bar instead of waiting for my drink definitely a dopey moment I was having there. All in all great food and great service. What more can I ask for. Recommend to anybody in the Hedon area or anybody who may be visiting Hedon for the day.

Great new pub in Hedon. Good selection of real ales. This pub is one of our locals and we always enjoy coming here on one of our local pub crawls. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming. The food is also very good.

Went in last Saturday after meeting up with the family for a fifty birthday party had no food but with the service and the atmosphere they was it would have been very good . Had a great time let's hope we can return very soon . Many thanks to the landlord a friend of my son Paul and the bar staff were tremendous.. thanks for a really massive memorable night...w.

Gorgeous looking pub . Unfortunately food is dreadful. Ate here when it reopened had a bad food experience. Thought we'd give it another go . So disappointed. Get a new chef, one that doesn't burn Nachos 😳x Basic menu , the chef can't manage that . Hello , thank you for your prompt reply. Last time we ate and complained we ordered another meal which was as bad . No offer of compensation. Was told by the waitress, your daughter I think ' it's a learning curve' ??! Obviously learning isn't the chefs strong point . Pointless complaining as he's still cooking!

Had a panini Philly cheesesteak with chips and was cooked perfect and it was absolutely gorgeous, will certainly be having it again

We went for an early Christmas Dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent and at a very good price for that type of menu. We would highly recommend using the Station Pub for your Christmas meal. You will have to book your menu before arriving.

This is easily the best looking pub in Hedon and deserves to be busier. I dropped in on a Monday night when there was no food on but would be keen to try next time I'm visiting.

We live locally and visited on a Saturday evening. The lounge area was very cosy with the open fire. We always receive a friendly welcome at this lovely venue. I ordered scampi and my husband the stroganoff. Both the meals were extremely tasty and well cooked. We always enjoy our visits and would highly recommend the Station.

Sunday lunch. Absolutely dreadful. Tiny plates with a small amount of meat (returned as all fat) Yorkshire pud, a couple of small potatoes that were so hard it was unreal and a large spoon of frozen cabbage with 1 carrot. Food was Luke warm. Wouldn’t recommend. Shame as looked nice on the pictures.

My husband got a chicken curry...literally the chicken seemed stale or frozen...it looked like a boxed meal on his plate...and i got a mushroom stroganoff...this being my favourite meal wherever I go...but this was literally a bowl of greasy uncooked rice with one mushroom cut up....just wish I'd of taken pictures but we just wanted to get out...we left and went to another local where we had a more filling meal....we won't be going back....

We have had a few drinks in the beer garden on a number of occasions. The beer garden is a lovely place to spend time on a sunny afternoon. We decided to have a meal yesterday evening and the food was very good, compliments to the young chef. The Landlord, Steve and his staff are all very pleasant and we always enjoy our visits. Highly recommended.

We had our vow renewal at the station yesterday and how amazing it was. The service from the landlord and ladylady was amazing. The staff where so kind and lovely. They made the pub look absolutely beautiful. Inside and out. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Me and my husband where very happy with everything.

Just had a couple of pints and fish and chips. Great beer as usual. The fish and chips were absolutely lovely. No grease, lovely white fish and amazing chip's, nice peas all very tasty. The only thing I would say is that I would of liked a few more mushy peas, but that said me and the wife thought it was spot on, we will definitely get it again. Sorry no photo we were half way through before we thought about it.

The station is a lovely traditional pub. After being closed for quite a while it has being sympathetically refurbished and is now open again. It has a good selection of beers and lagers including several cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. There is a nice cozy traditional bar with a dart board, and a larger lounge. The pub serves some nice traditional pub grub, there is outside seating and it's own large car park opposite the pub. Dog friendly, definitely worth a visit.

Made a super job of the renovation work, inside and out. Good food and drink at a fair price. Excellent, friendly service and atmosphere. Would recommend and definitely visit again.

