Absolutely loved our food and experience at Bab Tooma. Clear menu, food arrived promptly, and all the food was delicious. The grill meant we could try a little bit of everything. Our sever Shahida was also lovely and attentive. Will definitely be coming back again!

Babtooma Bradford is an amazing restaurant. We received complimentary lentil soups before our starters arrived. The starters and hot hot mains soon followed. The team at Babtooma are very friendly and welcoming. Adrian was a star and looked after us. We will definitely be coming back.

It’s a family favourite. Family orientated and beautiful Middle Eastern décor. Their lemon and mint mock tail is a family favourite!

A great find. Nice vegan choice and good size portions for the price - we shared the mezze dishes and a salad between two, sent it was way too much.

Shahida the waitress was very welcoming and greeted us with a smile. Nothing was too much when we asked questions. Helped us with food choice and all it was very tasty and we certainly enjoyed it. Will definitely go again!

Cosy, friendly atmosphere. Very attentive and friendly staff. We ordered a selection of foods. Starters , mains and desserts and everything ordered was delicious. The staff were on hand to give suggestions and recommendations about the dishes on the menu, The food was cooked perfectly and turnaround time was spot on. The kunafa dessert is a must try. Highly recommend

UPDATE: After seeing my review and hearing of my bad experience, the manager, Jam, rung me to find out what had happened. He was horrified and couldn’t apologise enough. He invited me and my family into the restaurant for a sit down meal on the house. Jam was so polite & kind and I now know that it was 1 individual that caused such a terrible experience and is not a reflection on Bab Tooma. Thank you Jam for being kind, caring and restoring my love of Bab Tooma. AVOID! we have been going to Bab Tooma for almost 15 years & it’s always been our favourite restaurant. Today is my husband’s birthday & after finding out they deliver to us on Uber eats we were looking forward to enjoying a bab Tooma in the comfort of our own home to celebrate his birthday. They had an offer on the deal for 1 so that it was buy one get one free. There was 4 of us so I called the restaurant who advised me to order 2 deals for 1 so that we would get 4 meals due to the buy one get one free offer. The order came and we only received 2 meals, not 4 as stated on the phone. I called the restaurant & the first man said I only ordered 1. I had proof on the receipt & on the uber eats app that I had ordered 2. I then asked to speak to the manager who admitted that they had made a mistake, apologised sarcastically & was really rude & said he was too busy to deal with me & that I should order a local takeaway elsewhere. I asked him what his name was and he said errrrmmmm Samuel. I clarified his name and asked are you the manager. He said no and then wished my husband a happy birthday and hung up on me. I will never order or visit bab Tooma ever again and I will tell everyone I know about our terrible experience. Here is the proof of my 2 x deal for one. Bab Tooma have ruined my husband’s birthday.

Very generous portions and tasty food. Only the mandi rice disappointed but only because last time this was deliciously soaked in meat juices. The aubergine lamb dish was lovely and the dips really good. Thank you to Shahida for her wonderful service.

Travelling into Bradford we came across this little treasure. Beautiful Middle Eastern vibe. We were seated straightaway, we did reserve. We were offered lentil soup which was ok. We ordered shawarma and the mousakka. Turkish coffee and kunafa. Very tasteful. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Perfect place for a quiet and relaxing meal. The interior and is very cosy, clean and welcoming. Staff are attentive, the food itself is 5 star especially when the chips are freshly fried. Grilled meats are tasty and succulent. The hummus is smooth and buttery. Lentil soup comes on the house before your meal and is lovely and warming. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. Have been twice now and would come back again.

On a recent trip from London, I had the pleasure of dining Babtooma and was utterly impressed by the experience. The atmosphere was inviting with a warm, cozy ambiance. Started off with a complementary lentil soup which was to die for and for the main course, I indulged in the slow-cooked lamb shank, which was tender. The meat fell off the bone effortlessly and was rich in flavour. Ebtissam was incredibly welcoming, offering recommendations and making sure I had everything I needed. Whether you're a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or looking to try something new, Babtooma is a must-visit.

Went here for a dinner for 2 around 9pm on a Monday. Not busy at all and only 2-3 other groups. We were served fairly quickly and the food was great. Would definitely recommend the shwarma platter, the cheesy shwarma was nice. The lamb chops were nice too. Would recommend the salad for starters. Unfortunately, would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the female waitress serving us. Really poor customer service. She was more distracted by everything around her and seemed to be so overworked even though she had 1-2 tables to serve. She actively avoided coming to our table even when called at times which was quite funny, it's definitely a first. The poor chaps behind the counter didn't seem too impressed with her antics either and agreed with us too. They were great and are the reason I'm giving it a 3. She kept us waiting around after too and the guys working behind the counter eventually decided to come and help us. It doesn't take much to get it right, the guy didn't even know english that well but still managed to do a better job.

Beautiful interior and the service was great. We started off with complimentary lentil soup which was warm and tasty. The food was delicious, the chicken was succulent and the rice had lots of flavour. I would recommend the chicken shish taouk and finish this off with a lovely hot cup of Arabic tea 👌🏽
