Premier Inn Doncaster Central (High Fishergate) hotel in Doncaster

Ac doesn't work, room was freezing cold ❄️ 🥶🥶🥶was force sleep with 2 pijamas on

I had a wedding just outside of Doncaster (10-15 mins) and this location was perfect. Travelled up from London on the Friday night and it’s about a 6 min walk from the station so very central. Room was as expected and clean.

Decent rooms for a night, a bit pricey for a single one but it's ok

Staff made it ALL an incredible experience

Hotel is situated right next to a loud night club which blasts music throughout the night.

Clean rooms and good location for food and pubs

I stay here fairly regularly for business. It is always a pleasant stay and the staff are very helpful. On my recent visit I’d especially like to commend Shelly for her great service. I had checked out and realised upon arrival to a work meeting that I had left my phone behind. Shelly checked my room and called me back right away to inform me she would keep it safe in the office to collect. Thanks again for your help! I will be back here again soon!

Great weekend at the premier inn so central didnt drive went on the train for a change so only a short walk to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfy great views across to the church. The markets just 1min away and surrounded by shops. pubs and eateries.A special mention to BERNIE in the restarant who seated us for breakfast a lovely lady .Would definatly stay again

Great city centre location, unfortunately that’s the only good comment, I arrived on 4-2-25 I had no heating or hot water all through the night and the following morning, when I arrived back at my room after work on the 5th I had a heater in my room which helped a bit, the ladies in the reception I cannot fault but unfortunately the manager in the restaurant at breakfast on the 6-2-25 I found rude and patronising. I have been given a takeaway box in a morning as I only eat a croissant and have a quick coffee at breakfast due to timings. When I asked for the takeaway box he announce they do not offer takeaways, I explained I had been given a box every morning and he just responded with we don’t have them nor use them but I’ll give you a small bag. What is frustrating is the manner but was said as they use the boxes for people who wish to take the food back to the room instead of eating in the restaurant, they have them as I was given one the evening before. I didn’t appreciate being made out to be a lier. It’s a shame because the staff in the restaurant over the last 2 days had been lovely and he had ruined the whole stay with making me feel I was wrong for asking (bearing in kind I was advised by the staff they offered this .

Use this hotel everytime I travel to Doncaster for work. There is no free parking however the car park isn't too expensive and the hotel is very conveniently located. Never have a problem with my stay and Cheryl at front desk is very friendly and helpful.

Used it for a one night exploration of Doncaster. Well placed in the heart of town, clean and comfortable. Typically good breakfast. Evening meal was basic, small but very edible. Buy lunch in the Woolmarket ..great choice!

Stayed here on Christmas night after visiting relations for Christmas day celebrations. The car park was straight opposite the hotel, and it was free on Christmas and Boxing day .

It's what you expect - decent rooms at a decent price in a super convenient location

Went there for Christmas dinner. nice dinner, good service and comfortable seating.

Great for location and cheap price .currently housing immigrants I was told and thought I'd seen too. Dirty reception area.. swearing drunks inside and rough sleepers nearby .

I like to stay in this hotel as it's in the centre of everything. Either the restaurant or shopping centre is within walking distance.

Parked in the car park and had the window smashed overnight. Hotel on two occasions closed the kitchen due to a leak and kitchen ceiling falling inn. No alternative it support for food availability when non offered. Main window smashed on another occasion. Not a place I would recommend.

Only downfall to staying here was room service lady walked into our room at 10:30 then again at 11:30 even though we don’t need to check out until 12. I was in the process of getting changed and there was no knock or anything and she just walked in. I felt highly embarrassed, I asked her myself what time we are mean’t to be out of the rooms aswell and she said 12. So unsure to why she tried to come in twice😳. Other than that, great stay!!

Terrible service! Confirmed a booking over a month in advance for a 3 person Birthday event (19 and 20 years old) but on arrival turned away because “no parent or guardian “ even after checking the ID , at 19 you still have to be accompanied by “a parent or guardian “ The manager Cheryl was rude and said “it’s policy please leave” leaving 3 woman stranded, when asked if the could stay in reception to find other accommodation, she rudely said “not here , please leave” TERRIBLE

Good location where you can settle right in the heart of town center lovely staff members, but the service and comfort of this place are not very nice. What's on restaurant's menu, most of it it's not even available, restaurant's closed on monday and wednesday so if you have preordered a table you are ripped off. I can't define exactly where's that alarm noice coming from but it doesn't stop. There's a church nearby which is noisy as well when the bell rings. If you having problems with sleep and wake up easily like me that place is not for you. Obviously this premier inn takes alcoholics because there was that woman that was drunk and was smoking in the hotel activating the whole building fire alarm we had to leave the rooms.Waiting for the fire rescue brigade to come which took and hour. The room where they settled me in had very noicy bathub sink and the guy next door complained to me that I was loud. And last there is a fire alarm check every monday which is very very annoying. There is no included car park so you have to pay your parking stay but most of them don't have 24 hours stay, apart from one which is 5 minutes away called NCP. The reason of my staying was a business trip I had to stay for a week, wasn't getting no sleep at all it was affecting my daily routine and tasks. Everyone's different but me personaly I have difficult time staying here.

All you can eat breakfast was was great, wish the Web site had stated it wasn't a buffet breakfast. Felt a bit awkward. Would probably have not stayed if I knew in advance but still amazing value and food.

Was a great stay at the hotel and Gill made it a great start to the stay helping with checkin

We was recently put there as emergency by St leger due to a repair at my home. Most of the staff were amazing, and extremely understanding of my daughter with severe autism.but in table table there was some that weren't so nice. Moaning that she was stimming and wouldn't choose her meal when it was slightly busier than usual. When I tried to help her I was shouted at and told he had two ears so didn't want to listen to me whilst she was paddying! Told me she'd got no patience even when I explained she was autistic. Shouldn't have to explain no need for rudeness when it comes to an obvious disability. She was stimming quite badly!. Also was here 9 days..not once was our room cleaned. We had to empty the bins in the market place!. We aren't the usual homeless council occupants, we have an home, we didn't want to be here- we was shocked to wake up to a bungalow full of water! I'd never stay at premier again!
