Just couldn't resist the ever delicious Gamberini and Pistachio Linguini. Everyone I recommend it to also lives it. This is a lovely place. Very friendly, in a nice setting. Love it.

If you want glitz and glamour give this place a miss ! But if you want excellent traditional Italian food with good wine and genuine friendly efficient staff you cannot beat the vine !

We didn’t actually eat here. My review is based on the incredibly poor experience we had when attempting to dine here. To be fair, it was a Saturday night, and we hadn’t booked, so I understand that you may not have had any tables for walk ins, but, there’s a way to treat people that’s professional and hospitable (you are in the hospitality business), and you did not do that with us. In fact you laughed At us when we said we had no reservation, 2 of you did that. And laughed more as we walked away. Incredibly rude and I will never come back and will never recommend you to any of my friends or visitors. We went to Piccolinos instead, who were just as busy but dealt with us in a kind, professional manner.

Lovely restaurant. The food is good quality with plenty of variety of dishes of an Italien style. I have eaten there with my family and friends for several years and always feel welcome. The food is cooked in sight of the diners too which adds to the inclusive atmosphere.

Hidden above another shop but right off the carpark. Italian style menu including a good selection of seafood options. Afraid we were hungry on arrival so forgot to take the photos before tucking in, may have spoilt some of the chefs presentation but you can see what wad inside now 😅

4 of us had the 2 course lunch today. We all had something different. Every meal was fantastic and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Very good indeed. A word of warning, when parking in the square, beware of the 'lone wolf' parking warden that will pounce upon any car after 18:00hrs without a displayed £1 ticket (we saw it happen to one poor unsuspecting individual).

Simply the best Italian food we have eaten outside of Tarano Italy. We had 3 course meal this evening for 4 adults. All the food was freshly prepared in the kitchen adjacent to the restaurant and tasted amazing, the service was attentive and excellent. Now we have been once we will return, for the excellent food and a truly Italian experience. Thank you so much ☺️

In Ilkley for the weekend and so glad we’ve found this amazing restaurant. We live an hour away and would gladly travel to eat here . Amazing food and fabulous staff. I never eat three courses at a restaurant but couldn’t resist as the food was so tasty.

What a great restaurant. We were visiting Ilkley for a night away and thought the menu looked interesting. We were correct. The food was superb - the best meal out we have had in ages. The staff were helpful and attentive without being obtrusive. The service was just the right pace with time to enjoy pre dinner drinks and have short rests in between courses. All the food was top notch but the calves liver and the pork in green pepper sauce were outstanding. The prices were very reasonable and I wish they were in York as we would be regular visitors.

Me and my fiancé loved our experience here. The staff were very friendly, and the food and wine were delicious. The scallops were cooked beautifully and the pasta came out steaming hot, very fresh and tasty. We reserved a table but when we arrived we were just seated, we weren’t asked if we’d reserved. I’ve seen a few people mention that reserves weren’t honoured, so I’d beware of this. But this didn’t affect our experience as we were seated and served very quickly. I did think the restaurant was a tad loud at times.

8 of us had Christmas Dinner there it was amazing the staff were so attentive from start to finish. Would highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful in every way

Tuesday pre Christmas meal for group of "old" friends - still doing a set menu and while a bit more expensive than last time I visited, choice was excellent as was quality of the meal. Slightly lacking in atmosphere but that was our fault for going at 5pm on a Tuesday. Would definitely recommend

We booked a table for four this Thursday lunchtime & we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was a fantastic 3 course lunch on offer including a glass of house wine or beer. We ordered 2 chicken liver patés, calamari,& bruschetta, followed by linguine, seabass, lasagne & sautéed liver. Everything was delicious & freshly cooked, service from Francesca was outstanding. Only two of us could manage a dessert & we chose affogato with a generous shot of Amaretto - delicioso! We can't wait to return in December for the Christmas menu.

