We visited over Easter and loved all the little chocolate eggs hidden around the cafe - kept the kids entertained whilst they waited for their food! Lovely cafe with a great menu. We ordered a range of different food but loved the halloumi burger and cheeseburger especially. It’s great that dogs are allowed in this cafe but as we don’t own a dog, even better that there are two areas - one for dogs and one where dogs aren’t allowed. Service was quick and with a smile, reasonably priced too for restaurant quality food. The only improvement needed is the toilet area - could do with a update!

Called in here for coffees on a very busy a Saturday morning. Got the last table. Although they were rushed off there feet the lady apologised to us about the wait. We weren’t in a hurry so no problem but it’s nice to be acknowledged. When it came coffee was good. The food coming out looked delicious so we will eat there on our next visit. A couple of nice touches were the child facilities in the toilets. Firstly they provided baby wipes etc also a potty and one of the child seats that fit on the toilet. Great idea for parents. Secondly it was Easter weekend and there was a note saying the Easter bunny had visited and to look for the hidden eggs. We saw a couple of children had found some. I thought this was another nice touch. Well done Beach hut. To summarise great little find,helpful efficient staff,good coffee and facilities. will definitely be back. 10/10

Absolutely love this place. Right on the front. Friendly, happy staff, polite and helpful. Had a few full English breakfasts here all were cooked how you like so home from home. Even tried the eggs Benedict 🤤 So glad I did I loved it, the ham was quality, the eggs were perfect.

This was our second visit to this lovely little cafe. We first discovered it on New Year’s Day when we were surprised it was open and delighted they had a dog friendly area. Nice breakfast menu, good coffee. We’ll make this our breakfast stop whenever we are local in our camper van!

If you want a quality cheese and ham sandwich then please don’t eat anywhere else!! Food quality is fabulous. We will be back. Have a great year.

Beautiful walk on the beach, followed by the most fantastic breakfast. Staff so friendly and dogs so welcome! Food was delicious, we were lucky to get a table and breakfast did not disappoint. We shall return .... thank you!

Just excellent. Everything was bang on. Great decor and a clean environment. Great also, as we could bring our dog in. Food was really good value and very tasty. This is how all seaside cafes should be. Can't praise the staff enough as they put up with my daft questions as well

Great little cafe. Friendly young staff, comfortable dog friendly area and lovely food. The prawn baked potato with its homemade coleslaw (makes such a difference when they make their own) was a real hit. Coffee is pretty good, but they need to work on their crème, as the Americano was rather watery and thin. Fab location and surprised it’s not busier than it was.

First time visiting the beach hut and not sure I’ll visit again, while the food was well cooked, the prices were extortionate for the portions you were given. Also if you expect to have a peaceful meal then forget it, if people bring children in who misbehave and cause noise disruption, staff will say nothing to the parents! When I went someone had two toddlers screaming and banging on the walls for their entire visit and everyone was looking in their direction obviously annoyed. Customers are entitled to a quiet meal without that kind of disruption.

Called in for sandwiches. Very quick service, lovely pot of tea (I got 3 cups out of it) sandwiches came served with crisps and home made coleslaw. Staff very friendly

We came for breakfast and it was 10/10. I had the assume breakfast and my partner had the beach hut breakfast and both up to scratch. It is also very good for the money we paid!!

We had breakfast and lunch here today and we can't praise it highly enough. Everything we had was of the highest quality and very reasonable in price. The surroundings are delightful and the staff are extremely welcoming. The menu is exactly what we wanted for a seaside cafe just across the road from the beach. I'm sure that we'll come here every time we visit Bridlington. I really don't understand the recent negative reviews: it's just wonderful.

I went into the Beach Hut cafe in North Bay Bridlington for lunch and ordered a ham and mustard sandwich costing £7, I have attached a picture of what I received. 2 small thin slices of bread cut into 4 , a small amount of ham and mustard accompanied by a small portion of coleslaw and approx 6 crisps. Absolutely disgraceful I feel like I have been robbed, I certainly will not be going back and I suggest you all give it a wide berth.

