Cracking boozer,great ale,and super staff,a great place for a pint or two.

Best pub I've been in for ages.really friendly staff.Top quality beer.nice beer garden.good prices. I haven't tried the food yet but I bet it's good.

Proper local I visited on my first trip to Barnsley. Decent ale and the people behind the bar had a good sense of humour!

Great little pub clean N tidy super selection of beers and lagers

The real ale I chose on my Easter Monday visit was in perfect condition! It was busy, but not uncomfortable in the bar area. We'll supported by locals, who were of a wide range of ages, all enjoying themselves. A nice visit! Cheers 🍻

Snashung little pub. The first time we've visited, we were welcomed from the moment we walked in.

I was brought here by a local Barnsley friend and thrown a surprise party with a bunch of locals. A memorable night in where the staff made it a warmer occasion as i was leaving town. I loved the name and colours as i was a St George Dragons NRL fan the red and whites lol. Great place great memories and worth the visit!

Came here in recommendation of the staff of Heaaven and Ale and not disappointed. Proper public house serving four real ales. On a busy road which detracts from the side beer garden. Comfortable interior including a small lounge up a few stairs that feels like home! Madge tokd me to try the Nailmakers Cardinal Sin, a very hoppy brew.

Nice friendly local, prices on par with the area, always clean, management and staff always polite and friendly 😉

Great decor good beers good quality bar staff excellent good fun. All clean worthy of a visit. Diane was on behind the bar very nice lady great to get on with a great laugh.

Travelled from Rotherham to try different real ales. Found this place had 4 ales all reasonably priced and well looked after. Went back 3 weeks later to find 4 different ales again spot on.Friendly staff and well kept pub would definitely recommend a visit or 2.

Okay , put back to being a pub, no juke box or dartboard and the beer is a bit pricey, if you enjoy real ales this is the pub for you

With 4 handpumps sporting a Chantry, Ossett, Stancill & a Tiger Tops. Not bad at all.

Good place to enjoy some drinks and have a good time. Not far from there is the shop and it's working till 23:00. Not sure about Saturday and Sunday but one of the best things that near that shop is cash machine and lot of place for parking your car. Enjoy...

Great little pub with fantastic staff. All social distancing rules apply but doesn't prevent from a great night. Love this pub.

Lovely clean pub, fantastic decor . Large selection of gin and craft ales to please all. Good beer garden too. Also have some amazing snacks! I love cockles and Yorkshire crisps. Definitely worth a visit. Plenty of sanitiser too!

Very friendly Place, with a good selection of real ales. They also stock morretti lager. Big plus, the young chap behind the bar Is fun and will always bring a smile to your face, even on your face even on your worst of days.!!
