Great food, great venue. Staff would rather be anywhere else

Far better than other fast food burger places. Really fresh burgers, love that you can build with as little or as much as you like. Chips are amazing, but really big portions. A small bag was easily enough for 2 people. Always very clean and staff are very friendly.

Food is always incredible here but think its over priced it cost me and my son nearly £30 for 2 burgers 1 chips and drinks! Staff are always so friendly and restaurant is clean

A great place I enjoyed the food. However a burger bar is just a burger bar,as fancy as you can make a place or it's products sometimes you just feel like it's all dress up. I had no issues with the time I spent here at all, it just seemed to be trying to hard to be something special. The staff were amazing though and were enjoying the interactions with customers which can be a rare treat in places like this. So overall a great place to go but all the bells and whistles did nothing extra for me.

Was ok. Just wanted a bunless burger but they made it into a full salad. A nice touch but I just wanted the cheese and burger. Haha. Chips were a bit soggy this time. Not normally soggy. Cheese sauce good and mozzarella dippers lovely.

Went in on a whim and was throughly pleased with the overall experience. Good price for very tasty freshly made burgers and chips. I had beef, mrs had Chicken and both were excellent. Portion of chips was really good. Will definitely be coming back again

Ordered burgers and fries and chees sauce got NO BUrgers ! Called urban burger and the response was the driver must have had them! Absolutely disgusting response my kids are bouncing and I’m left trying to justify this abborent discard thanks urban burger

As an American visiting Doncaster, I had the pleasure of dining at what I can confidently say is the best burger joint I’ve encountered in the United Kingdom. The food was phenomenal, and the burger I had was beyond amazing—truly a memorable culinary experience. What stood out even more was the exceptional service. The owner of the chain personally went from table to table, checking in with each guest to ensure everything was to their satisfaction. It's rare to see such personalized attention in chain restaurants, and it really made the experience special. Whether you're traveling for business, like myself, or looking for a great spot to celebrate a special occasion with family, I highly recommend this place. The combination of incredible food and attentive service makes it a must-visit.

"I can't believe we haven't been here until today 😋😶‍🌫️" We popped in today on our way home, we had heard they do a decent veggie burger 🍔😀 so thought "let's give it a go" 😋 we both had a sml burger, picked our toppings, got a large paprika fries 🍟 to share (plenty!) and a refill drink. It came to just under £20 for us both. The burger and paprika fries 🍟🤤 were very good, one of the best veggie burgers I've had in a while, and I only added tomato 🍅, gherkin, Tomato and mustard sauce 🤩 The stores dining area was immaculate in terms of cleanliness! The lad in there was all over it! 💪💪💪🤩 Staff were friendly and the service was quick and easy. Massive range of refill flavours on the drinks machine. I can't wait to visit again 🍔🍟🤤🤩

Chicken burger was really nice, a change to beef but served the same. Chips ordered with paprika but came extra salty and we're really unedible, sadly they were binned. I was happy with my burger and thoroughly enjoyed, was too much hassle to complain about the chips as im deaf. Still, this is the first and only disappointment at Urban. Recommend visiting

Found this place as I was searching for a good burger near the hotel we were staying in. The menu (and look of the place) was very much like Five Guys, but I would say that this place is much better! I got the regular (double) cheese burger with some of the included toppings (nice to see some original options like pepper and coleslaw!). The meat was tasty and juicy and it was nice to see that the grilled onion was actually cooked (unlike their competitors!) The fries were very nice too, and the two of us shared the regular portion and that was plenty. There was an issue with my wife's burger as they added onion instead of mushroom, but I mentioned it to them and they were very polite and apologised and cooked a replacement burger immediately. We both got milkshakes to take away with us which were also very nice. They were very very thick and had good flavour. Although unlike their competitor they use syrups for flavourings instead of real fruit etc. But still very good and I would buy one next time we visit. Overall we had a lovely meal here with quality food and would definitely come back. (The prices are also cheaper than their competitors!)

The taste of a fresh burger is unparalleled and Urban knows exactly how to make it. It’s been my favourite since I moved to Doncaster and every time I have family or friends visiting me, it’s the perfect place to take them to.

was sent to wrong address but driver did come to correct address after a phone call

When we got the food the bread was soggy and the some out chicken wasn’t cooked all the way we had to order for somewhere else as it wasn’t upto scratch I want a refund with this as I paid over 40 for the food in total I’ve booked in to the doctors as my belly is still not right with the quality

Food was cold and late. The salsa dip for the mozzarella sticks had leaked in the bag and to top things off there was a piece of plastic in the cheeseburger

The food arrived literally completely cold. The food was later than expected and clearly they had been waiting to pick up multiple orders at similar times. The burgers we ordered were also wrong (wrong toppings) they were covered in jalapeños which made the meal less enjoyable. We usually love Urban but this one was not good on both counts.

Got my order completely wrong, but I soon rectified it. Foo delicious, best burger by far and paprika chips are amazing! Superb selection of drinks too.

Offer stated “spend over £15 and get free mozzarella dippers” so I spent a few pounds more to make it £15 and I did not receive my free item 😒

The chips were not just cold but freezing and hard and very dry and the chicken in the bunless burger was also freezing very disappointing as I had assured friends it was a good place to eat!

Over ten pound for a soggy burger and you don’t get fries. Absolute ripoff, burger not worth a tenner, then they want just short of £4 for chips.

Coca-Cola missing from my order. Restaurant states unlimited mix ins for milkshakes but you can only choose 3. Comments ignored asking for the extras and no option to add cream like in the restaurant itself. No straw provided for milkshake. Mozzarella sticks were cold. Chicken burger was nice but far too expensive for just that by itself and not quite worth the money. Disappointing.

