After hearing good things about this place, my partner and I decided to drive the 60 miles to see what it was about. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent as was the service. We ate from the lunch menu as we had dinner plans later, which we wish we hadn't. There were so many dishes on the specials that we could have tried but chose from the lunches. It was an immensely enjoyable experience and we will be revisiting in the near future to sample the specials.

Absolutely fabulous Sunday lunch, best roast beef I've had in a long, long time. Seafood platter started it off to perfection. The place is so popular that the car park gets packed, much easier to park out on the road where no restrictions exist, just be sensible. Lots of staff on duty ,all friendly and helpful. Just like how it was when the business was based at the Whitehouses in Retford. Worth going out of your way for, booking absolutely necessary to avoid disappointment

EDITED: 17th Jan :Since I wrote this review I have received a message via messenger to say “in light of recent circumstances we feel it best to cancel your booking later this month” - I’m not quite sure what to make of this apart from i guess it confirmed my thoughts that they don’t really care about my custom or customer service. On that basis I’m more than happy to give my good hard earned money to an establishment who does care. We are fortunate in the sense that we have a number of good choices fairly local to us. Shame you can’t put an honest review online without being “cancelled” and it doesn’t need to be like this, an alternative response could have been - we’re sorry you feel like this and we value your feedback. Next time you’re in let’s have a chat. BINGO …. I feel like I’m valued, they get a chance to hear how they can improve. Original post: We love the food but the attitude of some of the staff just isn’t right. We have been in several times as we live fairly local but The gentlemen behind the bar has always been rude, noisy and unwelcoming. This really puts me off and makes me feel very uncomfortable with the guests we take with us. I like the food but it’s becoming a challenge to go. All we have done is visit on a regular basis, take lots of guests with us, paid good money for good food so I don’t know why we are made to feel so unwelcome. We are going again with friends later this month and I’m dreading the welcome coz it’s so embarrassing for us. I doubt if it will ever change so I guess we have to decide to vote with our feet, or not

A real 'gem' of a venue, great food with ever attentive serving staff. A wide menu plus several choices available also on a specials menu. A very pleasant country bar serving exceptional food. Great atmosphere plus you can stay over in adjoining cottages if desired. Dog friendly also.

What a great place for a meal with family and friends nothing was to much trouble it was 5 star service and 5 star for the food would highly recommend

Table for two on 21/12/23 for the wife's birthday at 7pm. We arrived early and the experience from start to finish was fantastic. The service and food were second to none, well done guys cracking job 👌 we will be back

We love this place, every time the food and service is out of this world! If you haven't been here and you love your food you are certainly missing out. We highly recommend the seafood dishes as they are our favourite. Kudos to the team who run the place they do a grand job!

Good food spoiled by rude front of house proprietors. They need to employ people to replace themselves if they hate customers that much. Called to book a 12.30 table and was simply told '12' I replied 'so no 12.30?' again told '12' no sorry or explanation. Arrived , walked up to empty bar, male proprietor old and grumpy behind bar never looked up or acknowledged us. Eventually waitress approached and ushered us towards female proprietor at a computer saying we had a reservation and gave her our name, she never looked up and just replied '10' meaning table 10. Good food, though service was slow, no problem though, they were busy and company was good. Then at 3.00pm shouts' last orders' and starts clearing away then shouts 'time please' like we were in a 70's pub. This is a top end restaurant, not a pub you don't shout time please! We quickly finished our coffees and paid the £250 bill feeling a bit rushed. Both proprietors were present when we left and never thanked us or said goodbye. Also, would have been nice in December to have lit the log burner. Every negative review is about the attitude of the two owners yet they continue to act the same so can only assume they are that busy they think they can be as rude as they please. As an ex publican it seems bonkers as they've got the difficult part sorted. Anyhow I won't be going back - I'll give my hard earned to people who can at least acknowledge me, crack a smile and thank me for my business.

Amazing food and service lovely pub

Found this gem while looking for a place to eat away from busy bawtry in Doncaster. Very nice pub tucked away in the village easy to drive past 🤣. food is amazing and the choices on what to eat are mind blowing There's a normal menu the a few special boards. Staff are very helpful and very friendly they can't do enough for you. Can't give a score on rooms which I've heard are fantastic as I didn't stay. Will be returning in the near future

We had an excellent meal, the seafood platter was to die for and the venison loin cooked to perfection. We will definitely make this our 'go to' restaurant.

