Excellent food.steak pie is tdf.the fish is cooked fresh in front of you.not hanging around all day in the glass display warmer.dirty chips amazing.the choice of selection in this local chippy is outstanding.above and beyond.im lucky to be local.

Had a problem with our order through Just Eat so we called the store Halifax and spoke to a lovely young lady and her manager and we explained the situation and they was very helpful and quickly resolved the situation. Highly recommend! 👍🏼👍🏼

amzing place! best mixed grill in town! so if you looking for a mixie as they call it, don't go anyplace else! even went the extra mile to make cocktails Main thing is this an authentic Indian restaurant, of which the owner is an Indian! We met the owner Vikas, great lovely humble guy, id definitely recommend the place. items to try chicken tikka Manchurian chicken veg Manchurian lamb chops (not listed on menu) king prawns tikka butter chicken daal makhani plates were hot, before we got served so it was a great experience would definitely recommend, we came from Essex but we usually goto the Leeds's local big chains but this beats them all 🙏🏼 keep it up!

We have eaten here several times, usually with 5 or 6 people. Food and service are always good. Easy parking.

Outstanding pub serving a huge selection of ales and craft beers. Great service and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to set the world to rights with friends. Pork pie snacks are also quality, but you're not here for that.

Menu wasn't really for me so had the sharer platter board to myself 👀 great staff, great portions for both starter and mains, very reasonably priced.

Closed January for refurb it’s now March and still shut !!!

What can i say from start to finish i can not fault tina and handys catering at all she has done the catering twice for us now and both times have been absolutly brilliant plenty of food and everyone at our party was saying how lovely the food was if ever we need a caterer again we will certainly be using tina handys catering Fabulous

Lovely little find in Halifax. I have been a few times now for lunch with my friend and always had good food. The owner Hassan is a lovely guy. On the latest visit, tried the lamb shank and the meat was lovely and tender and just falling off the bone. For my taste, I just sprinkled some salt and it was perfect. Finished off the meal with a pot of aromatic saffron tea 🙂

Great pub with plenty of seating and numerous big screens if you want to watch sport. Quick, friendly service and amazingly reasonable prices. Glad they don't serve food - stops it from turning into a creche, like so many other pubs in the area.

We keep going back! The staff are all very friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere. There always seems to be lots of people there and we book in advance (on line is easy) They bring you a bread roll or mini baguette with butter before your meal which is a nice touch The food is lovely and you get exactly what it says on the menu… no silly sprigs of green or dustings of herbs or salad, just the food! I usually get the Calzone and the garlic bread is thin and crispy with a tomato drizzle and light cheese topping, totally Italian. The sauces are full of flavour and very morish. Everything comes perfectly cooked and arrives swiftly and they’re very reasonably priced as well - Bargain!