Very tasty burgers & fries. Similar to a particularly Famous Inventive Very Excellent, Gastronomic Unctuous Yummy Seller of burgers & fries. Except these guys don't have hot dogs and you can get cheesy chips. Highly recommended!

Very much like Five Guys and would rate it similarly in terms of food quality and taste. They offer mixed milkshake flavours which I think is really cool and they actually make them nice and thick :) Staff are great, no matter who serves, always jokey and talkative. Prices are also very fair considering how much e.g. maccies is charging now. And of course its next to the lovely lakeside so you can go on a nice walk after you meal :)

I don’t know what has been changed with the chips; but they are awful! They are so dry…insanely bad!

Really appreciated the lovely gent called Andy who worked front of house today for bringing over a complimentary milk shake after overhearing it was our son’s birthday on our way in! We will be returning again. The food was delicious!

Lovely experience. Greeted at the door and shown where to order and collect. Place was spotless. Food was great and had a milkshake which was lovely. Had burgers and a chicken burger which were freshly cooked and made to our requirements. A large fries to share between 4 of us which was enough. Will definitely go back.

Food delivered stone cold. You should NOT have to microwave a 30 quid meal for 2 before you can try and eat it. Delivery time kept increasing after the order was placed due to 'driver being told' and the driver actually doing nothing! Said this before but this time I mean it- Will not be using URBAN BURGER again due to the unreliable delivery method they employ. If you cant implement it, don't advertise it!!!

I had a stomach upset after eating it and was up all night throwing up.

I ordered a cheese burger with toppings and sauce but you sent a plain cheese burger, not a single topping and no sauce. How is that possible when it’s clearly printed on the receipt! Also the cheese sauce was so hard that no chips were getting dipped. The halloumi fries were also cold, hard and rubbery..not edible! Very disappointed and a huge waste of £57 and a Mother’s Day treat ruined.

Was given grilled onions instead of grilled mushrooms which I dislike.

Being a vegetarian it is so nice to get a meat free burger cooked to perfection, and everything that they serve your food in is I believe 100% recyclable, with collection points as you go out of urban burger. I think the drinks are a little bit expensive but that will be due to unlimited refills, which can work out more reasonable if you drink a gallon at the time. 🥴🤣The disabled parking was was excellent except for inconsiderate drivers that was just they parking in disabled bays, was just pulling in to get out pick up food and I assume taking it home definitely there is ample parking for the physically fit, not good at all but you cannot educate idiots they just don't care.

Worst burger I've ever had I've always gone to Urban Burger on Wheatley Hall Rd, and the burgers were delicious, so I thought this one would be the same. Boy, was I wrong. The taste was awful and the beef burger was as thin as a piece of paper. I wouldn't recommend eating here. I will never return here to eat again🤮

Quite simply brilliant! Andy, Russell and the rest of the team were absolutely spot on. Top notch customer service…the burgers were epic. This is great quality food at very reasonable prices. Large fries at £3.95 were more than enough to share between 2 adults and one 10 year old boy (that eats like a horse). Good stuff team…we will visit again when over from Lincoln. Lincoln branch required - pretty please 👍

An excellent dining experience! First time here and they didn’t disappoint. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff who accompanied us to the order section and explained the process. The food was delicious, well cooked and hot. Excellent choice of toppings at no extra charge. The place is spotless as are the toilets which I find is a good indicator of general cleanliness! The tables were quickly checked and cleaned after diners departed and there was no food on the floor under tables. Overall highly recommended.

First time visiting after an event at the dome over the road and this is now our favourite burger place. Food was delicious, hot and we didn't have to wait. The fries were crispy and cooked in healthy nut oil and we love the choice that coke freestyle gives you. We opted for a mini shake each after with various concoctions and they were fantastic, I wish I'd have gone for the bigger one. Staff were also friendly even when I asked a dumb question about the milkshake mix. I'd love to see them open one closer to us but next time we are in Doncaster we'll definitely be there.

This has got to be the best restaurant around, not only is the food fresh; cooked perfectly in full view of you and with excellent topping choices and served with the best Paprika fries ever but the whole eating out experience is made better with the friendly staff (Brenda, Dan and Co) who make you feel so welcome and take time to have a chat with you. We go there often and I can’t fault a single member of the team. Would highly recommend paying this Urban a visit if you haven’t been before as I do not believe you will be disappointed.

Waited for 30 mins for order to start being prepared, overall was slow and ended up waiting 70 minutes. Food was luke warm, very dissatisfied!

courier didn't read or follow delivery instructions, I had to go find courier, leaving food is cold. very disappointed

Ordered burger with choosen topping burger arrived and they've added toppings like jalapeño which I'm not allowed due to health reasons. I have checked my receipt and it doesn't say jalapeños but they on my burger.

Better burgers than many others out there. Fresh ingredients provide a choice of what you feel like eating and great fries. Love the shakes too.

Wasn’t even delivered expect a full refund absolutely shocking from just eat and urban burger will not be ordering again.

Best burgers around & proper staff/ team that cares

Working nearby, myself and colleagues come here often as the quality of food is exceptional. The beef burger is great but the chicken burger is worth a try too. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The other day for a work do I placed an order for more than 20 burgers, 10 large fries, 10 Milkshakes, and 12 sides. The order was over £250!!! I ordered it at 2pm and asked for it to be ready at 5pm. Come 5pm the food was there ready and waiting with not a part of the order missing. The team here deserve a medal! I cannot recommend Urban Burger enough, it's worth every penny.
