Paradise persian Restaurant in Calderdale

Lovely little find in Halifax. I have been a few times now for lunch with my friend and always had good food. The owner Hassan is a lovely guy. On the latest visit, tried the lamb shank and the meat was lovely and tender and just falling off the bone. For my taste, I just sprinkled some salt and it was perfect. Finished off the meal with a pot of aromatic saffron tea 🙂

Don't be discouraged on how small it is, the taste is brilliant. Wow this place is amazing. The food is so tasty and tender. I had the meat stew 🍲😋 the meat just falls off the bone such a natural dish. The tea was my favourite it's very natural with a sweet flower Tast to it. You get some dates with it ,omg they are soo soft they melt in your mouth. The kebabs were natural taste the smell of them cooking on the coal smells divine they was delicious. I would reccomend this place very clean and nothing is to much for th staff.

Homemade cooking, tables were not cleaned enough, the value of the food is acceptable 👍.

From the outside, all you can see are two tables and the counter but upstairs hides a cozy room with a small amount of tables. This is a classic "don't judge the book by the cover" restaurant. The warm welcome and smell of charcoal sets the mood for a personal and attentive visit. Once we had chosen our drinks (Persian teas) these were delivered with a plate of biscuits and Dates. We then ordered our meal, alJoojeh kebabs and Mast O Khiar. Wow. The chicken was so tender and cooked perfectly. The rice was white and yellow, coloured with saffron, and the yoghurt came with small rose petals on the top. Absolutely amazing and very good prices. The host was so charming and wanted to ensure we were happy and comfortable. A lovely restaurant and we will be back! Highly recommend.

Really loved it. Chicken wrap was yummy and the sauce with that was so delicious. Grilled chicken was good too. Wonderful food. Must try.

Food was amazing and the prices were really cheap seen as you don’t get grilled food cheqp nowadays . Great service 👍🏽

Very nice food must be tried it will be well worth it lovely family run business makes you feel comfartable and the desserts are best all fresh and homemade
