Myself and my husband went this evening for a meal . The service was excellent the waitress was very friendly and we didn't have to wait for anything.. The food was wonderful all very fresh and cooked to order with no real wait between courses. We would recommend the Antipasta to share as a starter ! Not expensive very reasonable. However...we both felt the restaurant was missing something...maybe a few pictures , parlour palms ( plants in general) it lacked ambience, quite bare internally . The lovely fire should have been lit not for heat but for the warmth of the atmosphere . ??? No coziness.?

St Augustines GateEnjoyed a fantastic family meal on Saturday night with a variety of dishes (chicken alla crema, lasagne, pasta, pizza, garlic bread, swordfish) all delicious and flavoursome, and large portions with little room for pudding! A lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. It’s my third visit and best so far highly recommend- thank you 😊

Lovely friendly local pub, pets very welcome even ones who are noisy! Landlord helpful, not to much trouble.
