The best restaurants in Kingstone Barnsley Yorkshire and The Humber

My friend and I had been bought afternoon tea at Georgies yard. It was a wonderful afternoon and would highly recommend. All food freshly baked or locally sourced, so supporting other local businesses. Everything delicious and constant supply of fresh hot tea kept coming. Hosts ensuring the whole time everything was to our liking.

Cracking Breakfast as usual, lovely staff, if you’re in Barnsley treat yourself it’s smashing 👌👌👌👌👌👌 Plenty of choice from full breakfasts or sandwiches etc

Had this stitch cake made for my daughters 18th birthday, and wow amazing the size of the cake also tastes amazing and great for the price, I would absolutely recommend anyone to trust your special days cake in the hands of this amazing company, the lovely man who made this beautiful cake was genuinely passionate about the work he does putting so much effort into every detail :)

Nice light breakfast and a decent cuppa

Delicious food, fast and friendly service for a family birthday celebration. Just wish we were local so we could return again soon.

Best Italian food I have had, the Puccini pancake was superb and the tomato garlic bread was spot on, we are visiting for a night and am very pleased we chose here to eat! I would recommend the tiramisu. Had two under two with us as well 😀

3 for now as I have a question ... your.meu says yousell saveloy? I'm a southerner and 1 thing I have missed from a chippy is buying a couple.of saveloy so if you do actually sell them, them we will be.there tomorrow!!

Got chips and curry sauce tonight off a tall lad that served me. Hardly any chips and a small scoop of curry sauce. Disappointed

My second trip here and I absolutely love everything about the place. The decor, the food, the owner. The first visit was for a Christmas wreath making lesson which was great fun. The second visit was for a friend's birthday and we were both incredibly impressed with the food and service. A little gem in Barnsley 🩷🩷🩷. Thank you.

Positives- The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and helpful, mobile signal was good so didn't need to use the WiFi Negatives - On 2 separate nights, the room above me were moving about, and it was very noisy, sounded like they had diving boots on. On the Saturday night was the worst. I had a very poor sleep. I dozed off about 22:00, was woken by them at 23:10, then again at 01:30, then 02:30 then at 04:00ish there was a couple arguing and shouting a couple of rooms down from me. The bedroom itself, the lamp on the desk didn't work, the switch to turn it on had been pushed all the way in or was damaged, and I was doing laptop work in my room. The picture on the wall has had a fist or something put through it.
