The best Italian food I've ever had the pleasure of eating

I know its recently been taken over, so initially we were worried there would be a difference in the food, but the food was amazing! I would defiantly recommend coming, great variety of choices, specials and brilliant value for money. Staff were really friendly. Its very small so definitely book to secure a table!

This restaurant has been a favorite for a while. Last visit was disappointing. Their team dealt with so many takeaways that they neglected their dining in customers. Service was very poor and slow. Food was of a good quality. Not as good as previous visits when they would have scored excellent.

Had a fabulous meal last night (Saturday). Food was delicious, house red great wine, staff took great care of us, atmosphere brilliant. A lovely little Italian restaurant in the heart of Silsden

Small restaurant but with acres of charm. Good range of specials, excellent food at really good prices. We are not locals but if we were then we would be regular visitors.

VISITED AUG24 and congratulations to the new owners. Still excellent food and amazing value for money. Was offered a complimentary garlic bread to start which was lovely.. within 30mins of arriving the place was packed and buzzing with customers. Total bill came to £60 with tips and that included wine. Such good value for money. RECOMMEND 5* Love this place. Amazing staff and owners.. colourful restaurant and above all amazing food. Take away pizzas also.. thank you

6 of us went to Stefano's on a Tuesday night , it was busy but made very welcome. Service was excellent very polite and thoughtful. Very impressed with the food which we all agreed was superb and very reasonably priced. My family are already harassing me to go back! Apart from a nice draught ale I don't know how the evening could have been improved. Absolutely excellent food and service.

Awesome food but takeaway is a joke. 15 mins on hold then I arrived at the place still on hold. Not the first time this has happened. Got told 30 more minutes for a pizza? What a laugh, get rid of the takeaway if you can't do both.

Bill was incorrect which took some time to sort out which dampened the end of our meal. The food was nice however, I had the Cannelloni and would recommend. I will also return to give a second chance because mistakes happen.

Fabulous authentic Italian food from a super nice couple in a little cosy restaurant with a great atmosphere.

Fabulous meal this Sunday. 5 of us had the special, that was a beautiful large piece of pan fried haddock, with an accompanying dish of 3 lobster raviolis in a superb cheese sauce, with the always great lyonnaise potatoes. The other 3 also greatly enjoyed their specials. Thank you to everyone at Stefano's for a very memorable meal

Busy for an early sitting this Saturday so book ahead. Small and packed with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was fantastic as well as being excellent value, great range and good specials. Friendly service, lovely place to eat.

We were taken to Stefano’s as a birthday treat by some very good friends. What good friends they were! Stefano’s has the most delicious traditional Italian food we have ever tasted here in the UK and in Italy itself. The menu had some beautiful dishes as did that day’s specials, expertly recited by our host for the evening Elisabetta. We really did enjoy true Italian fare with a very wide choice of pastas and pizzas and many fish and meat dishes. Every choice was freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. The setting is very quaint and has a great ambience. The staff are excellent, nothing was too much trouble, with a lovely complimentary fresh pizza bread and a liqueur of choice, to begin and end our meal. We will be back very, very soon to return the experience of the birthday treat for our friends. If you are in the Yorkshire area, Stefano’s is an absolute must, you will not be disappointed. A little piece of true Italy in Silsden!

Simply divine. These people truly care about your experience. I didn't expect all the little extras they threw in free of charge. I won't say what they are because it's a lovely surprise!!! The food was excellent with a real home cooked feel about it. It looks like a family team in the kitchen. (You can see through to it) They are clearly very organised and have a great system. The only strange thing was the main guy there wearing what looked like his pyjama bottoms! Chequered pants! I had the Bologneise, and it was perfect. My wife had a Penne vegetarian pasta and loved it. The deserts were Italian and unusual. I never knew Lemon Tirimisu was actually a thing! It was delicious! The maitre d' was a wonderful warm mumsy type woman! She made us feel very welcomed and delivered entertaining bubbly chat! All staff were attentive, helpful and very pleasant. The girls all wore a black outfit that added an extra professional edge! The waiting time for the food was very reasonable. The chairs could maybe be a bit more comfy. The cushion part on the seat was a bit thin for me. But then I'm a big heavy man! This is a very small gripe and is in no way a deal breaker for me! We will definitely go back.

We had a nice meal for the family here on a Sunday afternoon. I thought it was very reasonably priced and service was good. I did think that the children's menu was great value.

Always great service and fantastic food - you won’t go home hungry. They also cater very well for different diets. They work extremely hard in a small kitchen to bring everybody’s food to the table at the same time.

We often go to watch a game at Cougar Park on a Sunday and it would be nice to visit Stefanos beforehand. However opening at 2pm does not leave us enough time to have a meal so we have had to go elsewhere - any chance you could open a little earlier?

Been going to Stefano's for years . Such a tiny restaurant with such a great menu . On this occasion we had the house red 1 litre , the tomato and garlic complimentary pizza which is delicious . Main course chicken and pork rolandhino which was 10 out of 10 . You must try and book a table at Stefano's !

The food is excellent and they really make the customer feel special. There is a copious specials menu of innovative dishes. They often give a free complimentary pizza starter, and some free liqueur drinks afterwards. A place not to be missed.

Absolutely top Italian restaurant, packed every night it's open. A lovely family close knit feel to the place and the food is fantastic. With complimentary garlic bread, bread basket and a classic limonchello shot to finish.

