The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

Visited today for Sunday lunch just thought we would try it we weren't dissapointed.Food was lovely and the service the only down side was when we got our drinks mine had lipstick on the rim and my wife's had to and it wasn't my colour 😀 otherwise it was a nice Experience.thankyou.

We love the pies from Get Baked, chocolate cake is amazing too but I’m not the biggest chocolate cake fan. Spenny but if you think about a dessert of that size from an eat in spot it’s around the same price but usually not as fresh. I’d say you can get 4 servings out of the chocolate cake too which is worth the cost at the luxuriousness of the ganache given the cacao prices. I wondered if the pie crust uses butter? We get the banoffee pie! Sad they stopped the Cereal Killa as that was my favourite. I also enjoy their coffee, its speciality coffee so you taste the difference compared to a chain like Costa and Starbucks.

Came in for breakfast very busy wee place friendly staff Amazing food Highly recommend the poached eggs on sourdough with a hint of chilli Just nice and relaxing atmosphere Would definitely eat breakfast here again

Advertised as keeping faithful to what made The Tiger so popular when it reopened, same chef etc, but sadly it was more like the new owners previous Goldsborough pub but in a new location. OK, but just not as good. Steak and Ale Pie especially was disappointing as were the accompanying vegetables. A few chips in a little metal basket is never what you want to see!

Great family run restaurant, with an extensive menu and good set price menu too. The dogs were made welcome and the food was wonderful. Staff very helpful and friendly

Food was really good, however some customer service training definitely needed for the female waiting staff. Wednesday night, we hadn't booked, but thought we'd give it a go. We walked in, the female staff member was behind the bar, she didn't look up and said "Name" we said we hadn't booked, she picked up two menus and said "Here" indicating to a table. The person I was with asked if we could sit in the neighbouring 2 seat table, the waitress said "I will need the go upstairs and get ice first".... The waiter that took our order was polite and friendly, and as we order we asked for some water. The waitress then brought one glass of water..... The food in the other hand was delicious. I'm not sure we would go back. We'd probably try some other places first before we did. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for a business meeting, but if you don't mind abrupt service, the food was really good.

Two evening meals over two night and they were excellent. The staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic. Thoroughly recommend this pub.

Super friendly pub with fantastic beers and good grub. We had steak pudding and lasagne and both meals were really nice. The Chinook blonde ale and guinness were both very well kept - would have loved to have stayed longer. We dropped in when visiting the area and had a lovely time. The staff were really nice and helpful and the whole place had a lovely relaxing feel to it. It looks like a good place to centre a walk on as well - we'll definitely be back.

Italian - Mexican mix. Lovely food - quick service and good value.

El gerente nos recibió con una sonrisa amable y cálida y nos mostró a nuestra mesa pedimos nuestra comida que está muy bien de precio la comida llegó rápidamente fue una de las mejores comidas italianas que he tenido añadido con el vino a muy buen precio hizo que toda la comida y la experiencia del restaurante simplemente increíble, recomendaría Leoz es cualquiera, volveremos

If excellence is the simple things done superbly well, then Hoxton North is the best example I know. The eggs ( anyway) are as good as I’ve eaten anywhere, great coffee, friendly laid back vibe, it’s not just the best in Harrogate, I’d wager it would be in the top 20 uk wide, and I’ve been cafe hopping all over this country for 40 years. Go!

What can I say about Julio's that hasn't been said so many times before? This restaurant is just outstanding in every aspect. I initially enquired about a family meal to celebrate my Nans 90th birthday and the communication was quick and easy. The table was booked and I asked if we could bring a cake to be brought out at the end of the meal after deserts, and some balloons. This was no problem at all. When we arrived, it was great to see Julio himself who instantly remembered us from previous visits and welcomed us all. You know you're in for a good visit when Julio is hosting and the kind of hospitality he provides, you just don't get in other restaurants. We were all seated and orders taken, promptly followed by their complimentary bread which is all homemade and delicious. The waitress was very kind and courteous and asked about allergies and introllerences which non of us had. There was not a long wait for any of the courses and every single meal was delicious and well presented. The portions are generous, and everything is made fresh to order. Nothing was too much trouble even when making little adjustments to the dishes and every plate was empty - well as empty as it could be with the portions here as if you have dined here, you'll know they dont skimp on any ingredients! Even the prawn cocktails where establishments cut back on expensive produce like this, had sooo many prawns on. Once the deserts had been finished, Julio brought out the birthday cake we provided and he started off everyone singing happy birthday. A nice surprise for my nan who wasn't expecting this. The restaurant was filling up during the time we was there so booking is highly advisable. They also have two other restaurants ( Bellinis in brighouse which i have visted before and can recommend, and Saltaire which i havnt had the chance to get to yet!) Everything about the day was perfect from start to finish and the consistency in service food and ambiance is unmatched. There's a reason we have been visiting Julios for 20 years and we will be visiting for 20 more. Support this local restaurant, you will never be disappointed. Thank you to Julio and his team for making my nans 90th, one to remember.

Absolutamente maravillosa noche. Comida perfecta, servicio excelente. La primera vez y ciertamente no será la última. Me encantó cada minuto.

Went with family and they are great with kids, the food is awesome, huge portions of really tasty food. Yoghurt and tomato salad with all starters, the hummus is delicious with the bread. The Shared grill is worth every penny. all sis of us had the most wonderful food. Deserts are huge too. Thanks to all the team that made our day so good.

I’ve been a “regular” for almost 2 years now! Came in the first time by accident and absolutely fell in love with the food, the environment and how friendly the staff is! I’ve not tried anything on the menu that was not just amazing! And believe me I’ve gone through the menu! Works well for date nights, group dinners or as we normally do, family night out, great for kids and adults! Could not recommend more!
