Good place to eat. Welcoming staff, reasonable prices.

placed a order on Deliveroo. Received part of the order contract Nando’s and was advised to call Deliveroo. Contacted Deliveroo who rejected the refund. spoke to Nando’s was put through to a rude manager who couldn’t be more unhelpful he passed the blame onto Deliveroo.

Awesome new location north of town center. Never busy. Staff attentive and helpful food always bang on!

If you come, bring your big coat because it’s freezing in here. I asked if they could turn the air conditioning down as it was visibly wafting the plants and they said the couldn’t because of the kitchen. Honestly I should have sat outside it would have been warmer.

It was very cold with the aircon on and there was no way of turning off which did make our food alittle cold but enjoyed the meal nether the less

Lilly supervisor (soon to be Ceo) made our visit extra special a great asset to the restaurant & Nandos! Awful,stressful not what you want when you finish work and want to go for a relaxed meal Order here,pay there drinks over there…!! So confusing …expensive too..with no customer service other than…”how’s your meal” to which I responded …not very good…the waiter laughed and walked away without even asking why..!!! Cleanliness shocking ..to say it’s only been open 2wks max.. Sat near the kitchen…staff prepacking food for takeaway ..no gloves,no sigh of hand wash..chefs drinking and coughing,all over ..disgusting..with an open kitchen…come NANDO’S get your staff and hygiene in order,you should no better,and some clean decent smart uniforms for the staff,they all look scruffy..I won’t be revisiting…experience wasn’t enjoyable !!!

I was waiting for 30 minutes while I was watching all my friends eat there food and I feel embarrassed and dissatisfied with the way the food has taken so long and it still hasn’t arrived and it has nearly been 40 minutes and still haven’t received my food

i went there on the 9th of July 2024 it was horrible, the food was cold, raw, moldy and had a dogs hair in it. when i went to the kitchen to complain i saw rats scattering on the floor, it was disgraceful. Im suprised the shop is still open. who ever is reading this DON'T GO THERE

Went in, told 15 minute wait for a table, then 30 minutes for food. There were empty tables. Said no thanks and left

Let’s be honest, it’s great chicken & chips. You know what you’re getting & it’s consistently good. Prices seem to be on the high side these days but what isn’t. Today, I visited with my youngest lad & it wasn’t that busy at around 4pm (Sunday).

pretty unique experience. pulled up in car park and immediately got started on. then walked in and got the devastating news that the saka sauce has been discontinued. never returning. cheers. 👍 also, my favourite employee (baldy) wasn’t in, kinda ruined my sunday.

I can't believe that you cant reserve a table. We stood outside for 40 mins. Many people had been seated in that time. We were out in the cold because we were a family of 12.

Arrived looked busy Got a table right by door near till, Lucky to get table, place looks ace, acoustics dreadful, the sound was bouncing around the room, I asked to move tables as there were 7 just eat delivery drivers/riders stood by us, with their wafts of cheap aftershave, was not nice to be honest, we then moved into a corner which seemed much better, we waited for our food, then the table in front got there food?? We had ordered 10 minutes before them? Also the guy sat next to us was still waiting for his food when our food arrived and he was having the exact same as me? I asked the waitress where is his food? He eventually got it. Food was bland chicken rap bland. I had some faith in nandos. But I have zero now. Nice venue, people picking orders up need to wait away from tables. Staff need to get their orders on the board in order of them being ordered.

Vegetarian halloumi starter was crusted with small chicken pieces! It was a good job I’m actually not vegetarian as I would have been absolutely disgusted, the cooks in the kitchen working on the grill obviously need training as to the importance of separating vegetarian food from any source of meat contamination, no excuses Nando’s this should never happen! After reporting this to a member of staff we received a simple sorry and nothing more! Where was the manager to try and at least explain, once again no excuses Nando’s! The whole experience was poor, the food was below average, my husband sent a Mac and cheese back as it was cold, the replacement was still cold, we payed our bill and left, we definitely will not be returning and warn anyone expecting their vegetarian food to be carefully prepared to think before visiting this restaurant!

Fast service yet the food was still cold, portions tiny, 2 lousy stems of broccoli and a few chips. Staff weren’t the greatest nor friendly, told to leave review and mention by name by one staff member despite only clearing plates.

Waited 25 minutes for one chicken wrap. Staff had forgotten about me, even though I sat right in front of the service area. It seemed very chaotic for somewhere that wasn't very busy.

