I would never visit this restaurant again. My wife and I booked a table for our anniversary & when we arrived there was only one other couple in the restaurant bar area & no one else. Despite the fact that my wife requested to be seated at a table in the bar area, we were "strongly encouraged" to sit in the back, with no other customers there & zero atmosphere.Just after we ordered drinks another couple arrived & were seated with the others in the restaurant bar area.At that point we decided to leave due to the appalling way we were treated as paying customers, When they realised that we weren't happy, the staff made lame excuses for placing us on our own in the back of the restaurant. I wouldn't spend another penny here & definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good food ,good service , plenty parking

Nice food, I think the main menu is a little bland, most of us ate off the specials. The staff were lovely. The one thing I will say is that the steak on the surf and turf was totally overcooked. And while still tasty it was requested as rare and it was medium at best.

What a little treasure this place was to stumble across. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive but not intrusive. We will definitely be visiting more in the future.

Just been to the steak night. Service good, food - (we paid extra to have the fillet rossini) almost perfect. Let down unfortunately, by serving a peppercorn sauce! with it which overpowers the dish. If you're going to serve a classic dish, at least get it right. A real pity, because apart from that the cooking was excellent.

Top quality food, great service with excellent staff

Attended for a Christening. The staff are very friendly, but that was nothing compared to the food, which was out of this world. I would go as far as saying the best italian food I've had in the UK.

Fabulous afternoon here for my grand daughter's christening. Amazing hot Italian buffet with such variety; salads ( not your average) arancini balls ( gorgeous) spicy chicken, pizzas( loads of different ones)onion rings, fries and so much more. In a lovely function room with space for the children, lovely tables really well presented and clean with excellent service. I cannot rate this highly enough as they made our family get together so special.

Nestled in remote hamlet. 2Amici has ample parking. Greeted very warmly by our host. Was quiet for a Saturday night so got to choose our table. Service was good not overbearing but attentive. Food was brought out very hot and with a good gap between courses. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Would definitely go again now I know it's here. Atmosphere lacking but I out that down to not being overly busy and a very boring birthday table sat in silence almost next to us!! I had brie and berries to start followed by gnocchi and then a huge bowl of mixed flavour ice cream. We all shared garlic tomato bread.

Had a fabulous evening at 2amici to celebrate a birthday. Great service & delicious food. What more could you ask for. Will I go again, 100% yes.

Having driven past this restaurant so many times, even though we live less than a quarter of a mile up the road from it, my daughter and I finally decided to visit in September. Since then, we visit very nearly each week. The people are fabulous, the food is fantastic, and it’s become our first choice eatery for very good reason. We absolutely recommend 2Amici for a relaxing atmosphere, great food and truly hospitable hosts.

We have been to 2 Amici three times now and the food, drinks and service have been absolutely fantastic. I just wanted to give huge shout out to Tony, who is absolute superstar and he is a huge credit to the restaurant. Made our date night very special after a long stressful couple of weeks! I’m very glad we just live round the corner, as we will back very soon! Thank you!

First visit here and I was so impressed with the friendly staff and the food was outstanding. I felt like I was in Italy. Really looking forward to going again, especially as the prices are pretty reasonable too. Top notch!

Great little place, delicious food, good service and a fair price

A brilliant local Italian with great food and excellent service. We will definitely be back. We visited for my wife's birthday and they really looked after us and the family, including the kids. A regular for us now, where we always get looked after.

Quite noisy ,we went on a sunday, food was lovely although service was a bit slow, would definitely go again though.

Visiting the area for the day and searched for and Italian near our hotel. We were welcomed in by polite and professional staff, the food was exceptional! Restaurant was clean and well decorated and had a warm and friendly atmosphere. All at a reasonable price! If we didn’t live in Scotland, we’d be here every weekend👍🏻

The staff were pleasant. The place was comfortably. The food was lovely. BUT the service was dire. We arrived as a party of 13 pre booked at 6pm but were nearly the last to leave at 9pm. Waiting nearly an hour for our main course. Won't rush back.

This restaurant has always been on my Visit list! What an amazing food and atmosphere! We ordered Sirloin Grill and Lobster ravioli and it was beautiful! We visited on a busy day but staff was on point and very attentive.

We have been coming here regularly since it opened and we love it, especially because Alfonso is so friendly and wonderful with the children! The food is amazing and really well priced. It’s always a lovely evening and we love going somewhere where we know the staff and feel so welcome.

