Had a delivery from this Indian o my days the best I’ve ever had food was amazing compliments to the chef

Not the full order delivered missing Popadom and late. However what did arrive was lovely.

Under new management, the food was absolutely beautiful. Would 100% recommend to eat this restaurant.

Sorry!, didn't eat in restaurant but Ordered a Takeaway, which was 'Fantastic!', we Normally order off another 'Local ' indian which is Always Great!, but after receiving a Menu through the post, SO Glad we tried this New restaurant!. Everything 'Brilliant ', Soooo good!, will definitely be ordering from here the Next time. Great. Thanks 'Taste of India '. 9.5 out of 10! Fabulous 👌

It's under new management, we ate inside the restaurant and it was lovely. The staff chefs delivered a lovely service. The new owners are from MK Khans takeaway and they delivered spot on. We could not eat all the food, ended up with a doggy bag to take home. I would deffo recommend a visit.😁

Ordered from here after hearing good things. The food we received was terrible. Runny veg korma, with pineapple chunks in it of all things. Runny chicken jalfrezi with a few cubes of chicken and nothing much else. Naan bread was doughy. Poppadoms looked like plastic. Saag paneer was too spicy. Rice looked and tasted like it was from the super market. I'm not a fan of throwing £30 away on crap food so we won't be ordering from here again.

Ordere a chicken tika masala with pilau rice to take out. When I got home the chicken tika was more liquid with not a lot of chicken. It was tasteless nothing like tika masala thin and runny. There was approx six small pieces of chicken. Also I asked for pilau rice and I got boiled rice. Total waste of money as my wife could not eat it so it went in the bin.

Food was amazing and staff were really friendly. My new go to takeaway for sure.

I've been to this restaurant a few times now, and every visit has been absolutely fantastic. Horrific! This is usually our weekly takeaway however after tonight we will never order again. The food was tasteless and the chicken tasted processed and dry. The chicken pakora was rock hard. The mint sauce was vile. When i rang up to complain i was told there was a new chef and that the chef who makes chicken pakora is “loose cannon and she would speak to him”, i told her i wasn’t going to eat any of the dinner as it was vile to be told she apologises and in the 3 mins i was on the phone the chef had made another one for them to try and it was okay. There was no offer to make a new one or a refund. Very unhappy and i would avoid at all costs.

Awful - raw onions and pepper covered with cooked meat - no sizzle on the sizzler. £140 for our party for poor food and to witness the other party in the restaurant (known by the staff) to be sick all over the floor due to being very drunk, no apology or acknowledgement - will not be returning!!!

placed order at 17:50. was meant to arrive between 18:40-19:00. did not arrive until 19:35. chips was stone cold . had to put them in air fryer . poppadom was soggy and stale. rice and korma was warm . naan bread was only thing that was OK. first time ordering. don't think i will be ordering again. I und it was probably busy but the food to turn up practically almost cold is not acceptable

Food is excellent and plentiful. Bring your own beer.

Food was delicious and huge portions

This is the definitely best Indian restaurant I have found for quite a while service is absolutely fantastic surroundings really good I cannot praise this restaurant enough and take it from me I have been in quite a few restaurants as I am a magician and working quite a lot

Started ordering from here a few weeks back food was amazing, had order tonight no chicken tikka in korma only normal,lime pickle minimal in tub and popadoms came like cardboard

Waited two and a half hours for my order as delivery kept getting pushed back. Struggled to get through to the resturaunt on the phone for the first two hours, then when I finally got through they said food was out for delivery, which then took them another 20 minutes to deliver. Luckily food was hot when arrived, however one item was wrong.

Food good but some of my order was missing, I contacted the restraunt about this issue and was told they would send it out immediately, I live a short drive from the restraunt, I have been waiting an hour and still no sign of the rest of my order

Missed 4 out of 8 items on our order. Sent plain naan instead of naan ordered. Food arrived 1 hour 40 minutes late on delivery time specified. Didn’t answer the phone at all to top the experience off. Food was decent once arrived.

Over an hour late, can't even ring the place to ask for collection instead of delivery. It was so late I didn't even want the food. Pathetic

Amazing food and quality especially with the price you can’t go wrong. I eat here at least once a week and I will be for the foreseeable. Always greeted with happy faces and staff that couldn’t do enough for you which is so important for me. Definitely recommend

Ate from here last week and the food was exceptional. Was a little skeptical at first; as i cook amazing Indian food myself but this did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious and authentic. Customer Service was spot on too and the price was on point !

