Bab Tooma Restaurant in Bradford

Possibly my menu choices more than the food, I ordered cabbage wrapped rice and mince - very vinegary and lamb kebobs- not a flavour of grill or lamb anywhere, Restaurant is very stylish, female servers are lovely and friendly and will happily get you a real menu rather than scanning a QR code. I’m yet to meet a person who prefers a QR code menu than a physical one. Host/greeter seemed to find it odd that a female would eat alone (honestly it’s preferable to hotel food!)

Brought my grandma for her 80th birthday, been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, really happy with the service, Shahida was really helpful recommending dishes on the menu, the portion sizes are big, we couldn,t eat all our main course because we were full from the starter! Happy to give us a box to take leftovers home though, highly recommend the Lamb chops and Sujuk starter, i gave it 4 stars because the soft drinks weren,t all that

We went there as a big group of 29 people and we absolutely loved it. We were served by Ebtissam, Mossab, Stalva and they were phenomenal. We were managed by Qusay if I have spelt it right. They did an amazing job looking after us. Strongly recommend visiting here.

My third visit, service is always brilliant. Kais and staff are always so professional and helpful. Desserts and food are worth the hour and a half drive

An amazing experience, definitely want to come back! The service was great, they accommodated us despite the fact that we didn't have a booking. Ibtissam was especially super helpful. Our food was delicious and also very generous, we even took some away with us. You have to try the Kunafa!!

Great quality Syrian food, plenty of seating. Loved everything but especially the mince stuffed aubergine 😍 We had some great service from Ibtisaam, extremely helpful 💕 Even the baklava was super fresh!

We went for a birthday lunch and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great too. We tried the Falafel, lamb mandi, and sharing platter which were all delicious. Ebthisaam, our server was absolutely lovely as well!

Had a lovely meal at Bab Tooma - the decor is gorgeous, very authentically Middle Eastern, the ambience is great and the food matches. We had great service from all the staff especially Kais. We’ll be back again!

Excellent customer service. The food was really well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We had the hummus and the feast platter and it went down a treat with us all including the children! Highly recommend!

Great place to eat with friends

I had a wonderful time with my lovely niece on the economic day of eid....we both left with our taste buds and tummies happy and sated. We only wish the toilets upstairs had been cleaner and serviced properly. Thabk you Bab Touma

What a bad experience yesterday, no good service the portion of food was very smal like kids servings, the rice was half cooked and prices were sky rocketed won't go back again 👎

We had a great friends gathering with top floor exclusively reserved for us. Ambience & food was just absolutely amazing. Staff were so courteous and attentive. We had great time. Applause for great service and smile especially to ebtissam, mossab, stalva. Will be back soon.

Loved the interior traditional decor. The grilled platter had good variety and was juicy and tasty. The lemon and mint drink and baklava also stood out. Really good service too. Enjoyed the platter options for starters and main.

All I'm going to say that it's nice and all that lentil soup is very tasty but when we asked for steak, we asked well done not medium rare.

This place is a true hidden gem in the town of Bradford. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The food is fresh, the decor and overall atmosphere is amazing, and a massive shout out to the outstanding staff that work here. They are truly attentive with an eye for detail. A special shout out to Jamshid whose knowledge of the menu helped us leave with our belly’s very full and happy. I will be returning! Thank you again team!

Came to eat for iftaar with a friend was quite excited and hungry too recommended to come at 7.15 which is the time we arrived got told by staff we will be seated upstairs as there is no space downstairs agreed to it our dates came 15min after we open our fast and got recommended food can take upto 45mins after order it came more then hour late lentis soup was provided which was very nice but have an extra hour added onto ur fast is taking the mick spoke to manager he offered free mint tea and kunafa which was nice we didn't end up having that due to the wait times after the hour wait the food I got the lamb chops were chewy asked for a steak knife and staff said they don't have any ate half my food which then did get taken of the bill overall not going back for iftaar again very disappointing had high hopes

The food was brilliant - the complementary lentil soup before our order being served was unreal! The decor made me feel like I walked right inside and Arabian fairytale! A joyful time was had by all.

Overall we enjoyed our meal. The staff were very friendly but seemed very busy and a bit overwhelmed. Mohamed was lovely. The food was nice. The Shish toak was nicely cooked. It was juicy and tender but could have had more of a chargrilled favour. The minced lamb was good but I’ve had better. The dessert was great but be prepared for the sugar rush.