Mixed stake and Lobster platter!!!!!

This was my first visit here after reading many wonderful reviews & recommendations from friends & colleagues. We booked in advance as it gets really busy. We arrived were seated quickly & our drinks order taken. The menu is vast & they had 2 amazing specials board so lots of choice to suit all tastes. The food followed & wow was we impressed. We both had the souffle to start, this was very impressive & tasted amazing. For mains I had the chicken stuffed with choritzo wrapped in parma ham served in a lovely red pepper sauce, served with chips & my friend had the venison he said it was totally amazing. Highly recommend here, lovely atmosphere lovely staff will definately be back again soon 10 /10

We were spoilt for a large choice of variety of food. Food is 9.5/10. You can only get better meals only in food specific places but then you don't get this huge variety. If you want to please everyone in your family or your friends then this is the right place. Book by phone in advance. The staff is professional. Portions are very large. 100% recommend

Firstly the food was very good but overpriced. Drinks just as expensive, unfortunately ordered a certain wine and paid for it only to see the grumpy bar bloke provide us with cheaper wine, great. That leads me on to the service. It was dead when we walked in for our booked table and there was staff all over. Nobody greeted us! Trying to order a drink was a chore too. I asked for a certain drink only to be bluntly told it's this and that's it. The same grumpy old bloke proceeded to smash bottles, make noise and obviously treat his regulars, you know the types, with personal service. A shame you couldn't treat us with the same respect as newbies. Absolutely the last time there. And with a bill for over £200 for 3 mains and wine in a pub, I'll steer clear.

Amazing food in a great restaurant. The rooms are incredible and Rachel and Jonathan could not do enough to look after my colleague who stayed for a few nights.

The food and service never disappoints here. The selection on the menu boards are emense. On our last visit, we had chateaubriand, it was amazing and came with all the usual extras. If you're looking for somewhere to eat, this is a must.... you'll never be disappointed. Thank you Paul Dutch Fire Protection

Hard to decide on 4 or 5 stars for this place, however decided on 4... Location is in a gorgeous little village, quite a way off the main road to Gainsborough, not a place you will pass, you have to know its there, and you could easily drive past so keep your eyes peeled! Food is expensive but kinda worth it; tasted good and was well presented. We had mussels, calamari and mushrooms on toast to start, no complaints, all lovely. For main we had rack of spring lamb, calves liver and the seafood mixed grill. The lamb although tasted good and was nice and pink, I think the fat could have done with more rendering to crisp it up a bit. I found the calves liver dish a tad rich and a bit too salty, but that could just be me.. The best dish was the seafood mixed grill, lots of meaty pieces of fish and the price wasn't too bad either, definitely the best value. Service was excellent; friendly and just attentive enough.

Very disappointed to learn this pub has decided to permanently close. The private upstairs room was perfect for small family celebrations. This was the only establishment we found that offered this. The large oval table allowed 17 of us to eat together in a way that facilitated easy communication between us all.It is two years since we visited this pub and not being our local we weren't regular visitors but I am sure for our next special occasion this would have been our pub of choice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, everyone was very welcoming and the food and wine were delicious. We recommend a visit to everyone.

We came for an anniversary meal, and everything about the restaurant was perfect from the ambiance, food and staff.We decided against starters as I had my eye on the cheese board for dessert.For main we both ordered the fillet steak (pricey but worth it) It was absolutely delicious, my Husband proclaimed it to be the best steak he had ever eaten, mine was a little under done but As it was still delicious and a thick cut, I didn’t complain. The waiter noticed I had left a little (the rather rare bit) he asked if everthing was ok. I mentioned it was a little under done. He offered to take it back and give it a little flash in the pan, which I declined as I was full anyway. He came back to take dessert orders and offered mine on the house as the chef had agreed the steal was under done. However I was too full for dessert so they gave me husband his for free. He had the parkin sandwich with toffee sauce, and to say he was already full there was not a crumb left on the plate.Honestly I cannot recommend this place enough.

Went for lunch with friends. It was faultless from start to finish. The chicken and ham terrine was amazing as was the savoury pannacotta and the lamb Wellington for main was delicious. We finished off with an excellent sticky toffee pudding with stout ice cream. These were excellent ingredients cooked with flair. Add to that excellent beer, wine and service. It was fantastic. Can’t wait to visit again.

