Fabulous food and wonderful service every time we eat at San Angelo. We held a very special birthday do for 12 this week. The attention to detail was great and nothing was too much trouble.

Out for valentines, food was excellent really nice and very tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We went for my birthday and had a great evening. We shared calamari and Mozzarella in Carrozza, and I followed up with Pollo San Angelo, while my wife had Linguine Carbonara. All of it was excellent. My children both had the calzone, and the portion sizes were such that I wasn't able to finish my daughter's! We'll definitely be back again, hopefully before too very long.

Great local Italian, lots of genuine simple dishes on the menu. Good service and a fun evening was had.

Food was average and service was terrible. Other tables were getting much better service. It felt like they weren’t bothered about serving us and prioritised larger bookings.

This a popular and busy restaurant. Although not in an optimum location (albeit easy for vehicular access and parking) it was clearly well-supported and well-loved by the presumably local clientele. We had travelled some distance to join a family celebration so were first-timers here. We were impressed with everything really; the menu was extensive and varied, the service was great and the food well-presented, tasty and fairly priced. We were perhaps a little rushed - with our early booking meaning we were given a time to vacate which didn’t feel generous. However, I guess this was indicative of their popularity and success. It is good to see family owned and operated businesses doing well. We hope to get an opportunity to re-visit.

We visited this restaurant whilst on a short holiday in Baildon & we were chuffed to find it had a car park right opposite it, as we had been driving round to find somewhere to eat but the spaces outside the places were all full. Very friendly staff who made us laugh and the food was fabulous Generous portions Thank you for a nic evening

Managed to get a table for 4 on Saturday. What a lovely place, nice atmosphere, lovely, friendly staff. We didn’t feel at all rushed (unlike the Italian at Greengates 👎). We shared the garlic bread starter between us. Mains - chicken dishes for 3 of our group and salmon in creamy, prawn sauce - gorgeous. All the food was tasty and hot, served with plenty of vegetables/potatoes. Desserts, we had tiramisu, ice cream and cheese cake. We will be back again as we had a lovely meal, very reasonably priced with lovely staff and a great atmosphere!!

We really enjoyed our meal here. The service was fast and efficient and all the staff were warm and friendly. I would like to have the option to order different side dishes. The main course came with new potatoes, carrots and green beans. I couldn't see the option to order something like sautéed potatoes or jacket potatoes. Lovely place and we will be going again.

Pizza San Angelo is the best pizza. Ever!

I was really excited to go to this Italian and was really let down. An older female member of staff with blonde hair was grumpy on arrival. Then it got even worse when I moved my chair to face my partner, as the same member of staff told me to sit back where it was originally placed as they had a larger party arriving and there wasn't room. There clearly was room as another member of staff kindly helped us move the table after she saw what was happening. The older woman was then shaking her head at us. When challenged by my partner if there was an issue, she said no very moodily. The other party arrived and one of them clearly had Covid (not that this was the restaurants fault) We went there ready to splash out on a lovely Italian romantic meal, but instead we had a main and left as soon as possible as we felt very unwelcomed. We will never be going back again!!

Surprised I haven't reviewed this before. Been here a number of times over the years and been fantastic every time. Menu has a wide array of choices, including a good specials board with plenty to choose from. Pizza's amazing Steaks, probably some of the best I've had, especially with some of their sauces that you don't get in other places, e.g. diavolo. Had other stuff such as seafood, stroganoff, ribs, and much more, enjoyed absolutely all of it. Price is reasonable for all items on the menu, but expect to pay a little more of course for your steaks - not a criticism, it's well priced for what it is, just an observstion. If I had a criticism, it would be that the seasonal veg that comes with some meals can be a little overdone. Would highly recommend 👌

I've recently moved to Baildon & this was my first visit. I cannot praise San Angelo enough. The service was excellent, the menu varied & the ambience lovely. Oh, & very good value too! This is somewhere my partner & I will be visiting in the future & on a regular basis too!

We have been going for years, over 10 years at both premises and have come to know Angelo, his family and Umberto well. They cater for our dietary needs wonderfully and we are always so happy with everything we have, in all the time of eating, spanning thousands of dishes. We have had one issue with a dish, we didn't complain, they noted it wasn't eaten as much... They noticed, asked, went away, and brought back a freshly cooked portion. Took it off the bill as well! That was in 2009. No problem since. Go, enjoy, it's fantastic food, great service, lovely surroundings and they're brilliant with allergies too.

I can't believe I've been living in Shipley for 9 years and not tried San Angelos before. The food is excellent and the service warm and welcoming. If you like Italian food, give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

I have been going here since it was just called Angelo's and was in Bradford town centre. There food has always been fantastic. On my last visit there was a party of 18 of us and everyone of my family and friends agreed how great it was and that they were looking forward to their next visit. Really enjoyed a relaxed evening meal for 12. It was the day of my Mum's funeral & a great way to end on a more positive vibe in a nice atmosphere that evening before going our separate ways. San Angelo has become one of my favourite places to eat out for a treat. Always excellent food. Not just pasta smothered in tomato or bechamel sauce but tasty and perfectly made pasta with delicate fillings. Good wine and friendly staff, with smart but relaxing surroundings.