I like the wings are small and slightly burned from Nandos generally and this branch did it well. A slight issue about the pitta bread as I could see a couple of greyish patches inside the bread, wonder if they were moulds?! The coleslaw was a bit dry but was okay, garlic bread was fantastic and the sauce, I love Nandos sauce!

Walking in the usual greeting, sat two of us down in table for 4 (great plenty of room) bench seating on both side. Massive holes in one of them only a table for 2 based on the fact one of the benches was ripped to shreds. Scanned QR code to order which then directed us to the till. Food came the server asked "medium chicken wrap" there were two order and we asked "which one" she just stared blankly at us. I had ordered peri salted fries, only got fries. I went and asked for the peri salt, it never came after they said it would. Was a little disappointed by the food in general too. Tasted like it had been microwaved and chicken was dry. Never asked us how our food was (the chicken stayed on the table) Overall not a good experience.

Welcoming staff members. I am extremely happy with the service I received. All staff are very polite, friendly and helpful especially Harriet who seated us right away. Food was amazing as always, we ordered half chicken, quarter chicken and chicken thighs with sides and drinks. Nandos is our go to, keep it up guys!!

Been to several Nando's. The whole experience at Doncaster continued the high standards. Will definitely revisit.

Shocking had to wait forever for food my girlfriend got hers way before I did and only one guy he was in blue offered about me waiting and got me some more halloumi but apart from him it was absolutely terrible worst nandos I’ve been to and I love nandos so never thought I would say that

I love Nando's. The food is always good and the restaurant itself is tastefully furnished and it's clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Our meal was delicious, but I had a minor problem with my side order of mashed potato, and the manager handled it so well and gave free desserts to the three of us! We were so full that they kindly packaged them up so we could take them home for later. I am looking forward to my next visit very soon.

Food was okay, just nandos as you'd expect it. The place was very busy when we visited (about 8 on a Friday) and was in a bit of a mess. Too many tables packed into the space available and no time being given to turning tables around for the staff. Felt more like a KFC with the rate of people coming and going. Plenty of staff on the floor but quite chaotic. Lots of orders going to the wrong places. Took a couple of attempts to get the right order to my table. The cutlery area, drinks machine and ice machine were all in a bit of a state.

Lovely food and the service was very good and cater for gluton free nothing to much trouble.

Been twice in a month, ordering from APP is no problem for me, I found the young waitors and waitresses there very friendly than I expected, lovely smiles on face. Thank you.

I visited Nando’s this afternoon with 5 kids, as it was my twins birthday. As it isn’t possible to book a table we just turned up. We got told that it would be around 20 minute wait. We were informed that there was no waiting area and we would have to stand outside in the freezing cold, under a parasol. After 15 minutes a large group turned up and were given a table straight away. I went in and asked if our table was now available?? I was told it would be 5 minutes!! How is that fair!?? Especially as I was stood there with 5 kids. The food took 35 minutes to arrive at our table and mine (mushroom halloumi wrap) was as cold as the coleslaw! I also found a greenfly on the lettuce, so scraped the lettuce eat of the salad out of the meal. I didn’t complain because I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. The kids enjoyed their meals, which were warm and no green flies were seen. We definitely not be going back here any time soon.

This has got to be the worst nandos i have ever visited. So run down, furniture ripped, chips and napkins all over the floor. We ordered our usual (butterfly chicken and burger) the bun from the burger had clearly been frozen for some time as when it was served it was crumbling, both of the chicken were dry and over cooked to the point i had to send it back as you needed a pint of water to swallow it. After waiting for some 'fresh' chicken and by fresh i mean it was already pre cooked taken out of a draw under the grill and heated through this is the first time iv seen this done in nandos maybe it wasnt busy enough but every other nandos iv visited had fresh chicken on the grill ready to go not reheated chicken, the chips where also over cooked and clearly double dipped so probably pre cooked aswell. By the time they brought the "fresh chicken" everything else on our plate was cold as they only replaced both pieces of chicken, but again, they were still not the best.

