Nice and clean. Reception staff lovely and friendly. Especially the lovely lady on reception last night

I came here for a business trip and the reason I gave only 2 stars is because the receptionist was lovely, but everything else was horrendous! If you want to be up the whole night parting with everyone outside just book one of those rooms facing the restaurant and that's it no sleep for you an entire night! Dunno who made that decision to put bar tables under guests' windows, but that guy deserves to be fired immediately and get a new brain ASAP! If I could give 0 stars for the restaurant I would, but obviously I can't! You order a meal here you will wait at least an hour, and if you are ordering beef don't bother telling them how would you like your beef to be cooked because the chefs have absolutely no clue what is Rear,MR,Medium,MW or Well Done!..even if you complaint to the bar staff about your temperature they also have no clue how a Medium for example should look like! I had a guy convincing me for 10 minutes that my Well Done Beef was Medium, priceless! If you order Fish or Calamari forget about the lemon wedge, because that doesn't go with seafood, of course! The bar staff needs big-time training and education as well! What about the breakfast team? They are even worse! There are almost never fried eggs on the buffet! Even if you stand there and wait to get attention from anyone to tell them that there are no fried eggs, you are just wasting your time! No one will ever come to check on the buffet or to ask you what are you waiting for and why are you standing there! For them is much more important to chat between themselves and ignore you, rather than help you! Lowest of the Low!

Nice location plenty free of parking. Plenty of fast food places. Pub and playgym on the same site as the premier inn. Supermarket and fuel station in the same area. Big lake to walk around. Helpful staff

Stayed here as lay over and upon arrival were disappointed at the lack of premier in only car park. We phoned and were told twice by a slightly irritated receptionist that we should park in the large public car park. We parked as near to cameras as possible as we sensed danger. The lord must have been watching. The next morning, we saw two cars only but a row away with there windows now decorating the car park floor. Their owners a quivering wreck whilst pondering their windy journey back home. This epic near miss aside, we have never visited Doncaster in south Yorkshire England before. We were unaware that it draws it local climate directly from the surface of the sun. The room was a health hazard. Aside from the always comforting premier in mattress, which I had to peel myself from for my regular twice nightly pee (in my 40s you know) it's was a restless night. The shadow of a token £15 b&q fan mocking us in the corner just deepened the wounds. Anyway, a mediocre stay.

Had a lovely relaxing 2 night stay, whilst on a training course. Lovely staff and slept really well. Bar and food etc in Brewers Fayre across the path. Great place to stay.

Can't actually say much about the hotel itself; this was meant to be a stopover on the way to a campsite but I was having an absolute mare with the rental camper van's central locking so spent the night in there to avoid leaving a stranger's van unlocked and unguarded. While I was trying to lock it, though, a couple of ladies from reception challenged me thinking I was trying to break in. If I was a wrongen I'd have legged it, they were rather intimidating. When they realised I wasn't a thief but an unfortunate idiot (they did check my name against a booking rather than just taking my word for if) they were very friendly, so big points on both security and customer service. Can only assume the room was nice and comfy as well, given that my very concerned partner quickly stopped replying to my messages so was presumably sleeping soundly.

The front desk staff was very friendly. They made us check in before 2pm, for which you must pay an extra £10. The biggest drawback of the hotel is, on the one hand, the room, which does not have a refrigerator and that the shower is very high to access and has a handle fixed to the wall above, so if you don't want to wash your hair, things are complicated . And on the other hand, breakfast. You do it in the bar next door. We paid £7.5 for the continental, and there was no coffee machine (it had been broken for a few days) and the toaster is very small and takes a long time, so there is a queue to toast your bread.

Not a great stay here, staff were fantastic however, breakfast a nightmare 1 hour 40 mins to get it on the first day, restaurant closed the second, still waiting for the promised refund, the ultra fast WiFi that one needs to pay extra for was not by any means ultra fast, in fact it was mostly non existent. I have had a refund for this though.

Good location with a free car park. Only criticism is that the room we had No 16 stank of sewage the whole time we were there.

Stayed here in February 2024. Nice clean room, very friendly staff absolutely no complaints regarding that. Only reason I took one star from it is the parking. You have to leave your car in a massive public car park away from the hotel. Lots of opportunities for yobs to get to it and was told incidents have happened in the past. Lake a short walk away great walking round it. Brewer's fare very close so you won't get wet in the rain walking to it. Left a separate review for that. To round it up great hotel except for the parking. Plenty to do in the area. Cinema, bowling, big Asda store and loads of eating places. Recommended if you Don't worry about your car.

Very impressed with the quality and taste of their food. Just a shame it's in an area that has young idiots that bang on the windows and cause a nuisance of them selves. No disrespect to the business though...this is a place to try if you have not before..and go back to if you have. Highly recommended from Daron

Food was ok, not what I'm used to being from down South, however it was edible. I've eaten at several Indian restaurants around the UK and based on the food it's in the middle of the road. The service was great and the guy serving was really attentive. I have been here twice so I know the deal but it was to break up our weekly food options.

Very clean hotel room with excellent customer service. We were worried our hotel room would be noisy as it was above the pub, but it was really cozy and quiet in our room. The beer garden was excellent with good food and live music (which created a great atmosphere.) We were impressed when we asked for a French wine and the bar staff went out in the back just to see if they had one (and offered us their last bottle). Overall, excellent experience. We would highly recommend.