After being recommended to this cafe we arrived yesterday at 1.15pm for lunch. We walked in and were told it was closing. This was a Friday and Bridlington was busy. Very disappointed and we found somewhere else nearby. I had checked the website and The Hut should have been open until 3pm.

Called here for breakfast on Bank Holiday Monday after researching and finding The Beach Hut on Facebook. We were there at around 10.20am and it was already busy, which is always a good sign :-) Ordered off the specials and main menu, the only shame was it was quite a wait for our food to arrive, my coffee was long gone by then! But again, a good sign that food is fresh and cooked to order, and it was beautiful! Would recommend and visit again.

Found The Beach Hut when I did some research on cafes on the beach front in Bridlington. Me and my daughter and my lil grandson had lunch here to begin our seaside day trip. It’s a really nice place, the food we had was nice. Friendly staff and quick service. Will be back again in the future. Thank you 😊

Just opposite beach at quieter end of Bridlington this unassuming cafe is an unexpected find. Ordered two black coffees and Aussie Breakfasts and was immediately transported back to Margaret River in Western Australia. The food is absolutely Top Notch! It was SO good that I didn’t even take a photo.

We last went to the Beach Hut last summer and, at the start of the 2023 season, I'm delighted to say it seems as good as ever, with beautifully prepared simple, tasty food, - veggie breakfast for me, tuna mayo cheese melt for my partner - great coffee, quick friendly service and excellent value. What more could you ask before (or after) a stroll up the promenade or towards Sewerby in the Easter holiday sunlight. Perfect day, perfect cafe.

Breakfast was very nice. However we were given teaspoons that were dirty, when we asked for them to be replaced the waitress commented that they were busy at the weekend. It was Wednesday, she sorted through the spoons but had difficulty finding two clean ones.Also the Toilet cubicle door is warped as is the toilet door, neither could be secured. Surely at the very start of the season jobs like this could have been attended to..

Our favourite fish and chip takeaway was closed so we ate here having seen that it is dog friendly. I have to agree with some of the comments that some dog owners allow their dogs to behave badly and yap loudly. My dog sits quietly under the table which is as it should be. On to the food which was fine, we had a breakfast and a quiche meal both of which were tasty, generous portions. The reason for only 3 stars is that the toilets can only be described as grubby. The inner door in the lady's was actually marked, sticky and the whole area was unpleasant. It doesn't take long to clean an area as small as that and it needs a good deep clean.

Food and staff ok but the continual din of the dogs having a barking contest with each other and seeing other customers let their dogs sit on the settee by the window is offputting. It's a shame as otherwise this seems a decent place.

Visited the Beach Hut for breakfast and the food and service was fantastic. It is a friendly social place with amazing views of Bridlington Beach North side. We got there on Sunday morning at opening and it was quickly full.

Highly recommend the Aussie breakfast: two pieces of sourdough toast topped with avocados, two poached eggs and chilli oil. A hearty breakfast, kidding myself it’s healthy, too ;) The pancakes, bacon and maple syrup were delicious, also. So much so, we returned a second time...

Good option for tea and cake. Popped in on a blustery day for a hot drink and was pleasantly surprised by the range of cakes (the lemon cheesecake & caramel shortbread were delicious), tea and friendly service. Will return to try the food.

Stumbled across this place yesterday looking for something to eat. The burgers were amazing. We added the chilli cheese and that was delicious! Staff were all very nice and attentive. And the food was quick to come out. :)

Due to the Covid restrictions, we were unable to buy a hot snack on the north beach at the beach cafe for lunch. So, walked to The Beach Hut. Purchased a bacon roll & and sausages in a roll. They were of good quality, wrapped in foil so we good take them back to the beach, and were still hot. Staff helpful & friendly.

