The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

Great food and good location. Service it spot on and fast. Food is quite authentic compared to what I experienced in Vietnam but it is toned down significantly regarding spiciness (ask them to bring on the heat to make it real). It is more “sit down” food so don’t expect a takeaway meal. I have been there 5 times and so far not been disappointed.

Fantastic Chippy better than you get at the coast. Large Haddock. Chip. Peas. chip shop curry sauce, scraps, Tartare sauce salt vinegar. Stuffed 5 star

Enjoyed a fantastic solo meal this evening. Having eaten here before I knew that the quality was high and tonight proved me right. I had a starter, main, side dish and a naan bread. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the servers were exceptional. Highly recommended

They said they are busy and they don't have time to serve us. Really rude and unprofessional.

Nice little , friendly place. Staff attentive. Food was good value and extremely tasty. We had an excellent evening for the money. We will be back.

Absolutely lovely pub, we stayed for dinner and I’m glad we did it was delicious, also had the home made sticky toffee pudding which is a must it was amazing. And thanks to the Lady who served us she was really friendly and polite. We will be back.

I had high expectations for Vepura, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. lacked flavor, while the biryani was tasted like it pulav. The service was ok, and the staff seemed friendly. Given the high prices, I expected much better quality. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they improve their food. It doesn't even taste like south indian food. I tried every dishes. I'm too disappointed. Even today I ordered chilli chicken, it's my first time I ordered chilli chicken..it doesn't even good. I'm sorry for this comment. Hope you will change your recipes.

Amazing food and very good service

Very very tasty food and lovely staff. Nice to see it busy on a Saturday night.

Was looking forward to my fish n chips from Barlby. Found it closed when I visited even though their website said it would be open. Got home n phoned them, Eagle Fisheries at Castleford answered, was told they had closed down Barlby at the end of September 😮 When I said the website hadn't been updated I was told it wasn't their problem, they only worked for Eaglescliffe.

Después de mi decepción con un café en Bridlington South Beach decidí probar este en North Beach y fue excepcional. Tenía la oferta de café y rollo que era de £ 6 (£ 5 si tienes té). La salchicha en el rollo era increíble. Salchichas carniceras cocinadas a la perfección. El pan también estaba bueno, no agobiaba la carne y estaba ligeramente tostado. Hay espacio adentro a la derecha para los perros, pero me senté afuera. Volveré, mucho.

Nice micro pub I just pop in now and again great range of ales the staff are great met both landlords you wouldn't know they were the landlords they let the staff get on with it well worth a visit.
