Had the lunchtime 4.95 deal - seekh kebab lamb, naan and mint yoghurt side salad. YUM! Will be back. (we were at the Brighouse 1940s event - fabulous - very well attended!)

Burning ring of fire like Johnny cash had a madras n boiled rice...very warm n georgous...can't go wrong with the ballet.

Absolutely brilliant service, the owner is just a joy. She really brightens up the little pink house the tea rooms are located in. The seating could be a bit better as we had to sit on a concrete step. Other than that 100/10! Stunning!

A wonderful cafe in Brighouse serving a variety of food and drink. Staff are very friendly and really do care. The cafe is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. People with food intolerances are catered for. Well worth a visit

Stayed for bottomless brunch on saturday 11th January was absolutely lovely the food was nice well presented but the 2 ladies servers upstairs who waited on us went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed our drinks were topped as needed all with a nice thing to say and a smile would definitely recommend and will be going again

The Meze, Brighouse is on the same Street as Wetherspoons and a fabulous Venue for fabulous food. Me & my girlie friends have been a few times, this particular time was to celebrate belated Christmas.. The staff are so efficient & Friendly. We ordered starters and main. I ordered the cheese filo samosa s and lamb chops, with a side of amazing creamy mash and roasted vegetables. Delicious. My granddaughter, daughter & I will be going back to Meze one evening next week, cannot wait. See you then!!!

Brooks is a must visit destination restaurant. We travelled from South Africa to dine at Brooks. It has fantastic small plates a very good wine list and an amazing proprietor. The wine list is extensive and has a number of special International wines. The food is innovative and tasty. Put this on your must visit Leeds itinerary.

This was only our second visit after a good experience about 5 years ago. Last night wasn’t as good as we remembered it. The staff we had need some more training, very pleasant young people but we were told our ordered wine was no longer available even though on the menu. We chose another bottle but then was brought a completely different one! The waiter who seemed to be in charge told us the young man was incorrect and our first choice was still available…… too late as it had been opened and tasted. The waitress when clearing our plated dropped a knife on the table, shattering a whole glass of wine and didn’t seem able to organise herself to clear up the mess. Not much of an apology although we didn’t make a fuss about her mistake, another waiter took over , cleared up and provided 2 more glasses of wine. It’s a good job red wine did not stain our dark clothing. The food was tasty and enjoyed by all except the veggie pizza needs some tomato sauce under the veg, it was very dry. Reasonably price and happy the service charge was not added and I was able to leave a smaller tip than probably I would have originally left had the service been better.

Really lovely experience overall. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The server took care to ensure we understood the menu and chose a dish which suited our spice preference.

The food was really nice, small portions for the price, drinks expensive, staff and service fantastic.

Myself and family visited The Tannery for their ‘steak night’ and had a wonderful time. The staff were attentive and friendly and there was a nice atmosphere all round. The steak deal was fantastic value for money and cooked to perfection. All of our steaks came exactly as asked, top marks to the chef. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu, so can’t comment on that, but steak night is a must for anyone (vegan option also available). Highly recommend.

I cannot understand all of the great reviews. The restaurant was not inviting. Food OK. Staff OK. Did not want to stay any longer than need be due to there being no heating.
