Met with a friend for lunch and was not disappointed,great food reasonably priced in a dining room which was very clean and well set out. Staff friendly and helpful,nice menu choices and selection of drinks.

Could you update your opening hours?! "Due to the fire"...

First visit for me, the whole ambiance was so relaxing & beautifully decorated, loved the food, great menu. Sarah served us & was a truly nice lady, not pushy, she gave my party & I , a lovely welcome

Service, staff, food and price was excellent. Everything arrived piping hot and tasted amazing.

Really enjoy it here, one of our favourite 'treats'. A bit more pricey than some pub grub, but I genuinely believe it's well worth it. Would strongly recommend the fish pancakes if you ever try it.... you can thank me later!! Good range of beers and ciders too, if you don't want to eat. Only downside is some of the questionable parking, making access a little tricky, plus the gravel is a nightmare on my knees, but that's another story. Definitely go, lots.

Parking terrible, must annoy the neighbours. They were very busy but service wasn't quick. Vegetables arrived long after chicken and additional vegetables ordered never came. Yorkshire puds are big but crusty, I'm a lover of gooey Yorkshire puds so no good for me. We had a time slot but overran due to slow service. I came home and ordered takeaway. Sadly they've had another fire in the night according to the news. Hopefully they can get up and running again soon, it's obviously a popular place.

Eight of us for a meal. Good food, good service with pleasant staff. The resteraunt two thirds full which is a good sign on a Thursday lunch time. Parking down the road ok as car park full. Lovely village setting.

Excellent food went for Sunday lunch I was super happy to find out they even did gluten free Yorkshire puddings! Service was ok sadly looked a little understaffed with restaurant full a couple of waitresses did come across a little grumpy but at the same time all were working hard Atmosphere was loud we had to almost add to the noise to hear each other talk but all in all quite likely to go again especially with range of delicious food that we all enjoyed

Looks good but didn't get in. You need to book a table by the soumds and it was over an hour wait for a table for 2 so we went elsewhere. Busy at 4pm though so not surprising.

Amazing food all came hot, tasty and good standard. Closed Tuesday’s & Wednesday’s. 20% off 2/3 courses of Monday’s, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays 12-4:45pm. 2 courses for 2 people and 2 pints of lemonades £41. We ordered Creamy Garlic Chestnut Mushrooms & Cheese Gratin, Chargrilled Butterflied Chicken Breast, Inside Out" Chicken, Ham & Mushroom Pie, Bramley Apple & Raspberry Crumble. Will definitely be coming back.

Me and my partner visited the Tiger Inn last Sunday for lunch. Booked a table for 1.15 online, very easy to use website. The food was absolutely fantastic. We both had the Sunday dinner 2 course option on the menu. It is a bit pricey but worth it. I had the garlic mushrooms to start and my partner had Mozzarella sticks, both were delicious, for mains I had the beef Sunday dinner. The beef was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth, the veg was as good. My partner who is a vegetarian had vegetarian Cannelloni which was equally as good. Staff were excellent and a credit to the pub.

The fish and chips were fantastic massive portions

Had a few hours in Knaresborough and found this little hidden gem on our way home. We ended up having 3 courses! Every mouthful was absolutely delicious, huge credit to the chef! Staff were very friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere. Obviously a very popular place, as many tables were either full or reserved. We’re so grateful they were able to fit us in and will definitely be recommending to friends and family. Already looking forward to our next visit! Suzy & Lee

Wednesday to Saturday, they are open and I've been 3 times now. The best food ever! The daily deal was really good value, but they've increased the prices by about £5 and you can now have 2 courses for £20.95 instead of £14.95. I've been with different friends each time and they all loved it too. On each occasion, I've had the 2 courses, each time choosing the Inside Out Chicken, ham and mushroom pie, which isn't a pie at all but is the only meal I've had in years where I've said 'wow, that was amazing'. On my last visit, Saturday 13th May it was as delicious and the dessert of creme brulee was gorgeous. I only drink soda water and, unlike other places, the actually charge for it, which I don't agree with!

Great food in a lovely atmosphere

Nice clean pub in a lovely village location. It seems to be struggling to express an identity or vibe it's part cosy country pub, part modern 'chain' pub and part diner (seating area with rows of booths-bit odd) nice staff but food seemed a bit pricey.

Excellent food, recommend the fish & chips. Now closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Nice location, lovely little village. Plenty of eating space inside. Could be either more traditional or more modern, doesnt seem to identify as either at the moment.