Grabbed a takeout of Pizza and Calamari and it was fantastic. Best pizza in Ilkley. Soft airy dough and loads of flavour in the toppings. Order 30-40mins ahead.

Maybe we just got the restaurant on a bad night, but we arrived for a table at 8 pm and sat down at 8.25. Apologies from the owner with the offer of a drink while we waited, which never arrived. Embarrassing as we were entertaining business clients. Please don’t promise things which you are not going to deliver. A very busy restaurant we understand but take control of your tables. It’s all about positioning, you can have a table, but we need the table back by xxx pm simple. Main course arrived eventually at 9.30. Food as ever was excellent, service, very very functional, zero staff personality, wine very good. The question how is everything was never asked? Then the debate about the bill, no offer of compensation for what has been a below average experience. Good service costs nothing but sadly it was very lacking tonight. Places like this rely on repeat customers, and can’t risk getting the basics wrong. The price you potentially pay is not being in business in 12 months time. It is ok but is not a truly Italian restaurant with many famous Italian recipes not exactly matching the tradition.

Came in without a booking on a Wednesday evening. Very nice welcome and attentive service throughout the meal. The meal was fantastic, fresh, great flavours, very good value and quality. Highly recommended. We will visit again when we holiday in Yorkshire next

We took some friends out for dinner the other evening and picked Vine after a short search! We're so glad we did. The food was delicious. We had the mussel starter, and the calamari. Excellent. Then we had the sea bass, the veal & a rump steak. All very good. One of the best meals I've had in the last several years! Pudding was tiramisu & creme brullee. Also delicious. Service was great as well! Vine is a wonderful spot & we'll definitely be back soon!

Visited the Vine today second visit in a week. On both occasions we had a lovely time, food fab with a good variety on the menu. Service friendly and accommodating. Value for money. It’s a must if you are visiting Ilkley, I think this restaurant often goes under the radar but it’s a little gem great food that’s priced just right.

Amazing, beautiful food, fab service, can't wait for my next visit. If you've not been, you are missing a treat. I would recommend the king prawn risotto, mouth watering x

Great food and service was sound if not aGrear bit frenetic. Atmosphere was spoilt by some (many) customers on mobile phones. These should be banned as they are really anti social. Vine has great potential but less rushing and over booking would augment the excellent food.

Always top class food, never had one bad meal here, in fact it’s consistently amazing. Brilliant with allergies too. Best restaurant in ilkley hands down.

My family & I dined here whilst on holiday in that part of Yorkshire recently. When we first arrived that evening (early) we saw that there were 2 parties of people & thought we may be in for a long wait for service. But no it all turned out perfect, great service & efficency, my Calzone pizza was definitely one of the best I had ever had. All in all, an excellent Sunday night meal out.

The toughest and most tasteless steak I've been served in a restaurant. Okay, perhaps I should have chosen something other, but the choices were pretty uninspiring.

Good solid home cooked Italian food. Been here many, many times and the food it always excellent no matter what i have, but I do recommend the seafood risotto. These guys are friendly, accommodating and excellent value for money, far cheaper and better quality than other local overpriced competitors.

We had a table for four booked for lunch and we were shown to our table promptly. Very friendly staff. For starters we had the deep fried breaded camembert and mains were the pan fried chicken with mozzarella ham and tomato sauce. It was all OK. At £95.25 for four of us including wine and coffee it was good value. Plenty of parking around the place, chargeable but at least available.

Had a lovely Mother’s Day meal at our favourite restaurant. As always the staff were really friendly, the food delicious and the atmosphere perfect for a family celebration. I would recommend this place to anyone, it really is fabulous.

We decided to go to the Vine restaurant very last minute on a Sunday afternoon and I’m so glad we did. We took advantage of the set menu at £18.95 for 2 courses and the children’s menu consists of; drink, mains and pudding for £8.95....

We had a great meal with good wine at an excellent price. Probably one of the best Italian meals I’ve had outside of Italy.