Hubby treated me to lunch at the Blacksmiths’s, as always our meal was fantastic. It was made even more special by the fact I was made to feel like a VIP by the staff who made up a extra treat sweet plate on hearing it was my birthday, a very kind and unexpected little touch. The team always try to pull out all the stops for their customers and I’d absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice food, but expensive for a pub. It’s really restaurant prices. Good selection though and the food came out quite quickly and was nice and hot. Wine by the glass okay, but very pricey. The pub has a nice atmosphere, we visited on a cold day and enjoyed the fire.

Discovered this wonderful Gastro pub last November and returned for my 2nd visit today for lunch with my husband and friends. The food was once again divine and I could not fault the flavours or presentation . Each dish is unique, taking traditional pub food to a whole new level with their imaginative flavour combinations and little twists and touches that make each dish such a joy to eat. The service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble . The decor is a classy mix of traditional and modern and just oozes a relaxed and warm ambience . It is well worth the 40minute drive to get to this pub as we have nothing as good as this closer to home. Looking forward to our next visit . Thanks to all at the Blacksmiths for a fabulous lunch !!

Visited again on Friday night. Another lovely evening. Wonderful food (love the little touches, they make all the difference) and fantastic service. We couldn’t ask for better. Thank you to Mark, Bradley and the team.

First visit to this Pub/Resturant.A very welcoming bar area. Cold outside so the roaring log burner was a loverly sight.We both chose from the lunchtime set menu. 2 & 3 course deals. I had the pate', it was well presented and delicious. I didn't want it to end!My wife went for the prawn cocktail. This was also very good and tasty.We both opted for the Traditional Fish and Chips. Well presented, well cooked and tasted great with homemade tartar sauce.For dessert we shared (Not much for me) the Lemon & Rhubarb Meringue. It was pretty, colourful and delicious - yummy.The staff were very attentive and professional.The food was very very good and we will return.Well done the Blacksmiths Arms. A+

Called in Saturday lunch time for a light meal after having a ramble around Clayworth. The property was beautifully clean, it looked as though it had recently been refurbished. There was good selection of bar snacks, both cold and hot and a good restaurant menu. For our bar snacks the prices were quite reasonable and we were served by very willing and pleasant staff members. In all we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.We noticed that if you had a function to organise they do have a pleasant room upstairs with a large balcony. It would be great on a warm evening.

Visited this pub last night and very impressed with the decor. Great atmosphere for a large establishment. Food was excellent and service very attentive. Decided to try Blacksmiths as a late choice and only phoned to book a few hours before. As a couple and not seated till 8.30pm I suspect we were lucky to get in! Anyway, had a great night and will be back in larger numbers, congrats!

We took my mother and daughter for Sunday lunch today. We had the best meal we have had for years!The staff were all really friendly helpful and professional. The fish pie, roast beef and roast pork were exceptionally good and the puddings went down well. A great meal and we cannot wait to return!!!

The team at the Blacksmiths can be very proud of the experience that they delivered on our recent visit for Sunday Lunch. Each course was cooked to perfection & well presented. The service was exceptional & the staff were very attentive.

I’d like to say how amazing the blacksmiths was for my grandparents diamond wedding anniversary party - the food, the service and place itself were all so good. I would recommend as an excellent venue for a great get together.

Went with two friends to celebrate joint anniversaries. Beautifully appointed bar, mix of old and new. Bedroom (the forge) looked as though it had just been decorated, o so comfy (and huge) bed. What i will never forget though was the Marshall speaker - proper class! Evening meal stunning, from what i recall after 5 bottles of wine, and a bottle of lemoncello, courtesy of the owner, who is a top bloke. Breakfast was the perfect hangover cure, perfectly cooked all local stuff. Spot on!

