Excellent pub, extremely well kept beers and a top class selection. Regularly hosts great local bands/musicians and hosts a beer festival every year. Very cosy pub, especially in winter when the coal fire is roaring.

Discovered the Cross Keys about a year ago. It’s just half a mile from where I live and I absolutely love it. So friendly and welcoming, and the beer is great.

We live in Oxfordshire and call in to this pub when frequently visiting Halifax. It has live music every Sunday. It's a very popular pub and we are always made to feel welcome.

Regular live bands, charming oldy feeling pub. We have only been there twice but both times were very good. Gets very over crowded in the beer garden. Beer price is average/normal for the area. Mainly focuses on real ales over lagers. Worth a visit

Had a great time at the at the Cross Keys on Sunday 17th April. First ever visit, went with some friends who live just round the corner. Friendly people, great selection of real ales, very pleasant bar staff and landlord, and a good live 80s band, what more could you ask for....Well worth a visit.

Beer is superb, and the gents has Oates and Green urinals!

Brilliant pub this, Hugh and his team do a great job of making you feel welcome, lovely traditional pub with loads of character, amazing selection of cask ales, great outside area with regular live music on, I highly recommend this pub, top notch.

The Cross Keys is an awesome pub. You always receive a warm welcome from the Landlord Hugh who is incredibly knowledgeable about all things ale. The beer is always spot on and pulled to perfection. They have a good variety of ales, always sourcing the best. Premium lager is also available. Don’t feed the pub dog. She’s not starving no matter what she tells you! Live events are always great fun. Make sure you have the day free after your visit to recuperate.

Called up on Saturday. It was belting it down with rain but the outdoor (covered) seating area was fantastic. Dry, warm (electric heating) and a great selection of quality ale (as usual). I never leave this place disappointed with the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome you receive.

Great venue strictly adhering to Covid regulations with large marquee covering sizeable amount of outdoor seating. Currently limited range,but good, real ales. Excellent service considering the Covid limitations.

Great pub, Landlady and Landlord . Constantly changing real ale cellar , all well kept . The ethos of the way a pub should be , no juke boxes fruit machines or mass produced lagers/beers . Regular live bands producing a great , friendly atmosphere. Regulars and occasional visitors are treated to a warm and friendly welcome