So glad this pub has reopened. Having two dogs (plus an extra one we're looking after) we are always on the lookout for dog friendly pubs. The huge garden is a perfect place for them, and the summer houses are a great addition. The land lady is so welcoming and the service is warm and friendly. Take no notice of the negative reviews about beer prices. They are all made up. I had Timothy Taylor for £4 and a Theakstons best for the same. I was also given a loyalty card for buy 5 get 1 free. These new owners have done a fantastic job of turning this place around. I look forward to trying out their food next time, too. 👌

Popped in to the station for a quick lunch, opted for the Italian flat bread with chips, both where so tasty, this is our 4th visit eating at the newly refurbished pub, the new hosts are keeping it tip top condition, all meals have been 💯% Sunday lunch, burgers, curry & desserts, top marks to the young chef👨🏻‍🍳👏🏻

Went in to watch the rugby on C4. Decided to have lunch. Great decision. Had Station burger with cheese and bacon, wife had Cajun chicken burger both were absolutely spot on and the chips where outstanding 👌. Great friendly staff and a good pint of Timothy Taylors. You can't go wrong.

We have visited about three times now and always have a friendly welcome. The pub is lovely and it’s always good to stop off for a drink when we are passing on one of our walks.

Seriously the best pub in Hedon.! Popped in for a pint etc , after a hard day cutting trees down etc, just what I needed, a lovey tranquil setting out side with my dog ....FAB. Bk again...DEFO. Much Respect to all concerned. Hedons Sanctuary pub! See you very soon.

My family and I would like to say a big thank you to Steve and Karen for putting together an amazing buffet for my mum's wake on Tuesday 13th June. Your hard work was much appreciated. We were provided the function room which was perfect and as it was a hot summer's day the doors were opened onto the beer garden. The buffet was segregated off in the dining area and was above our expectations. The food was amazing and a superb choice catering for all tastes. Staff are all a credit to you and everyone commented what a lovely afternoon and place. Would 100% recommended to anyone wanting to book a function or even just to pop in for a meal and drink.

Went in for Sunday lunch the food was lovely but not massive but enough. Everything was was cooked fresh the waitress was very attentive and even went to a local shop to get mint sauce when they released they didn't have any for our roast lamb. Will be returning again thank you

Visited today with partner, mother in law and kids (4 and 14). All got something different off the menu and everyone said how lovely their meal was. The chips especially were amazing. We will definitely be visiting again. Very reasonably priced too. It cost us £52 for 4 adult mains and a kids meal

Really nicely decorated and themed. Good range of drinks on offer at reasonable prices. Will go back to eat at some point as the menu looked inviting! Good spacious car park too.

Really nice to see the Station open again. The renovations have been carried out to a good standard. The pub is very friendly and accommodating. Some very nice cask ales, but a touch on the expensive side. One word of warning - ask the price first we were charged £6 a pint for a craft ale. Would have appreciated being warned in advance.

Recently re-opened, decor and real fire very inviting. Chicken curry was tasty although food could have been hotter. Gave them the benefit of doubt and returned for Sunday dinner. Wish we hadn't bothered. The carrots were bordering on raw, the cabbage and broccoli were ok, the roast potatoes were well roasted but had been reheated. The meat was disgusting. The cheapest cut of beef, full of fat and gristle. Sent first meal back but secong meal was no better. Landlord didn't seem to care. Will not be returning, even for just a drink. The 'Chef' was all of 18 if he was lucky, no training whatsoever. Very disappointed local customers.

Wasn't the best carvery I've had. Staff are really friendly and attentive, but the food just didn't make the trip out worthwhile.

Really nice warm and welcoming atmosphere, very friendly staff. Nice clean environment and the seats are comfy. The menu has been changed since we first went, and the improvement is huge! Great quality food cooked to perfection and good generous portions. Very happy.

A terrific pub! Great atmosphere and the staff are really helpful and friendly. They do a terrific pint of Black Sheep (amongst others) and nothing is too much trouble. Dog friendly too - perfect!

Good, very friendly pub you can sit outside, or inside dogs are welcome and if they are friendly dogs you can let them of the lead in the garden, so long as you are responsible for them. Food is fresh and tasty and it is average prices