Interior is beautiful. Booth seats are uncomfy and lumpy af but that’s fine, ordered a CRISPY chicken burger and it came GRILLED. Questioned it and was told that’s how it comes, yet there’s a difference between grilled and crispy as it says on the menu crispy for the one I ordered and grilled for some others. So not only did we pay over £11 for a burger that wasn’t eaten, no refund was offered at all, all that was offered was to remake the burger, why would I want it remade if it’s gonna be grilled again instead of CRISPY as stated on the menu?…. Didn’t wanna cause a full in store as I don’t want anyone to spit in my food. A refund on the burger would be nice tho as my partner did pay and I feel like it’s a bit of daylight robbery in their eyes. Bottom line, if it says crispy, don’t grill the mofo. Do it as it says on the menu or not at all. Waste of time and money mate.

Ordered a chili half chicken and lemon &herb half chicken. They delivered both lemon & herb flavor. Chicken was so burnt and tasteless. No flavor at all.. no nandos sauce, either. Wasted money . This was just horrible. And the breast was raw. Never ordering from them again.

Friendly helpful staff. Very expensive food. Descriptions and images of food on menu deceptive. Small portion sizes, was that really a double chicken breast in my kebab? I don’t think so…Rice bowl looks big on picture but you discover the base is so thick it takes up half the volume of the bowl. So you don’t get much rice. The food was tasty though and we didn’t have to wait too long. It feels like an expensive cafe rather than a restaurant experience. It’s a bit of a cattle market tbh. We were disappointed and glad to leave.

It's what you expect, good chicken, love the flavors. Ordered on the app, quick and easy. The food arrived promptly and was well cooked.

Cicken was dry and not very hot. THE APP didnt work and ordering is painful.

So, what happened to dining out where you're taken to your table, asked if you would like a drink, then the friendly staff took your food order, brought it to your table, said enjoy your meal etc etc . This place is none of the above.👎 It's a self serve cafeteria FFS. Order using a smart phone, pay before you eat, get your own cutlery, napkins sauces etc. Rubbish experience accetuated by the tiny burger, cold chips and gratingly dire piped music. First and last ever visit. 👎👎👎👎

Very disappointed. I usually throughly enjoy nandos. Had it delivered. Food was warm but the chicken was so dried out, it was like chewing rubber. They didnt even put any other sauces so there was no ketchup for the chips. If i was in the restaurant, then this would have been returned immediately. Deserves 0 starts

Had dinner here last night about 40 mins later I had excruciating pain in my left side - nearly had to go to the hospital, I haven’t eaten anything so I knew it was the nandos, later on my partner was also sick, so disappointed I will not be eating here again, the staff were lovely only plus.

First time coming here, and I have to say it was an amazing experience. Lovely atmosphere, open and relaxing. Very clean and tidy, bathroom included. The staff are 5*, very friendly, and checking in with you to make sure everything is to your liking. The food is cooked well and SO delicious. My son, who never has eaten chips, ate every chip on his plate and asked to come again for them! The frozen yoghurt of the day was strawberry, and we all savoured every spoon of it. Totally recommend.

Summary - it’s a Nando’s and pretty much like all of the others. This is no bad thing as the food is good and the atmosphere good too. Service was pretty good though it’s odd not having table service (it’s order on the app or at the till).

Service is always great here and the food comes out quickly. Staff are always happy to help with anything

Staff were appalling, we turned up and got given a time to come back. We went to cheswolds for a swift pint to return literally 1 minute and 30 something seconds later to be told by a staff member who shall not be named that are table had gone and that we would have to re wait. We discussed with this staff member what we are on time and eventually gave us our table that was originally waiting for us. My question is why be funny and disturb my partner's birthday celebrations? It dented our atmosphere and night slightly that this particular person thought this style of customer service was acceptable. I believe in future all staff need re training on customer service at nandos. We will not stop coming but would like to see an improvement. Thankyou ... one last thing when eating another staff member sprayed us and our food with disinfectant while cleaning another table, cleaning / health and safety training also needed . Not all staff were bad we had others with excellent communication when something was going to be late etc . Going forward the experience can be alot better than what we received.

Was told I couldn't pay on card and I needed to order on app. When I went the WC people were paying by card at the till.

Food was very good service was good and they look after me my family and disabled child. Do have one thing to pick at though if I want to pay on my card using contactless payment this should be fine and not treated as a inconvenience for the staff as I don’t like using the app to order food and this should fine how I chose to pay

Nice food. Not much instruction what to do. No salt. No vinegar. No ice. No water. Drink refills not refilled. I had tissues which cleaned the tables well. But ate and felt full despite the work refilling everything.

My first time eating at nandos and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the food is. I will definitely be returning.

