Excellent service and communication. My mother in law has dementia and the staff went out of their way to make her comfortable and allow her the food she requested. The manager also took special care of her and the rest of the family - good humoured and accommodating. The food was first class and the restaurant is gorgeous, thoroughly reccommend it.

Fish are normally very good and a good size but the fish we had today was very thin and overcooked. If reduced fish portions become the norm then I will no longer be a customer.

Really sad about experience here. Order a lot, had one bad meal and we called saying it wasn’t good we could return it for refund. Was told no refunds but can give us next free as we order same. Called and it was refused, became a really difficult argument basically where a manager took over and I could hear the owner say she’d refuse to cook for us now, I highlighted its unprofessional and they offered a refund so they don’t have to cook for us. My husband went to get the refund and they were apologetic to him but heard too much over the phone that wasn’t acceptable. We’ve always gotten along with the owner too so it’s sad to hear her say things about regulars.

Staying at Olicana Park called the restaurant, ordered, rang at the gate on time, food was delivered piping hot and I’ve got to say the BEST takeaway curry I’ve ever had! Well done guys ❤️

Been twice, gave benefit of doubt first time, last night again, missing items from order. Food is good it’s just a poor service when bagging it up clearly. Spent £45 and missing items 😩 Thats 2 in 2 for George’s Place. Will give a Rice Bowl a bash next time.

There were also lighter options like fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereals, catering well to all tastes. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay — attentive without being intrusive, and always happy to help with local recommendations or any requests. The overall atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great choice for both solo travelers and couples looking for a peaceful retreat with a personal touch. I’d definitely return and would recommend Steeton Hall Hotel to anyone looking for a charming B&B experience in the Yorkshire area.

Very comfortable room. Nicely decorated. Breakfast was good. The chef was very adaptable. Enjoyed the time spent there.

This is our third visit in three weeks for Sunday lunch, we have been to so many places locally and not been impressed. The value for money, amount you get and taste hits all three ,it’s always piping hot and tastes great, competent staff and always with a smile if you have not been here please give it a try you will not be disappointed

We stayed at the hotel for the night so we thought it was easier to eat in the restaurant before we went out as we had an event on at Dalby Forest. When we checked into the hotel we were asked to let them know if we would be having dinner in the restaurant, we said we would be but wasn't sure what time, that was all fine but they said it might be busy. We went down to the restaurant around 6pm and it was dead. There were quite a few in the sports bar but the restaurant itself was empty. There were 2 waiting staff on who both spent most of the time looking at their phones. The menu online was entirely different to what was given to us in the restaurant. The online menu made the food sound a la carte but it was pretty basic, usual pub grub menu- steak, burgers etc. I ordered a medium rare steak and my partner had a burger. My steak was OK and it was probably medium rare but it was quite tough and bland and nothing to be excited about. I cannot remember the exact amount of the total bill but we did think at the time that it was a bit over priced for what it was. Wouldn't recommend unless that's your only option to eat out. Not impressed.