We met up with friends which was about halfway between Grantham & Leeds I countdown not have been better we all chose the roast beef it was superb one thing we all liked was there was no desperate dan portions. We all had deserts and coffee what a wonderful experience we would recommend this pub for a good meal

Its been a while since we visited and were not disappointedWe arrived quite late one Friday evening but I feel we were treated like the first customers through the door....w eww ere met by 'Mark' and his attentive staff at the bar, and although as I say it was towards the end of the evening were not rushed in any way.We enjoyed our drink and were then showed to the table.I enjoyed the game faggot which was 'to die for' and my wife had the pate, which was equally as exquisite.She had the steak, cooked to perfection, and I the fish pie, which I have to say was awesome...... various 'trimmings' came to follow and all in all a great mealW e finished with coconut rice pudding, and a cheesecake, which finished off the dining experience to a tea.I didn't have tow to write this before we returned on my wifesa birthday some 6 days later, and to be fair, it was equally as good, I would heartily recommend this , and we will be returning as soon possible.

Staff were very polite, diligent and professional. Food was amazing in a relaxing atmosphere. We definitely recommend this venue! Good sized car park and easy to find. As all toilets were upstairs, noted a disabled toilet downstairs, well done!

We absolutely loved the Blacksmiths. The manager and all staff were superb . We were upgraded to the suite which was just beautiful. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. A really attractive and comfortable pub. We will definitely go back to stay on our next journey to the north.

Our second visit....it could easily be more but this is our 'special occasion' go to. Such a lovely, high-end rustic place, comfortable and welcoming. Tables are well-spaced, so you have privacy to eat and chat. Service is nothing short of excellent. And now to the food....quality ingredients and so well-prepared. It truly is an absolute delight from canapes to coffee....and everything in between. My absolute favourite place to eat....by miles. Simply superb.

A real treat, make sure to book as it is, deservedly, very popular. My companion is vegetarian and she had a whole menu to choose from. The choice was excellent. I had a traditional roast, the quality of the meat was excellent. The highlight of the whole experience was the excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble and they were friendly as well as super efficient. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

We went to The Blacksmiths Arms to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Despite being early on a Friday lunchtime time, there was still a few other diners, giving the place a nice buzz. The service was great; timely, polite and not too intense. Great food, savored every mouthful and portion sizes just right. We had a discussion with staff about dairy free options, as we would like to bring our family, on another occasion and one of our daughters is dairy free. Childrens menus and a vegan menu were produced quickly and we were assured that if we let them know we needed dairy free before we came that they could make sure dairy free ingredients were used for our daughter's meal. Impressed with their helpfulness. We will be dining there again.

One again we visired the blacksmiths for a family lunch , the food was of the usual high standard , apparently a new chef has now arrived to continue the great menu this is our favourite location in the areas

Our first time here after a recommendation from a friend and we weren’t disappointed! Five of us dined and every course was delicious! The lamb rump melted in your mouth it was so tender! Lovely staff and atmosphere. We will definitely return.

Excellent, food and service absolutely magnificent, cannot fault the crab starter delish, hake with the mussel veloute to die for,and the cardemon bread and butter pudding with clotted cream ice-cream is heaven. food to die for. We will be back again soon😀

My husband and I stayed overnight in the Farrier Room and had dinner to celebrate my birthday. We have previously dined here a couple of times, most recently previous to this for a Sunday Lunch (approx June 2019) which was probably the best I have ever had.Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our room. The room was beautifully decorated and had robes and plenty of toiletries should you require them. The room was spacious and well designed. Dinner was exceptional, very tasty, fabulous and friendly service and the wines chosen for us were delicious and complemented our meal well. Breakfast the following morning was relaxed with croissants followed by a full English which was well cooked and used quality ingredients. We had a lovely stay with absolutely no complaints! Would definitely recommend.

After what I described as one of the best Sunday lunches I’d ever had few months ago to the worst was astounding and extremely embarrassing, I took my family and two American friends for Sunday lunch and I’ve got to say the service was extremely slow after20 mins of waiting to be served the starter came and wasn’t good, another 25/30 mins the main came the beef was full of fat and raw and chewy another 40 mins later they decided to ask us if we required sweets.the Yorkshire puddings were extremely small and almost burnt and like rubber. And with a bill of over £360 for 9 adults and four very small children we all will never return there again.Totally disgusted and very embarrassed to take my American friend there . All I can say is it seemed to me like they had new staff and chef.

Called in for lunch yesterday, our first visit since the arrival of the new chef and it didn’t disappoint. All the food was excellent and the service impeccable. The peppered meringue which came with the blackberry leaf custard for dessert was a delight, certainly set the taste buds alight. We will not leave it as long before we return.

