We booked for a group of ten of us from Spice Social. This pub catered for our dietary requirements and served a delicious Sunday lunch, hot, with generous portions and at a sensible price. We were pushed for time as we were on a hire boat and had to get back to Skipton, but the service was fast and efficient. Really really good.

We stopped in Silsdon on our canal boat cruise. Loved the Robin Hood. Informal, homely, delicious pub food and fabulous service. Patty was particularly accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.

Dropped in for lunch on a walk between Skipton and Saltire. Nothing spectacular but staff were friendly the toilets were spotless and the chilli and rice I had was very nice but really spicy for me. Would definitely go again.

We went on a Sunday evening and the pub was quiet. The beer was well kept and good value. Two of us had the Sunday lunch which was very tasty, the meat was a little over cooked for me but others would disagree and the accompaniments were excellent. One had the chicken and leek pie which was really good, excellent pastry.

I was on my bikee and stopped for a pint . Couldn't believe how reasonable the price of Tim Taylor's Landlord was ! Excellent beer . Then I ordered a small all day breakfast ...oh wow 😳...a fantastic varied meal fit for a prince or champion of the Tour de France! A truly wonderful meal .This pub and it's real ale n grub is a real Yorkshire gem !! I will be back

After a long drive , we wanted a quick wholesome meal before heading to our holiday cottage . Good service, an adequate menu and the food hit the spot . Tasty

A lovely little pub . We were on holiday locally and walked to the Robin Hood to get something to eat . We ordered, the food came in a reasonable time, polite service, tasty and great value . The pie wasn't just ' stew with a lid ' , I was a hap-pie customer . The chilli con carne would have been ace if there were a few nachos as well .

The food was very very good cocktails amazing we were not expecting it to be the high standard it was, unfortunately can't remember name of our lovely waitress but she was really nice to us

Very busy on our visit it was Gala Day. As you would expect well supported by the local community. Outside seating. Dogs allowed.

Three of us just had different meals and all agreed there was a good choice and every one taken was brilliant. Excellent quality, quantity and presentation. Can't believe the place isn't packed!

Lovely pub with excellent food and great, friendly service. Had the southern fried chicken with sweet chilli sauce, Hunters chicken nachos and an apple pie, all cooked brilliantly! Coffee is great too!

Great little pub. We asked for the darts on the Sky Sports staff got it on straight away. Fantastic real ales (a very well kept Timothy Taylor's Landlord). Landlord is a great guy and had a great craic with the regulars. Highly recommended.

Found this lovely wee pub while on holiday. We were wandering to Silsden along the canal and just popped in. We were looking for a quick lunch but ended up eating delicious Maid Marion Burgers washed down with a pint each. ( £25) We sat outside as the weather was dry but its lovely inside. This pub must have the cleanest pub ladies loo's Ive seen for a while and who ever thought of the hinged cubicle doors deserved an award. Ill be back later this week!

Simply can not fault The Robin Hood. We had planned to eat in the Punch Bowl up the road, following a six-mile walk but were told (rather rudely) that the chef had just turned everything off when we arrived just before 13:30. So glad that happened as we ended up here where we had a really good, traditional pub lunch and it was extraordinarily good value. Steak & ale pie, chips and peas under a tenner, chilli and chips at £6.95 and wine and a pint £7.90 - that just doesn’t usually happen these days!!! Really friendly welcome too; skip the Punch Bowl and head to straight to the Robin Hood!

After walking along the canal from Kildwick. We were in need of a drink and some food. This little pub with the friendly landlady was great. We had some very nice food. Unfortunately, they had run out of Penne pasta carbonara, so I opted for a jacket instead and hubby had scampi. Which was very good value. We had 2 courses each and a drink, nearly £30. 😊

My wife and I visited this wonderful pub three times last week (late March 2023). We were welcomed by the Barmaid Patty, and we chatted to some very nice locals - Sam in the corner was one of them and a delightful chap he was. The ale was great and the food superb. My wife had Chilli con carne and me the Chicken, Ham and Leek pie with mash and peas on the first evening. Second visit was for just a drink after we had moored our Narrowboat. Third visit was that evening and we both had Steak and Ale pie with mash and peas. Delicious and again, Patty welcomed us back. Recommended to anyone who likes good company, food and drink.

Visited today for a drink and quick snack at c 2.30 when most of the cafes & small restaurants in Silsden were closing. Enjoyed a panini and chips, freshly cooked in a characterful traditional pub saloon bar, dedicated to Silsden's World Champions. The cleanest & tidiest pub i have ever visited.

The Robin Hood is an example of what a pub can be and should be. Friendly staff, good range of well kept ales, warmth of a wood fire and best of all one of the finest pies (chicken, ham and leek)I have eaten in a long time.

I left my new iPhone Daily Mail and pen in pub on the table where I was sitting I phoned up and Chris the manager had it safe and ready to collect. It was my silly mistake but there are not many pubs where the same outcome would happen so I would recommend it. The food is good it’s clean and tidy and drinks good Tom

We rang and booked lunch for 12 midday. We weren't told that the pub didn't actually open until 12 midday. We had to wait until 1pm for lunch to arrive, we heard the staff constantly asking if it had arrived ( we could only assume that this was the pies we had been waiting so long for). When the lunch arrived it wasn't cooked properly, the steak was tough, the pies were flat cold In the middle, the suet pastry wasn't cooked and was almost slimey. The chips were only half cooked, hard In the middle. The meal was definitely not worth the hour we had to wait. There is also no parking, so all in all not a very good experience and certainly wouldn't want to eat there again. They are dog friendly though.

Friendly service, super pie and mash, open fire, dog friendly, great value. Just what you need after a wet day on a boat.

Proper individual pie - not a casserole with a pastry lid. Good value Jack Rabbit merlot wine. Old Peculiar and Black Sheep beer on draft in excellent condition. Friendly staff and good service. Check times because sometimes they finish serving food at 7pm.

Saw this place advertised from the nearby canal so gave it a try for a pint or three. It had no atmosphere, there were gaming machines and canned music - not ideal for a quiet drink. The real ale consisted of two national brewery beers...

A lovely pub situated in the village of Silsden. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the regulars are a real laugh. Pool and darts are a must. With various different event nights throughout the week such as karaoke, bingo and a pub quiz. Always welcoming

Called in after a walk along the Canal with the family and dogs. This is a welcoming pub, roaring coal fire, real ale, kids and dogs welcome, a great find.We had beef stew and dumplings and the chicken & cider pie, the kids shared a pizza. the food is excellent, home cooked specials like pubs used to make.Very clean with a beer garden.
