Unfortunately, no food isn't available. But there is always a fine selection of real ales available.

Cosy room with an open fire for the five of us. Friendly attentive staff. Good range of cask ales and beers plus all the other drinks you would expect. Generous portions of tasty and nicely presented food from a menu just extensive enough to satisfy most palates. This was our second visit to the Swan and I sincerely hope it won’t be the last. And of course, I would unhesitatingly highly recommend it!

My family often go for lunch and have never been disappointed. The pub is always really clean, the food is good - especially the onion rings

Festive afternoon tea is excellent. Mulled cranberry juice, mini yorkshire pudding with beef & delicious parsnip & pear soup. Very different flavours to the usual boring afternoon teas & it was packed on a Friday.

Lovely place for food , mid week special. Been a few times and the staff are always excellent who ever you see . Give them a raise ! Xx

We booked for lunch enroute to Bolton Abbey and were very pleased we did. Very warm welcome from the Manager, excellent fish and chips (with the option of a small portion which is good for lunch). My husband also enjoyed the homemade treacle sponge with “proper” custard. Highly recommended and would certainly return if back in the area.

It's closed for refurbishment under new-ownership, until New Year 2025.
