The best restaurants in Bessacarr and Cantley Doncaster Yorkshire and The Humber

Our 2nd visit. Took 2 friends who have more tapas experience than us. They were very impressed with the range and quality available. We think it is excellent.

Lovely afternoon tea, Went for my birthday and the table was set up lovely. They brought tea and coffe in a pot which was lovely. And we all had our own afternoon tea with some sandwiches, cake and scones. They did a small plate for the child as well, she was a little upset she didnt have a cake stand. The ice cream looked amazing and they even do milkshakes and take out. They do full meals as well.

I took my 15yr old son for his 1st experience of this kind of eatery . Food was excellent. I had 2 ginger ales ( small ) my son had 1 large coke ... £105 ....I think that's extortionate.... bit disappointed 😞

Very disappointing. Fish very thin, dry and looked and tasted like it had been re fried. Chips cold and hard.

We done as a family at the Blacksmiths quite often, we love the setting, access and parking, but it’s great food and atmosphere, the staff are always very helpful and welcoming, Eva always remembers us making us feel important. Thanks for many great experiences.

I pre booked my table asking for a ncgi menu be left on table as most place you have to ask for it first of all we were stuck in traffic so I rung them to explain we was on our way and they said not a problem they will save our table we arrived and greeted very friendly and was told the menu is on the table for us we ordered the new menu steak Americana and it wasn't long before it was with in no time hot and very flavoursome really enjoyed cooked just how we asked the staff was attentive took our plates and asked if we was ready for the desserts we had ordered it was Apple crumble and custard it was lovely really enjoyed it this was all from the non containing gluten menu we had used a 30% off mains and was told about the special they offer on certain days like steak night and drink pie n drink curry and drink at certain prices on certain days we will go back again because it's friendly value for money and the added bonus separate menu instead of having to trawl through a allergy book which always makes me feel embarrassed when it's a illness not a diet fad more pubs should do more choice and separate menus like the house martin

Celebrating Valentine's day because I don't have a previous appointment I waited more than 45 mins (was available few tables but no staff to cleaning it)...very busy and not enought staff. While waiting for a table I wanted to order a drink at the bar but the staff refused me because they had to honor previous orders. I'm ask for a empty glass 2 times and they forget about me both times.. Food not on my taste..very very swet. Sorry but I'm not comming back!