Selected collection on the website, as it stated 20mins, arrived on 20mins, to be told another 15-20mins, so 40 mins in reality, and they still got one main meal wrong. Never had an issue before, food great though, just need to be more honest with the collection time

I really enjoyed it at the Taste Of India in Conisbrough on Tuesday night. I had a chicken Balti with rice and Naan bread. The only thing I found was the access was really hard. I really enjoyed it. Thank you, Kind regards, Jacob 😊

Order well before closing time and when trying to call no answer they then call us and said the had technical issues with driver when asked to collect the food they said we can’t there closed now even though we ordered when open have had this takeaway in the past but this experience has put me off them for good -1 customer

Nothing but praise for this restaurant. Although they don't deliver on a Friday, they made an exception for us. At the moment, I'm housebound after being in hospital after a serious illness. I explained the situation and placed an order over the phone. Having eaten a takeaway my wife and I are looking forward to trying the restaurant. If I have to criticise, I would ask that they dice the onions in the dishes we tried rather than just slice them. Ordered plain paratha, Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Balti, and Gobi Aloo side dish. All were well cooked and not over spiced. Got to be the best of the Indian eateries in the village. Highly recommend. Really don't know what has happened since I was gushing with praise in my above post. Tonight, Valentine's Day I ordered Lamb and Chicken Balti ( tough chicken, lamb just Ok. Vegetable Balti, very poor just brinjal and mushrooms. Paratha inedible as cremated and burnt on one side ( see pic). I've travelled extensively through Northern India and have never had a burnt paratha. What has gone wrong? Bitterly disappointed with this offering.

Very friendly staff, the young lad who served me was very polite. Unfortunately that's the only thing that was good about my experience. I ordered online for collection, which said 25 minutes, which I always use as a guide but had to wait a while once I arrived. The website also said there was a 15% discount for collection orders, which was never applied. Arrived home with my order to find items missing and the portion sizes of what was there were very small. I called about the missing items, which they did come and deliver, but it took nearly an hour from when I called to do a four minute drive. We decided not to wait and eat what we had so it didn't go cold, but the food was quite bland and the curry sauce that came with the paneer tikka was watery. The paneer tikka itself only had the smallest amount of colour to it and had almost no flavour to it. I'm sorry to say I won't be ordering again from here

New local thought I would try rather than my usual local takeaway food standard rice was dry meat portion in main meal was starter size and lack of flavour I will stick to the other locals shame but first impressions stick with me.

Was a dubious as I'd heard mixed reviews but honestly couldn't fault this place. The food was really nice and full of flavour. The service was polite and fast! Would definitely recommend people to check this place out

did not enjoy the food hardly no meat in the curry the garlic nan with cheese had no cheese on and did not taste like it had garlic on it but I must say the food was hot it was nothing special

Visited with some friends on Thursday 9th November and had a really great meal. The food was divine and the service excellent.

First visit on 9th. Lovely welcome. Food was exceptional. Tasty bhajis. I went with Holly's recommendation for my main. Brilliant. The lamb just melted in your mouth. Really looking forward to our next visit.

Been yesterday first time all I can say food was amazing, very delicious curries highly recommended value for money and the quality of lamb was amazing melted in mouth.

Booked in tonight for 6 of us starter lovely really enjoyed it but when mains came out all dishes were cold so no taste the restaurant was very cold as well paid bill _145 pound complained to manager but wasn't interested won't be back and won't recommend went 4weeks ago and it was very good

First time coming here for my partners birthday, service was amazing and it was all down to Holly! A busy place and she did really well to manage all the customers and presented a smile throughout the courses! Definitely the reason I will come back again!

A lot of restaurants claim they use lamb after having lamb Karahi at Taste of India Conisbrough i was eating wrong today i had real Lamb Curry, Food was amazing, top class service and deco is modern very well presentable and last but not least prices are very good, would defo visit again.

The best tasting indian ive had in a long time and better than current other places in the village. Fresh non greasy and really well presented. Price was fab and bring your own beer was great to. We will be back this is a 10/10.

Outstanding! We deliberately ordered as many different dishes, so we could get an experience of the full range. They did not dissapoint, the service, range of dishes and quality of everything we tried was exceptional! Families most welcome and a fabulous time was had by all. A must do if want a great Indian meal. Many, many thanks