I found this place online at short notice for an evening meal. Mark the restaurant manager was very helpful and managed to arrange a table. What a great treat it has been too. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. The highlight of the meal was the desert, one of the best I have ever had (and that is saying something from someone who has some experience in the industry). The blackberry set custard, with pepper meringue and blackberry sorbet was incredible. The fillet steak was very good too! Thank you to Mark, the kitchen and rear of the team for a great evening.

First visit with friends who had highly recommended this restaurant. Very impressed with the quality of the food - the roast beef was stunning (unless you prefer your beef burnt to a cinder!) and melted in the mouth. The portions were generous and the service very friendly. The wine list has some excellent wines that are generally sensibly priced.

Not been here for a long time - new menu and a great lunchtime menu with two courses for £20. Excellent quality, very tasty and good portions. Nice wine list too.

Our first visit to the Blacksmiths and it will not be our last. The ambience was most relaxing and the food was quite exceptional. Every course surprised and delighted us and was cooked and presented to the highest standards and I have no hesitation in saying that this was one of the finest meals we have ever had. And if this was not enough the staff were most attentive looking after your every need. A most enjoyable dining experience.

Having been for Sunday lunch the previous three Sundays because this place is so good we thought we’d try lunch on Saturday. Superb! My partner ate from the a la carte and I chose from the lunch menu. The tomato heritage salad was exquisite and the spelt and pea risotto was fab. My partner had the crumpet followed by the duck which he said was incredible. He chose the chocolate desert and I had cheese (a slight variation from our normal sticky toffee pudding!) and I am afraid I may not be able to share a Sticky toffee any longer as he declared the chocolate desert so good! Service impeccable as always. Will visit again soon

Visited with my parent and our family’s for my 30th, we had the privet large room upstairs, it’s so beautiful with the balcony and perfect for special occasions plus the staff can’t do enough for you. We’ve had amazing food every time we’ve visited and looking forward to coming again soon.

First time visited for Sunday lunch and defiantly won’t be our last . Food was cooked to perfection . The staff were all young , however they were excellent . Very attentive and nothing was too much trouble . We have never been anywhere with young staff that were so good . A real credit to the establishment . Two very happy customers .

We dined here last night. It was our 2nd visit and cant wait to go again. The food was very well presented and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and the wine waiter very knowledgeable. I had the dressed crab for a starter and it was lovely..If I had to make a criticism it would be the little slate plates with amouse Bouche (complimentary) weren't cleared away before our starters arrived. Not a big deal and they were removed as soon as I asked

Great little Inn and restaurant. Traveling with a work colleague and we took 2 rooms in their hotel and then met customers for dinner. The rooms are spectacular; very well appointed. 1 room was the "Forge", which had everything a traveling person would need, wrapped in tranquility and comfort; bed was very comfortable, shower was powerful and roomy. The otters room was the "Foundry" which was 2 levels and suited to long-stay with room for 4, including washer/dryer. Dinner in the Restaurant was inventive and very good quality... for breakfast, the eggs Benedict were among the best I've had. Ellesha, the manager seemed to be there around the clock and was very helpful and took great pride in her work.

Oh my goodness what can i say about my birthday meal with you, I want to congratulate you for a wonderful night. The staff were sooooo attentive and professional , the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was the best ever congratulations to the chef, cannot wait to return, thank you for a wonderful night. Visited the blacksmiths for Dinner with friends last night..the food was excellent, fresh, tasty and served well by friendly helpful staff.. Excellent food today, cooked perfectly. This place has become my favourite to eat at. Service is always impeccable and the food combinations are always delicious. The courtyard outside is a lovely place to eat in the sunshine, or just sit, drink and chat. Really missed coming here when it was closed for food recently, I was so happy when the restaurant reopened. Can’t recommend this place enough. Looking forward to my next visit already!

Lovely place, great atmosphere and brilliant attentive service. Food very good quality, well put together small menu. The manager and barman gave great wine advice too. The more economic ‘pub’ menu is a great idea too, although we went A la Carte. Would definitely recommend! The filet steak and duck dishes went down especially well, pigeon starter was ever-so-slightly over (for my taste) but still pink and very tasty. Desserts were a delight - especially the chocolate marquise (?) and cherry sorbet!