Visited The Beach Hut on 11/8/20 for the first time for breakfast & couldn’t say a bad word about the cafe.Lovely service, friendly staff & beautiful food.Well priced, generous portions & locally produced food.Group of 4 adults & 2 teenagers & we all really enjoyed our breakfasts.Would recommend & will 100% return next time we’re in the area. Conveniently located near the disabled parking bays at Bridlington Beach, and near the Crazy Golf attractions. Best social-distancing seating I've seen anywhere, which made me feel safe to take my 93 year old mother in law out, post lockdown. Ramp at entrance for alternative access to steps. Seafront view - if you manage to get seated at a window. Prices reasonable, meal portions adequate, and quality good. No complaints. Service exceptional. Been here for the first time, then two weeks, back to back, because of the exceptional service, and customer attention. Clean toilets, protected by key at cashiers service. Wifi available with password. Nice decor and clean airy vibe. Would suggest checking opening hours, and getting there early as can be quite busy. Would definitely recommend.

Came here (2 plus a sleeping infant) on a hot afternoon. Was great to find a spot with heaps of room, not feeling like you are packed on top of each other. Service very good and guidelines with C19 were very clear and easy to follow. We both chose from the sandwiches, lunch time menu looked a bit heavy for a hot day. Food was quite nice but maybe could have been presented a little better. Would definitely visit again though for the setting and set out.

Visited this place using the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and was so impressed I went again paying full price, and will definitely be a regular when I visit north Brid.The cafe itself was clean and the staff friendly. The menu is small, but what they do serve is delicious. I had the burger which was homemade. It was served with fries, coleslaw and side salad. At under £7 full price, it was a bargain. It was all very well cooked and tasted delicious. My son had similar but went with the hot dog plus extras which was £4.50. Great value.A couple of days later I had eggs benedict. This was very nice but I would have preferred bacon rather than ham. The ham was excellent quality though so that is just personal preference. The flat white coffee which I got on both occasions is the best coffee I have ever had!A couple of things I didn't feel were right in these times of Covid are:-1. Having a key for the bathroom. I don't think it is right touching something that lots of others have been touching. I'm sure it wouldn't be a recommended course of action during these times.2. Newspapers to read. Think this isn't allowed at the moment for obvious reasons.3. Tables in the middle area on the left had people sitting close to tables on the other side of the low partition. Clear plastic should be put up to completely separate those tables, I feel.All in all. Impressed with the cafe, the food and the staff, just felt a little insecure on the issues I have raised.

Five (+ a dog) visited and we all had the beach brekkie. We didn't wait long and the food was top quality, at a very reasonable price too.The staff were courteous and helpful, the procedures in place for COVID-19 were as good as anywhere we've been (best in my opinion).Definitely recommend

The beach hut is excellently clean. Fresh food coffee always fresh. Plenty of choice very dog friendly, my little dog loves his free choice of dog biscuits Coffee and cakes really good. Meals excellent and never skimpy. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We visited during lockdown restrictions and we're very impressed with how the cafe had dealt with the new operating rules. The staff were very nice and friendly and the takeout food brilliant. I had the "Aussie" and my husband a bacon buttie. Both were so tasty and the takeout box meant the food was still presented nicely. Our dog loved her treat too! Highly recommended.

Stopped here for lunch on day while in Bridlington. Early season so were only open from 10am till 2pm. Nice open plan layout with plenty of space. Menu was short basically breakfast dishes, sandwiches, jackets, burgers. We had the home made burger with cheese and bacon with sides of chips and salad. Quality and taste great, service very good and quick. Will definitely be returning when we can.

Visited this lovely cafe on North beach, Bridlington on a sunny March day.The surroundings are great and the staff attentive and friendly. We had breakfast sandwiches which were delicious with great coffee and tea. There is a slight wait for the food but it was expected as the cafe was busy and obviously very popular.Certainly worth a visit.