Amazing food and service! The chefs clearly know what they are doing - authentic taste, fresh ingredients and great portions. I would highly recommend the seafood. The staff are extremely friendly and attentitive, there is a great buzz about the place. Even their cocktails and coffee are delicious. I honestly can't fault 2amici. A must try if you haven't been before!

Went yesterday Sunday 2nd of July and took my elderly parents for a meal. Absolutely fantastic food, service and atmosphere. We have been wanting to go here for a while, and what a beautiful place the food was amazing too. Do not hesitate to go here get running ... I had the garlic mushrooms for starter and the steak it was all just amazing. Other pics are from a few others who we ate with. There was a party of 22 of us and non of the staff broke a sweat the food came out just as we would expect it to. Thanks to all of you

Had dinner few times here and i can easily say that its a masterpiece place. Reasonable prices, and food its great. It is my favourite restaurant. Staff is lovely, location its very nice with a great atmosphere. Lovely for couples or families but to be fair even if i was alonge i would go as food it taste amazing. I would advice fish dishes as the quality is top, however every dish seems to be superb. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. WELL DONE

I am not generally a pizza fan - been disappointed sooo often, but what I just had from here has given me cause to reconsider! I think the last time I enjoyed a pizza this much was on Sicily 12 years ago on our honeymoon! Absolutely what I want when I think of pizza, outstanding, highly recommended!

This review has taken me a long time to write as I promised to write it after my first experience at 2Amici's but it has taken me several additional meals before actually writing it. Hopefully, this will allow me to fully reflect how much my family and I love this place! From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted warmly and treated to an experience that makes you feel relaxed and at home. The food and service has never disappointed in our numerous visits, regardless of whether we walk in with a party of 10 with no reservation or a small intimate dinner for two. My family has taken great joy in working our way through the extensive selection of classic Italian dishes on the menu and found them to be cooked to perfection every single time. Add this to an excellent wine list and you have the makings of a memorable meal. Last but not least, the staff are warm and welcoming, providing a "family" atmosphere that enhances the excellent food and drink. In short, you owe it to yourself to visit 2Amici's at least once but I suspect that having eaten there, you will return again and again!

This restaurant is amazing, first time visiting the food we ordered was mostly sea food options. The fresh scallops just melted in your mouth so fluffy and light. The sea food with egg noodles were so delicious full of flavour and tasty. We ordered the pizza which was crispy and full of amazing different flavour. The waitor gave us 2 shots for free which was really nice and reccomeded his specials for the evening. Will be returning again. I do recommend you visit.

Mothers day treat for me! Surf and Turf x2 from the specials board at only £27!! Fillet steak too- cooked to perfection (medium). Scallop starter and calamari starter- so fresh and the batter is nice and crisp but melts in your mouth. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Ice cream went down a treat with my 2 year old at only £1 per scoop.

Very friendly front of house. Efficient staff. Homemade bread was delicious. Good quality food but quite pricey. Salad was dry and needed more dressing. Pizza and pasta was fresh and tasty. Lots of families in. I would recommend but slight room for improvement.

Booked last minute as out walking with my son and nephew so a little but worse for wear. Although we turned up a little weather worn we were treat like royalty, lovely service and amazing food. The Crevettes are absolutely delicious and fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Whilst the food was absolutely amazing it was the warm welcome and the time they took to make not only myself but the kids feel welcome. I cant rate it highly enough Thank you for the amazing experience and I will be bringing the parents next week.

Been at 2 Amici with my family for my birthday, food was of top quality as always, and services was even better than last time I’ve been there. A big thanks to Alfonso the manager who turn a normal birthday dinner into a great and friendly family time, food as always it’s amazing, can’t recommend enough this place. The chefs with Albano at the steering wheel made a nice performance quality food. I could be eating at 2 amici every day and never get tired. Thanks a lot 2 Amici for the great work and amazing food. Wow new to the area, we usually eat at the big one who recently celebrated a Hollywood star, but end up disappointed as a table for two on a Saturday night is impossible to book as it can be used by four. Well where to start, mussels best ever tasted as quite literally that sea fresh taste with melt in the mouth plumpness. The crab and avocado starter was a true competitor. The main fish platter beyond amazing, and lactose free sorbet with limoncello hit the spot as a desert. Fabulous restaurant, we’ve booked two more returns up front, it’s going to be our local favourite and as fish eaters can’t recommend it high enough. Such a lovely welcome see you soon and can’t wait to return. Chris and Howard. Supporting local great businesses because they absolutely deserve it, Out second visit for Valentine’s Day was equally as good as the first, hectic night for staff fab food.