Visited with family, we have been told it's cash only at the till and we need to order on website if we want to pay card. After scanning the qr code at the table and placing the order, I got a message saying there's a problem with your order, but the card has been charged. Staff at the till was useless and unhelpful. We walked away and went to a different restaurant where I had to ring my bank to get money back. Will never ever visit nandos again.

Nando's is always a safe bet... right? Well no, not in this instance. Went out for a meal with my wife and son. Ordered a sharing platter with 4 sides and some kind of veggie wra, garlic bread and corn in the cob for my son. The ordered wrap was plain which he wanted as he does not like spice. After waiting perhaps 30-40 minutes the food eventually came out. The chips were cold and the coleslaw identified as corn on the cob. Portions were tiny but apparently this is now a thing at Nando's. The plain wrap came with some kind of spicy sauce, so not plain resulting in it being spat out and not eaten. Eating was made difficult by the complete absence of cutlery. Eventually I had to go and find someone to get some, perhaps 20 minutes after food arrived. It's hard to eat mash potato and saucy chicken with just your fingers. Glasses for drinks arrived nice and warm presumably having just come out of the dishwasher. This all cost just under £50 (1 cider and 1 Fanta plus a tao water as the app wouldn't let us order still water) which is a little steep for what is essentially fast food but will ultimately saves us money through not bothering with Nando's again. Previous experience with Nando's in other locations have been fine. Perhaps it was a bad night for them but it also was a disappointing meal for us.

First time we have eaten in here. I wanted to go because of the new feta red pepper did and sharing loaded fries! And OMG how delicious! Please do not take these off the menu they are BEAUTIFUL. There was a lovely lady who asked me to leave a review when i get the email as they were having a bit of a fun contest to see who could get them most. Sadly i have forgotten her name but she was great fun and a credit to your restaurant so i hope she won. We will definitely return the atmosphere was great and it was busy which i love as it makes the food better i think so thank you we will see u again soon xx

It was busy (as usual) but the staff handled it well. Our main problem was the food - we are not large or big eaters but the chicken portions were tiny. I had the double chicken breast (done like a butterfly). It was miserably small. The rest of the meal was fine but it is the main item! The restaurant is fine, nice decor and good location. Friendly staff.

Went at tea time. With my girlfriend stood at the door for ages waiting for a table. Waited ages for food as I watched all the children staff on their phones talking in the kitchen. No ice hardly any sauce selection dirty cutlery only good thing was the food Atleast they done something right won’t be going back to this Nando’s shame

I have not been for years, after a disappointing experience at another restaurant, but we had a child-free day and made the most of it with a visit. We were early for lunch, being the second ones in, but greeted quickly by a member of staff who was friendly, professional and got the balance right with his helpful and attentive manner. This meant we could focus on us with minimal interruption and then the food came. We shared a starter and then I had the chickpea veggie burger. Nothing about the food disappointed and I would definitely have it again. Thank you for changing my mind about Nandos 👍

A great experience on a Thursday evening. Although Nando’s was busy, the staff had time to talk through recommendations provide a good service and be polite and helpful throughout. Feel that people are so quick to jump online and leave a negative review but this Nando’s is genuinely fab. Thankyou for making a quick takeaway on a weekday super easy and thanks to Simon and the team for being lovely and helpful. Would recommend the chickpea pitta and a side of halloumi to anyone veggie, definitely a great recommendation !

Disappointment to say the least. Ordered our food via the app it turned up 1 min later yet wrong… took 4 attempts to actually get our food with no apology. After finally received our food, the chicken was not seasoned, the mash hard, the broccoli cold, and a thick black hair in the coleslaw! If all this wasn’t enough my 11 month old child wasn’t the most pleased as her ‘plain-ish’ chicken had more seasoning then my medium chicken. Her poor face went bright red it and caused a lot of tears. Can’t say i’m in a rush to come back, especially seen as the staff were rude and didn’t even seem to care our meal was awful. Chips was alright though.

The staff were very helpful, the food was great and one of the members of staff went above and beyond their role to help us out.

'Loaded' chips were just chips with peri salt , dried out chicken and cheese,no sauces no spring onions, just lifeless sad looking dish tbh. Chicken was relatively dry,garlic bread slightly soggy,rice sticking together. Customer service just horrendous took about 20 minutes to ask us if everything was OK at which point we just wanted to finish to get out of there so didn't even go to the hassle of telling them as we just wanted to leave. Very very very disappointing for a nandos.
