In a holiday cottage for a long weekend, ordered several meals and starters, delivery was very prompt and the meals were delicious.

We were looking fur somewhere for a coffee whist charging our EV. We are on holiday from South Shields. This was a great find with a fabulous friendly couple who made us so welcome. The plum cake was homemade as was the brownie! Both absolutely gorgeous. Coffees were nice too. Brilliant table service and visited the immaculate toilet. All Covid friendly. An absolute gem of a restaurant. Authentic Italian food. Top notch quality and generous portions. Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommended for a visit.

Our first visit, just passing. Certainly won't be our last! We were lucky to get a table and there's a reason for the high demand. We found the place excellent! No they're not greasy spoon prices, but then this a million miles from a run of the mill caff. Attention to detail was evident, not just from the proprietress "test driving" the table next to us, but also in the delicious locally sourced ingredients and the (unique in my experience) blankey and hot water bottle to take the chilly weather away. The service was fantastic, warm and welcoming, and the place oozes rustic charm. We arrived before a bit of a rush. I'd advise booking to avoid disappointment. With reference to other reviews, I have to confess I didn't try to consume the toilet, but it did seem perfectly ok as a convenience!

Highly Recomend! Absolutely one of the best pubs I've been to in a long time. Food by their Chef Jojo was absolutely amazing. Made fresh and in great time. Hope to visit again soon. Great Pizzas "his lordship" had phenomenal flavours. The loaded chips were brilliant.

Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. Fab pub food and good choice of drinks. Log fires and Heidi the cat, such a great place.

Unfortunately, no food isn't available. But there is always a fine selection of real ales available.

Amazing, authentic Italian food! Lovely, friendly staff and relaxing ambience and Italian feel. Would eat here all the time if it were local to us. Food was ample and not expensive, will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic meal for two. We shared two of the nibbles to start - Korean belly pork bites and fried jalapeño. Both delicious! Mains were tasty and such a generous portion. Would definitely return and recommend

Service was fine, lady serving was pleasant. Had been told the food was good so we thought to try it. Steak and ale pie was cold and congealed, chips looked as though they had been microwaved. We were both ill shortly after arriving home. Not recommended.

Excellent service and communication. My mother in law has dementia and the staff went out of their way to make her comfortable and allow her the food she requested. The manager also took special care of her and the rest of the family - good humoured and accommodating. The food was first class and the restaurant is gorgeous, thoroughly reccommend it.
