Great friendly service with delicious food. Cost atmosphere and prices and specials available were great. A wonderful stop as I drove down memory lane with my parents. A highlight of my time in the countryside and one I’ll tell my friends about when I return home to Australia.

This pub is always warm and friendly. The staff are all courteous and polite. My wife and I regularly call in for a drink and always receive a warm welcome. I can certainly recommend Sunday lunch

What a brilliant meal here again today, hunters chicken is fantastic. Ems had lasagne and I did get food envy when it came out. We'll be back again soon.

Went with cousin and mum for Sunday lunch. My mum had chicken and we had beef that was cooked to perfection with two slices that were almost as thick as steak. Good sized Yorkshire pudding and selection of vegetables on plate was amazing, roast potatoes, roast parsnip, buttery mashed potatoes, mashed carrot and turnip, red cabbage, Savoy cabbage carrots and plenty of good tasting gravy. We had not realised how big the meal would be and ordered cauliflower cheese which was very tasty as well. Will definitely be going again. My mum made a really good effort with her meal and thoroughly enjoyed it which was amazing as she usually struggles to eat much. The waitress was very helpful and polite. Overall an excellent meal and would recommend to family and friends.

Really nice pub. Very friendly staff and immaculate inside. Spotless. Called when they were working towards a menu change and weren't really expecting to serve food. Barman immediately said no worries he could accommodate jocking even if he had to cook it himself.

We stayed at the hotel for the night so we thought it was easier to eat in the restaurant before we went out as we had an event on at Dalby Forest. When we checked into the hotel we were asked to let them know if we would be having dinner in the restaurant, we said we would be but wasn't sure what time, that was all fine but they said it might be busy. We went down to the restaurant around 6pm and it was dead. There were quite a few in the sports bar but the restaurant itself was empty. There were 2 waiting staff on who both spent most of the time looking at their phones. The menu online was entirely different to what was given to us in the restaurant. The online menu made the food sound a la carte but it was pretty basic, usual pub grub menu- steak, burgers etc. I ordered a medium rare steak and my partner had a burger. My steak was OK and it was probably medium rare but it was quite tough and bland and nothing to be excited about. I cannot remember the exact amount of the total bill but we did think at the time that it was a bit over priced for what it was. Wouldn't recommend unless that's your only option to eat out. Not impressed.

This place seems to divide opinion judging by the reviews but we thought it hit the spot nicely. Yes, the owner does invite you in if he spots you looking at the menu but we felt able to walk away, check a couple of other places and come back with no pressure. Sat out the back where there is lots of Bronte and Railway Children memorabilia on the walls. Even on a dreary day there were decent views over the valley towards Crossroads. In the summer the terrace would probably be lovely. We had homemade lentil and vegetable soup each, two sandwiches served with salad, pot of tea, bottle of water and a toasted tea cake for £25. For Haworth that’s not bad. Food was served quickly and was good, solid, no frills stuff - ideal for a grey autumn day.

Great coffee and cake, but a real shame they stop serving food so early, it was only 2.30pm. Cafe was clean and warm and good value though.