The most amazing Sunday lunch. The best beef I've had in years and a very generous portion. Yorkshire puds were huge and wonderfully crisp. Lovely selection of veg served separately. . A group of 10 of us went, it was worth travelling for. Would deffinatly return.

Lovely food, great service but I can't go more than 3* We had a table booked for 4.15pm on the basis of advertised 20% discount on all food and drink if minimum 2 course meal was had if your table was booked before 4.30pm (photo attached) We decided to have a couple of drinks first before dining. Our order went in a bit after 5pm. On getting the bill there was no discount, contrary to advertised deal. The charming lady server turned a bit grumpy and stated orders had to be into the kitchen before 4.30pm. If you want the deal get your order in!!!

Utterly disgusted with the appalling lack of customer service skills displayed at this dated public house. The staff were by far the rudest, most unprofessional and discourteous I have ever experienced in my time and I have eaten in hundreds of eating establishments. It’s a shame because the food was above average, however the staff who work front of house are much too be desired. Toddlers show more decorum.

It was a shame the Tiger Inn, Copmanthorpe had a fire. It took two years to come back. We missed it, it was our place to go. Our visit 30/10/2022 Was well rewarded. A lot of hard work has been done to restore it. The staff are are as attentive as ever, but not fussy. The meals we had were superb, as ever. They are currently running an offer. Book a meal for between 2:30 & 4:30 Friday or Saturday and get 20% off.

The best Sunday lunch served here. Always piping hot food. I can never manage a dessert on the day but like to buy one to take home for later. Staff always give service with a smile. Will be back again very soon.

Lovely little pub. Hidden away but busy. Food was lovely. Very poor vegetarian or vegan options. All sandwiches were meat and came with chips (lovely but over salted). I asked for a cheese and fried onion sandwich which they were more than happy to provide. However, they then charged for a cheese and ham sandwich with chips (which I didn't have). Overall happy with friendliness of staff, atmosphere and quality of food. But felt it overpriced and lacked variety for non meat options.

Lack of flexibility to food offered. Wouldn't allow a starter to be combined with a sandwich on their meal deal despite sandwiches probably being cheaper than a main course dish. Other than that the food was excellent.

Visited today , first meal after the re opening and very good it was. Garlic mushrooms , prawn cocktail , open chicken & ham pie and a cheese burger. Couldnt fault food or service . Very busy and no wonder.

The food here is very very good. They offer a very good menu. You can get 2 course for £15.95 or 3 courses for £18.95. The food doesn't taste cheap or pre bought. We had a party of 6 and we were served quickly in between each course and our whole table loved all the food.

Call here on our drive back from GNR hoping for something to eat. The staff were very welcoming and quickly found an available table for 3 very tired and hungry runners. As it was late Sunday afternoon some of the roast options were sold out but there were still plenty of tasty dishes available. The waiting staff were very efficient and soon brought over drinks and took our food orders. The spacious rooms were bright and airy with diners having comfortable albeit basic seating. Sunday meals are a little more expensive than during the week when 2 and 3 course deals are available. Everywhere was very clean and tidy with well kept WC facilities. There is outdoor seating and a car park too. Really enjoyed our unplanned stop and would recommend a visit.

Great food, great menu, really friendly staff. The steak and ale pie was amazing and the black pudding starter was I think the best piece of black pudding I have ever had. Really good selection of beers and everything really well priced. Can't wait to visit again, 100% recommended.

Visited here today and was extremely impressed with the quality and affordability of the food. The menu contained some beautiful traditional English pub food choices with beautiful presentation too. The service was brilliant as all and the waitresses were extremely chatty and genuine even though the restaurant was full. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and the timings of the starters, mains and desserts were perfect. Just enough time in between meals to relax and chat. We finished with some coffee which were all too made beautifully. We are too a family in the industry so are experience with great food and service and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great. The only thing I would say is to perhaps reduce the lightening to add ambience but that is the only thing I could say. To finish with, we were pleasantly surprised with the bill, as we would have expected to pay more. With that being said, we had no cash on us so we were unable to tip. However, we will definitely be back soon, this time with some cash!

Very busy when we arrived at 12:45 but quieter by the time we left so maybe book later if you prefer a quieter experience. The food, we all agreed, was superb and the location for a sunny, summer sunday was ideal. Will definitely go again.

Superb, great food, friendly staff nice surroundings. I had belly pork mash. The mash was perfect, the pork was the best I've had but the sauce - heaven on a plate! The person with me also thought the chicken meal was fabulous. Room full with everyone clearly enjoying the food. Highly recommended!!