Another faultless evening at this stunning village pub and kitchen. The food is always of the highest quality and presented to standards you would expect in five star city restaurants, this is superbly complemented by attentive but not over intrusive staff all put together to make the visit memorable. Our fish and shell fish main courses we nothing less than sublime the champagne chilled to perfection. We’ll keep coming back for more.

We came here on that wonderful Saturday evening at the end of June.We were a party of six,and were given the option to eat in or out,we chose the latter.A very spacious garden,with nice quality furniture and some lovely water features which made the whole experience very relaxing.The menu was not overpowering,with just a handful of starters and mains to chose from,which was ideal.The quality of the fayre was “top drawer”,unfortunately we had to retreat indoors for our main course,as the rain ps came down.We did manage to go back outside for deserts and enjoy the rest of our evening in the tranquil garden.Just a quick word on the staff,extremely friendly and polite,they were also very much “on the ball” with their observations.Looking forward to return again.

We have just had a fantastic evening at the Blacksmiths’s celebrating a special birthday with family and friends. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very special. The place is beautiful and the meal was superb . The service was excellent and special mention goes to Brad who looked after us all so well. Thank you to all the team for making the evening so memorable.

We have eaten here before but this was the first time with the new Head Chef, Kirk, his new team and his new menu. It excelled our expectations. The food was exemplary. My partner and I are both lovers of a good pud but the lemon verbena pudding was utterly divine probably one of the best puds I've ever had - borderline genius that one. Saying that, my partner said the same about her sticky toffee pudding. My fish dish, the halibut was so fresh and aromatic - it was like being sat on the beach - some lovely light touches. Lamb main was delicious. Starters very intelligently put together. We didn't leave one scrap of food. We will definitely be back.

Food was wonderful. Far from ordinary. It was quite simply excellent, as was the service. I cant wait to go back. Not cheap pub grub, just a gastronomic delight to be savored!!

After driving past local pubs that were permanently closed or for sale, we came across the Blacksmiths and what a great find. We were made most welcome, the dogs were allowed in and also made most welcome, bowls of water arrived for them straight away. We just had drinks, sandwiches and chips, but they were delicious and well presented. The interior of the pub was modern, light and bright and the staff very well trained. Will be back!

Not been here for a few years, but I must say it exceeded my expectations today. The place was just as I remember. The staff were polite with impeccable manners. They are a credit to the pub owner. The Sunday menu was excellent with enough to choose from and at a ferry reasonable price, the only issue is the toilets are upstairs which is not good if you have mobility problems. Other than that an exceptional place and meal

My fiancé booked a table for us for a romantic evening meal. We had eaten there before for his dad’s 70th and the food and service had been faultless then. We were a bit apprehensive, knowing that the chef had left. But the new chef is doing a splendid job! The food was stunning! We had chicken pâté and beet & sheep cheese salad for starters, halibut and lamb rump for main (the lamb was exceptional, so rich...) and the big highlight for me was the plum and almond tart with brown butter ice cream. I was expecting a little slice of boring tart but was served a mini tart, booked to order, completely caramelised just like a good tatin would be. Amazing! The service was good, and hat off to the gentleman who works front of house as his service is simply faultless.

So glad this place is back serving food. It was exquisite, faultless, and awesome. Been here several times but this was by far the best ever. Fantastic kitchen team, and seamless smooth service from front of house. Checking diary to see when we can visit again. !!

From making the booking, pre dinner drinks, menu, food, to paying the bill, staff helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Not cheap but you will not regret a visit to this excellent restaurant.

Perfect setting for a very intimate wedding. Delicious food and extremely pleasant staff without exception. The hotel rooms are like something from a magazine. Stunning and very stylish. I would come back here to eat and to stay without hesitation.

New chef, nearly new kitchen team - and running on full speed better than ever. First visit after change of team recently and it was superb. Sunday lunch was probably one of the best we have ever had out. Puddings divine. Front of house fabulous as normal. Will be going back to try the new evening menu next week. Brilliant!

Great personal and attentive service. The premises are freshly done out and create a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The food is wonderful - the chef is superb, especially for the vegan menu. We could not have asked for more. The bonus is that we could also take the dogs in. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to attend the reopening Sunday lunch today. The food was out of this world, service excellent, and Mark and his team worked to make a friendly welcoming atmosphere. A big thank you to everyone. We expect to be back soon.