Absolutely cannot big this place up enough! The food is fantastic - beautifully cooked and presented, with an imaginitive but unpretentious menu to cater for simple or more sophisticated tastes. The cakes are sublime - all baked on the premises by the owner or his co-chef, plus, they don't cost the earth either - none of the food does.A lot of care and attention obviously goes into sourcing good quality ingredients and cooking them well, no matter how simple the dish.The coffee is locally sourced as well and there's a great choice of coffee styles, plus fruit teas, hot chocolate, milkshakes and chilled drinks - the only thing missing is some Fentiman's old-skool drinks which I think would more in keeping with the quality atmosphere of this cafe than the Coca-Cola fridge in the corner! Still, you've got to keep the proles happy haven't you!Check out the Scrambled Egg with Chorizo on toast (three choices of bread) or the Ham (freshly cooked - not plastic), Egg and Chips or the All Day Brunch/Breakfast - I could go on all day! I've probably tried just about everything and found nothing lacking - it's all been good.They tell you if you're going to have a long wait (usually in the height of summer) and it isn't usually as long as predicted and there are games to play and jigsaws to do whilst you wait or just look out of the window at the sea or the lemmings going by!And... don't worry about sitting in a pile of other people's debris - the waitresses will be there right away with their cleaning sprays and cloths to whisk away the evidence and sanitise your table, even in the busiest of times.Can't think of anything bad to say about this place except that I wish it was open for more hours in winter!

On a cold, wet and windy day in Bridlington, this place is great to keep warm, dry and well fed. We stopped for lunch and it was very quiet. They have a good selection of teas to choose from, with green tea being one. The portions are plentiful and taste good, along with reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I believe these do the best egg Benedict in Bridlington. I never fail to enjoy my breakfast here and the service is always good. This time we sat outside in the sunshine and watched the world go by as we ate and a perfect sea view while drinking our drinks.The latte is always piping hot, just as I like ti and the service, as always, if friendly and efficient.Well worth a visit

Had lunch here this week. In this day of people preferring to look at their phones rather than speak to one another, it was a welcome change to find friendly and attentive staff.

We had the full English breakfast at the Beach Hut whilst staying in Sewerby recently. We were hugely impressed at the quality of the food for a very reasonable £5.95 each. Equally the staff were also very friendly. Highly recommended!

Upon arrival it was evident that the place was well presented, it was nice & clean with a pleasant atmosphere. We found a table & ordered our food at the counter; the girl who served me informed me that there would be a 45 minute wait for food as there had been an influx of orders, we weren’t in a rush so went with it.

I complained about a sandwhich- the lack of content and the salad, which was old and brown. The chef came out and was extremely rude, aggressive ad intimidating! I wont be visiting there again!

The Beach Hut is always a must on our annual trip to Bridlington. This is the first time we have had something more substantial and happily we were early enough for the breakfast menu. Surprisingly the prices compare well with less trendy cafes away from the seafront and the ingredients are noticeably good quality. You could tell from the colour and flavour of the egg yolks that they were decent free range eggs, and my wife was immediately impressed with the Linda McCartney sausages in the vegetarian breakfast. Of course Charlie the dog was more than impressed by the free biscuits in a jar on the counter. Excellent location with tasty good quality food.

A fresh and spacious cafe with a view over the bay. The food is freshly made with a choice of sandwiches, toasties, baked potatoes, omelettes and healthy breakfasts. A walk over the road to the beach and ample parking (£4.50 for 3 hrs).

Change of scenery for Breakfast today, been before but this time the kids were over for Father’s Day and we needed a good breakfast spot and I’m glad we picked the Beach hut, Good clean cafe with happy friendly staff, best bit a very good breakfast , sat looking out to sea with my family Happy Days .

We felt as though we were eating abroad when we breakfasted on the Sunday morning of our weekend away. With the beautiful views of the sea and a delicious, adventurous menu, this café was a real hit with us.

The Beach Hut is dog friendly, clean, has good food and the staff are friendly. You can't ask for anything more. We live locally and go here, maybe, 3 times a week.

We came here for breakfast and the food was lovely. Although all 3 of us agreed that the breakfast was quite small as whenever we've eaten out for breakfast we've received more of each item, whereas we only received 1 of everything here. My local cafe does a full breakfast with at least 2 of everything and more items for £5, and from what I can remember it was more expensive than that here. There was no fried bread, black pudding, tomatoes, what you'd usually get on a full English.
