Nice tasty food and plenty of it

I'm a regular customer. The food is lovely & always hot on delivery. If ever they are running behind with delivery (due to been busy) & I call the shop, The lady is always polite. Would definitely recommend 👌

Pickle tray sauces on small side and no mango chutney?? Onion Bhaji was just ok not very crispy. Curries were very greasy & Bhuna was very hot for a Bhuna. Plenty of meat in each though and I liked the open kitchen watching them cook but could be a bit better quality overall.

The chips were rock hard and freezing cold the curry had leaked all over the bag onto everything. Not a great service this time unfortunately

Ordered a few times from here which has been good but last night was different. The food last night was fab looked fresh proper sauce with madras, garlic bread was big and tastes fresh. I don’t know if changed in management but would highly recommend.

Very poor. App showed our order as having been delivered on time yet it took nearly an hour extra (just under two hours from order to delivery) Phoned to ask where it was and was told it would be on its way in a few minutes. Still took nearly an hour from phoning and when it arrived the order was wrong!

There wasn’t enough meat in the curries. Just sauce, the garlic naan had literally no garlic and was no different to standard naan. The actually curry was very disappointing. I took a shot at ordering from these guys and honestly for the amount I paid, I won’t be ordering again.

Chicken Chaat - lovely fresh, deep puri, almost like a naan; flavoursome chaat with lots of chicken. Korma - a thick, rich sauce, again lots of chicken, and my preferred Peshwari Naan was stuffed full of coconut and raisins. Please, please update the app - it reported food on the way AN HOUR! after being delivered.

I don't know how their food is but their online order service is abysmal. I placed an order from their website after checking the physical address on google map, it went through the whole thing, I paid by paypal, money went from my account. Half an hour later, the money got refunded to my account. I called them to ask what was going on and they had never heard of me or my order! NEVER had had happen to me before.. Now I don't know if I would ever dare to try to order from them again.

missed a meal from the delivery then when tried to ring them back shop shut rung the delivery driver who was un helpful got managers number hasn't answered after 3 phone calls the lady who we spoke to knew they had missed it and it was still at the shop but wouldn't deliver it very poor customer services wouldn't use them again

Have ordered here from before and thought it was great, albeit slow delivery times, tonight was no exception with the food taking almost 2 hours to arrive. Quality of food I’d give a 6/10, not quite as nice as my first time ordering, but also this could be down to receiving the wrong curry, however they did accommodate a request to substitute meat in this curry for paneer which was greatly appreciated. Overall nice enough but disappointing to wait so long and part of the order to not be right

Rang the restaurant twice 18:44pm and 7:02pm to check where my food was and they replied out with the drink both time

Every time I order from Poppadom, I get nice, tasty, hot food. The best Indian takeaway in Doncaster.

Went to collect our order and it had been given to the wrong customer. Restaurant communication wasn’t great at first, but was quick to resolve and cooked up our order again from fresh which took 15 minutes or so.

Love this place great food at decent prices friendly customer service I go for there chicken biryani and you get a curry sauce too soo worth it get massive portions and if like your wraps chicken tikka wraps are well tasty now I'm feeling like one checked time they've literally closed under 10 mins ago 🤤

Starters was very cold curry was hot not happy at all

Ordered Vindaloo and a Saag... Greasy rice. Hardly any meat. Sauce was dry. Absolutely awful food. Tried to contact via Just Eat about being unhappy with the food and resolve the issue but advised by Just Eat to leave a review instead. Won't be eating from here again that's for sure.

What can I say , as good as your gonna get when it comes to a takeaway Indian . Never had any worse than a 10/10 from there. Shop and open kitchen is absolutely spotless and the staff are always pleasant. Can’t fault the place honestly

Not too far from my house so I thought I'd pick up a takeaway. I had chicken pathia and garlic naan. The curry was 10/10 sweet and delicious and hot! It was cooked freshly and in a good manner of time. Will revisit more often

Chicken tikka plaza and a lamb jelfrezi couldn't tell what was what both the same taste the chicken dish should have come with king prawns we got one said it was a spicy dish there was no difference between them both I've never seen a red jalfrazie won't be bothering again very poor effort

Food was very nice. Everyone enjoyed snd delivery was a little earlier than expected but that was a bonus.

Ordered food, it was cold when it arrived, about 6-8 pieces of meat in the curry. Ordered and was told 45 minutes. Came just under 2 hours. Had to keep calling, food tasteless, very greasy left most of it, wasn’t worth the wait, first time ordering from there wouldn’t order again.

If i fancy a curry i always use Poppadoms. Best tasting Curries in Doncaster.. The chicken JalFrezi is beaut👍🏻

Delivery was 25 minutes late. Lamb too tough to even get a steak knife through. Waste of money. Disappointed because we are regulars but I’m afraid never again.

We ordered a takeaway and had it delivered,chose a few starter dishes as we wanted a bit of all sorts. All were delicious 😋, arrived hot and only 5 mins later than said. (Just eat)

Food delivered 20 minutes late and delivered to my neighbour and not me so not a good start at all. Starters were pretty poor steer clear from the onion bhajis. Main courses were really really good actually. Worth giving it a second chance

Order never turned up although I had a message to say it was on its way! Having a family meal! 2 and a half hours to be told we can make it again but you will have to wait I won't be using poppadom again and we used to love it there.

This is our 3rd order & we’ve been surprised & delighted with the quality of the food from Popadom. The curry’s are rich & delicious - not oily at all (which we have found with a lot of Indian takeaways). Each dish has its unique flavour profile & the lamb was soooo tasty. This place is a hidden gem!

I called prior to ordering that they could deliver to me on the ward of DRI. Once the delivery arrived ,the driver refused to come in the building.ok back to the food . The prawn puri that I ordered was ok. But the tandoori spicy chicken wings after the first bite I always brought they were off 😞😞 I also ordered the butterfly prawns and it was more batter and Grease than anything else. Would I order again ? NO Would I recommend this establishment? NO OUT OF 5 ....2. that's a hard NO from me.

Biryani was not good in taste It didn’t had the taste if biryani rather it was more of boiled rice with color and spices (a little) and curry which came alond with it was more sweet. Also didn’t got good quantity of chicken pieces given the price of the meal.
