Fratellis Café Bar in Calderdale

Popped in after charity shop shopping today for a bite to eat. Been past it before but never been is. Lovely staff were very welcoming and attentive, the burger was wonderful and the place was clean and nicely decorated. Will definitely be back

WOW!! I have tried, other cafe around but if you want good food, this is definitely the place, taste food with a difference.

Excellent roast beef, onion and gravy sandwich. Loads of seating upstairs.

Had my lunch here yesterday and it was delicious. Service excellent, staff are all lovely. Decor is very nice and the place itself is very cosy. Highly recommend.

Came with my daughter for festive afternoon tea - our kind of tea being Prosecco. Was delicious. Homemade quiche, sausage rolls, festive sandwiches including pigs in blanket, mince pies, cakes. All absolutely top class. Brilliant little cafe bar and a great addition to brighouse. Will definitely be back.

Very good breakfast and coffee my new place to eat

Such poor service. We walked in and were told to take a seat and someone would be with us to take our order. 15 minutes later we still hadn’t been served. In that time two other tables sat down and were served before us. None of the staff acknowledged us after we sat down so we didn’t even order before we got up and left.

What a gem, came here after a unplanned trip to brighouse. The staff were so friendly we was 5 mins late for ordering breakfast but they still made it us. Will defo be coming back! The coffee was massive too which was a bonus because I'm always disappointed when you get a tiny cup 😂 Thank you

Had a really good breakfast here with my 2 young daughters who also demolished theirs. The mocha was a 10/10! Staff really friendly and kept my kids entertained. Highly recommend

3rd July I entered the newly opened Fratellis to be greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. I was unsure what to order, until the array of sweet treats caught my eye. I ordered a slice of Victoria Sponge and a pot of tea. The cake was light and airy, not sickly like a lot of sponge cakes can be. There is more on offer here than the previous owner(s) had. There is separate menus for drinks, breakfast and lunch and gluten free options are available on the foods produced which will cater perfectly to those with gluten intolerances. I shall review their Lunch menu over the next couple of days and will write an honest review of the food as I have here.

I was going to go for a Spoons brekkie. However I asked where a local independent cafe was. I found myself at Fratellis. Positives; First thing- Greeted with a smile! Good quality food. Well presented decor. Nice ambience. Locally sourced produce. Wheel chair access friendly (Apart from the toilet). More than reasonable price. Overall a pleasant experience. Lovely Mocha with an extra shot. Negatives; No black pudding/Hash browns.

Always go there for a coffee not over expensive well made nice staff not keen on the steps so stay downstairs yes I keep thinking it will be pricey next time but no.

I had my baby shower here, all the staff were absolutely amazing, so attentive and such an amazing deal for what we got! They closed early so we could use the whole cafe. The food was incredible and they made sure any dietary requirements were catered for and didn’t feel like they were missing out. Everyone was raving about the food and how lovely it was. Could not recommend more!

Had the full English breakfast. I don’t understand why people think £6.50 is an unreasonable price for a full English with 2 sausage and 2 bacon. Fresh eggs, fresh tomatoes instead of out of a tin. Great food, polite staff, great price

I had Full English Breakfast it was cold. Their wasn't a great deal of breakfast.i only eat the breakfast because my sugar levels was low i paid good money for it i wouldn't return for food again and it felt like a months wait for it

Husband and I had Full English breakfast with Latte's and it was beautiful. Freshly made and very good portion size. Staff are lovely and helpful and keep it clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

We've just been for a family lunch at Fratellis and have all thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly and efficient staff, delicious food in generous portions, reasonable prices and lovely atmosphere. We will be back and would highly recommend.

Called in this cafe on the 8th whilst in Brighouse for lunch,my wife had jacket potato with ham and cheese and I had tomato and basil soup with crunchy bread. The food was hot and well presented by friendly and courteus staff. Will visit again,in my opinion good value for money,not exhorbitent prices.

Very friendly staff Clean and tidy. Nicely laid out, clear and simple menu. Lovely bacon sandwich and a loose leaf english breakfast tea for £5.50 which was fantastic value. I'll be visiting again.

Mother had a baked potato have to bed but it wasn't cooked the bacon I had wasn't cooked whole way through as for well done didn't come out

Warm welcome. Friendly and efficient staff. Coffee good. Shame they don't offer a vegetarian/vegan breakfast. No vegetarian sausage 😞 Would be a welcome addition to their menu and make it more inclusive.

Lovely food made fresh, friendly staff and a comfortable layout. They even made a nice mocha, something I have found to be a hit and miss with most cafe's these days.

Quite small downstairs area. More so with social distancing, but there is tables upstairs. Toilets upstairs. Quite steep so would be difficult for elderly. We went late after 1pm and ordered chilli jacket pot. But they had run out. Staff did offer alternative tho. Pleasant enough but feel too small for busy lunch hours. A bit on expensive side too

During all the lockdowns I have ordered a total of 4 afternoon teas as presents for family and friends. They have all been delicious and very well received by the recipients. Everything about the service that Matty and his partner offer is excellent. Ordering, delivery, presentation and deliciousness all first class.

The staff including Zoe are very welcoming and friendly and the meals are always 1st rate. Would recommend.

The staff are lovely and so is the coffee. We were disappointed with salad this week though, very basic not normal great standard