Went to open our fast as we heard good things. Didnt book a table but was managed to be seated quickly but was very crowded. No one approached us with menus for atleast half an hour even after asking. Fast opened at 6:41 and we managed to order at 7:20. We were left hungry till then. No water or dates. Staff for all over the place. After fasting a whole day the least they could do was provide us with water. Once we ordered food came quickly and was really good. Service was a let down, need to be more managed and prepared during ramadan and consider that people are fasting, unfortunately wouldn’t visit again during ramadan.

They start you off with a bowl of soup which is tasty and the mains exceed expectations. Great decor and family friendly.

I visited there last night.This is a very good restaurant. food prices are reasonable for good food and the staff members provide very good services they are very helpful even in ramzan they do their best efforts to take care of customers and make our self comfortable .we had a very good experience here, we recommeded everyone to come here and try the food.

I recently visited Bab Toma and had a delightful experience. Shahida the server who attended to us, was exceptionally helpful and professional throughout our meal. Her truly service enhanced our dining experience. The food was delicious, the ambiance was inviting, and the overall service was top-notch. I highly recommend this place with a wonderful dining experience.

The food at this place is overpriced considering there are better options available on Leeds road. The staff seemed inattentive and despite waiting 25 minutes for our order to be taken, the waitress couldn’t care less to explain the confusing menu. We ordered the cold mezz selection which comes with three flat thin bread and when we asked for more bread they said you have to pay £3.50 so we chose not to go for it as homous already tasted like tesco’s homous! We also paid £6.50 for a tasteless Lime and mint drink. Nice decoration and atmosphere

Upon the recommendation of a family member, I visited Babtooma. Arriving at at our booking of 6:15 pm, we waited patiently for an hour for our food, considering it was during Ramadan.We sat upstairs. However, the absence of music or nasheeds dampened the atmosphere. Disappointingly, the food arrived slightly cold. Additionally, our waiter was overly pushy, constantly urging us to order more food and drinks, which was a new and uncomfortable experience. It left me wondering if such behavior was part of their training to boost sales. Furthermore, we noticed a sticker on the table offering a free teapot for reviews. When I inquired about it, the waiter informed us that we needed to order dessert to qualify, which felt misleading. Nevertheless the waitor said we would receive a free tea pot. They did give a few complimentary items for the wait time, which i appreciated. Overall the customer service was poor from the lady.

I was in the restaurant for iftar With my family to be honest was a delicious dinner but I was found a hair in the food I am not sure if it was from the bread or chicken anyway the thing made me hungry the staff doesn’t apologise they just take the hair and they said they fixed the problem How I don’t know 😅😅 I am really not happy and I feel Nausea maybe because I took the hair out of my mouth 😢

Absolutely amazing authentic Persian food. 10/10 grilled skewers, rice and fries. So much choice you have to go and experience it. Genuinely feels like you’re eating abroad in this fantastically decorated restaurant. Booking essential, gets very busy 6-8pm.

Fabulous food always of excellent quality. This is our favourite restaurant in Bradford. Prices are very fair too. We were served by Ibtissam and she is always courteous, helpful, efficient and welcoming. We always enjoy coming to this restaurant. Easy parking opposite the street to the entrance of the restaurant.

Came today for food with my wife. The spices and taste remind me of being back home. Real comfort hearty food. And we were looked after by ibtisam ( I think that’s how it’s spelled). She really went above and beyond making sure we were all happy and left with big smiles on our faces. Well done. Keep up the great food and even better service So considerate making sure we had water dates and soup to break our fasts.

The food was really nice and the staff were lovely, we got “the beast” and it includes alot of things, it’s for 4 people but it was enough for 6. They gave us free chips, soup and tea. The service was also great mohammed was seevhjg us and he was very juce and fuendly and the wait for the food wasnt too long at all

one of the best restaurants i have been to, my family agree with me too. amazing efforts made by members of staff who take pride in their jobs - you can tell that they actually care about what they do as they have immense care for the customers. delicious food and an amazing atmosphere. had some of the best birthdays here thank you to staff members like nadia’s friend and ‘jammy’ - nadia has trained them well but it is a shame that she has left, she was so lovely! thank you again for such a lovely birthday, can’t wait to come again!

A little disappointed , I always go to Bab touma in Leeds, but I was in Bradford and I thought this is just another branch, I think but I am not sure, this maybe a completely different bab touma, its called Bab touma grande and I believe its either Persianor Asian because the spices where just not Syrian /Lebanese at all.