Would give 6 stars if I could! Wonderful food and people, you'll have to book, though, it's deservedly very popular.

Generally food was ok and i would score it 3 out of 5, sadly only 2 as combined with poor customer service. Pizza was probably one of the worst i have eat from italian restaurant... Some of the mains were ok, probalby my mums special hadock with praws and sauce was the best, sadly my main which was a piece of chicken breast in mushroom sauce, was quite dissapointing, very small ( half a breast ) and a bit bland. My partners pork crodon blue was ok but nothing special. Disspointing amount of sides, we were told that each main comes with side of potatoes, once mains were serived we got a one small dish with potatoes for all 3 mains?, had to order and pay for another portion ( they were tasty though ). Side vegetables were charge at extra and very dissapointing, bland, overcooked and just meh. We have also ordered two desserts which were really bad.... Eadible but not a restaurant quality. Eaton mess was a mess and pavlova was an eaton mess on a plate... Overall dissapointed.

A small family run restaurant with wonderful tasty food. A standard menu with lots of extra special dishes provided. So pleased to be able to get a table whilst we were in Silsden and enjoy a very satisfying evening here. Best food we have tasted in a long time

Update. On our last two visits the collection time ran a way overdue, had to wait an age. The food is still excellent but doubt that we will order again. Just had a takeaway, lasagne, garlic and tomato pizza, mushroom and pineapple pizza and complimentary sautéed potatoes. All were absolutely delicious with the lasagne deserving a special mention.

Stopped here for a bite to eat with work colleagues while passing through Silsden and really enjoyed our pizzas, calzones, fries and garlic dip. Tasty food and great value for money. Would definitely return.

Great food, nice staff, and overall a very nice feeling place to be. Pizzas especially good from my experience. Only criticism I can say is it’s a little small for me, but if you like a very cozy restaurant where you end up talking a lot, that’s not going to affect you whatsoever, really nice restaurant all around

The food was amazing. The main menu is quite extensive with all the usual pizza, pasta and chicken dishes. However the Specials are exactly that. Very Special. It's a smallish restaurant with a quick turnover between patrons. Service is very good.

You wait 45 mins for a menu and then find out that half the stuff on the menu is out of stock. Communication lacking and the food quality really wasn’t what it was hyped up to be.

Incredibly disappointing. They were super slow with service - it took well over half an hour for our orders to be taken, just to be told they were out of a number of items on the menu, including all pizzas as there was no pizza dough left. As it was over half an hour into our booking, we had already started with drinks so it felt too late to leave and look for another place. The food we did get served eventually (we got in at 7:30 and started eating just before 9 pm) was at best mediocre - it is almost as though along with half the ingredients they also ran out of will to make something that could pass for semi-enjoyable. I honestly do not recommend. In my experience this was one of the very worst Italian places I've been to.

Maybe they were just having a bad day but I can't see why this is so highly rated. Service was slow, there's only about 7 tables and it took 45mins before we could order and then nearly another hour to receive the disappointing food. Meatballs were over done, pizza was greasy and overloaded with cheese, chicken seemed like a frozen goujon, the pasta dish was reminiscent of a ready meal and it all tasted mediocre. Many items on the menu weren't available (we got the very last pizza dough) and we were only told this after waiting so long to order.

Instantly loved this place and I will be back. Food is beautiful. One of the nicest meals I've ever had. Thank you.

Great food, lovely to have such a place in Silsden. Could improve telephone ordering for everyone's benefit - it's way too noisy in a busy kitchen. And Publish the specials each week, instead of the poor staff having to repeat them over and over to callers. Generally very good, but a recent unfortunate experience had us waiting around for 15 mins after the due time to collect food at the back door. The guy who answered the call bell looked in the heated bag, said it wasn't our order and disappeared to find it - we thought. He never returned. When we ran out of patience and rang the bell again a member of staff came out and said our food was there in the bag. She didn't apologise, suggested it must have been the washer up that had been out earlier and that they didn't speak very good English. Daft. £50 worth of food...

First time visiting Stafano's on recommendation. It was a date night with my husband and it was really quite charming. A very cozy, familiar atmosphere. The food was very tasty, cooked beautiful and spoilt for choice with lots of delicious sounding dishes. Nice authentic touches, with complimentary pizza bread and liqueur. Coffee was very good! Will certainly be back.

Consistently good food from here, the meatballs are particularly good. Pizzas are always great too. When we get a takeaway they always give us a extra portion of potatoes.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant! Fitted us in at short notice, service was friendly and swift, food amazing and incredibly good value. Lovely people - we will return!

Gorgeous as always great food great staff what more do you need

We visited whilst on a canal boat holiday. The food and service were both excellent! We booked a table in advance which was probably wise as the place was full of happy groups of diners. I was told they do two evening sittings; 6pm and 8.30pm. We chose the 6pm. The staff were very attentive and the food arrived promptly. Stefano himself was cooking and the kitchen is visible to the diners so it feels like a real family experience. We were made to feel very welcome and I just wish that we didn't actually live 80 miles away because we would be regulars here! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the UK. Always have a faultless meal and service. The Calzone is a favourite. Either the seafood one or garlic chicken Kiev one. Ask for their specials menu and you will struggle to choose because it is all so good!

Hands down the best pizza I have had in my entire, and I feel I can say this with a level of authority as I have been to Italy. This place definitley lives up to its reputation.
